Trivia gasps as his eyes shine and smiled genuinely

Trivia walked off to try find Mario, as Strawberry stayed on the place for a bit, he'll then start walking, he knows maybe he'll found the rest of the SMG4 Crew of that universe on the showgrounds, so he'll go there. . .as Strawberry approached the showgrounds, he could notice SMG4 standing by the door of his castle, immobile, maybe he was staring at some random stuff? who knows. . .the neko Mario recolor stepped in to try to talk to SMG4

"hello? SMG4? my name is Strawberry and-"

but no response. . .Strawberry would walk closer, to see better the SMG4 before his eyes, as he approached him, he could notice SMG4 with a tanuki tail and tanuki ears, and strange red rings over his wrists and ankles. . .too his clothes with more pale colors. . .instead of his bright blue and white colors

". . .S-SMG4? is. . .is that you? well now i am pretty sure you're not the canon one, but. . .but. . .you look. . .look pretty. . .i-i no want offense, but. . .look pretty. . .in bad state, i-i am a medic, i-i can help if you wa-"

"no thanks. . .i am perfectly fine~"

"G-Guh? S-SMG4!? y-you're far from. . .from be ok! i-i can help i-"

God Box SMG4 turned around fully and quickly approached Strawberry, grabbing him by the shoulders

"it was a long time since i saw a Mario Recolor. . .since our little incident with 0 on my channel's 10th anniversary. . .i thought they all died or. . .got reworked"

"i-i. . .ummm, i am from. . .from other universe, 4. . .w-we too lived the 0 incident, but i and my family got to survive and we was like the only Recolors who didn't got redesign on my Universe"

"interesting. . ."

SMG4 lifted Strawberry grabbing him by the throat, strangling him a bit, Strawberry gasps as he try to fight back for get free from SMG4's grasp, kicking his legs, hitting his arms. . .nothing worked, no success. . .

"i wonder how would it feel to be a Mario recolor again since. . .that fatidic day and my design was forcefully changed that day~"

"S-SMG4...P-P-Please. . .t-this. . .this not. . .not you gah! l-let. . .l-let me go!! let me goo!!"

No response, as soon as Strawberry knew, everything went dark around him. . .

and then a sudden pain, where he felt his body stretch a bit more, his bones cracking, and felt like if his cat ears and tail was ripped off and feel tanuki ears and tail on grow on it's place, blood came out of where his ears was and was replaced by the new tanuki ears, too from his tail, and felt how his leg and arm felt like burning

"i-i. . .i am sorry, Trivia, Noelle, Berdly, SMGS. . .i-i. . .i won't be there for you 4 anymore. . .more for you Trivia. . .i. . .i failed you. . .i am sorry"

was the last words he could say on his head, as he didn't even had control of himself. . .he isn't dead, but felt like on a deep sleep. . .a big heavy deep sleep. . .for eternity

"ahhh. . .it feels so good!~ i could get so used to this new body, i can use it for remember the old times when i feel nostalgic about my old body!"

SMG4 said with a mix of Strawberry's voice and his, SMG3 who arrived shortly stared at his partner as put his hands on his hips

"you lucky bastard, if i was here sooner. . .I WOULD had the chance of be the one reviving the nostalgia!"

SMG4 stick his tongue at SMG3 which he grunts and crossed his arms. . .they suddenly heard someone come and calling by Strawberry

. . .SMG4 and SMG3 looked at the direction the voice came from, then looked at each other and smirked

Trivia walked near as saw Strawberry from far and turned backwards just noticing his friend has a Tanuki tail

THE POSSESSION COLLECTION

I've decided to cook up a fun little event that is open for anyone wanting in! Inspired by @4thwallbreakerdraws2, (they're awesome go check them out) and @niramihasters's Billsona trend, I've decided that I want to draw your OCs, but with a twist...

Here's a special lore-drop about Godbox AU:

SMG4 AND SMG3 CAN POSSESS BODIES.

They do so by physically crawling into someone's body, kind of like a ghost!

Here's the plan!

You draw or write your character about to be possessed by SMG4 or SMG3! How do they get possessed? Do they get jumped and forcefully inhabited? Do they fight back? Or do they willingly let them in? Did they make a deal with the demon? Or did they even… lose a bet? Were they tricked? Bribed? Creativity is not required, but it is encouraged! Make sure to mention me (@grinnames or @smg4godboxaucollection) in the post!

This step is optional. You can draw or describe the possessed design yourself! If you're gonna submit a drawing, make sure it at least is flatly colored. Either way...

...I draw one of my boys wearing your OC’s skin like a glove in the order they were submitted! Please note that I will be taking my own creative liberties, and my design may not always line up with yours.

Here's a rough idea of what possession looks like for the two of them:

Placement of the missing texture skin can vary, SMG3's claws are protruding from the inside of the fingers, and if you are not comfortable drawing gore, don't feel forced!

Something extra to know if you are considering making the design yourself:

SMG4 could care less about clothes. He has little to no fashion sense. As long as he's allowed to stretch, he fine with anything.

SMG3 always cares about how he looks no matter what body he inhabiting.

They say my hunger's a problem.

Rummaging through the trash heap. Soy picks up things but throws them behind her if they don't interest her.

"God- where the bloody hell is all the good shit-"

She was trying to find things to pawn off with Bob but wasn't having much luck..

She perked up when she heard a noise.

".... Damn rats-"

She went back to sifting through the heap. That was until she got crash tackled into the trash out of nowhere-

"WOAH- FUCKIN- OWWWW- WHAT THE HELL-"

Soy's head spun 180 to look at her attacker.

It was him.

He had a wide grin on his face. He kept her held down.

"Woah Woah- hey there bud- mind uh- lettin me go- I don't wanna get roped into whatever crud you've got rattlin around in that racoon head of yours-"

"Oh shut up. I need a favour from you~..."

"Uh-huh.. and what exactly is that? It isn't very tubular of you to be crash tacklin peeps you want a favour from-"

"How about we make a deal~...? I get to borrow your body and your little powers for a while... and I'll give you whatever you want in return~.... I can see you've been searching for some stuff here~...."

Although you couldn't quite tell, it was obvious she glanced down at the trash before looking back at him. She tilted her glasses down and squinted at him.

"I understand if you don't believe me~... I promise I will deliver on my end~..."

".... Pinkie promise."

His expression changed to confusion- "Uegh- Pinkie promise-? What are you 5?"

"Hey hey, everyone knows that a pinkie promise is the hardest thing to break"

He rolled his eyes and did as she said.

After all, if it's to get a hold of her odd abilities, then he has to do something to get her to agree..

But some deals... shouldn't be made...

That shapeshifting ability makes the user hungrier and hungrier after each use.. and failure to meet the demands of the parasite results in control loss..

The bigger the shift and the longer they're like that.. the more demanding the food requirement will be..

Sometimes it's best to question the catches of someone's power before striking the deal. Smg4.

I had a theory hit me at mach 100 speed about your Change In Script AU about what the next chapter might have in it and even if I'm completely wrong- I wanted to draw this very badly for ya. Hope you enjoy!!!

I mean- if Mr.Puzzles can hotwire himself into the Core of Didney land....

Why couldn't he hotwire himself right into the Guardian Pod and take full control of SMG3 if not replace him as a Guardian?

I went with the idea of him hotwiring to take control of SMG3 bc that's the drawing idea that hit me and it was way more devilish mweheheheheh~! Take him over and threaten to replace him at the snap of the lack of cooperation

Instead of a regular fabric mask, SMG3 decided to use a digital one so that it would display his smile. And since this body has poor eyesight, he decided to pick up cooler glasses with diopters

The room seemed a little too small now that Mr. Puzzles had entered it, and he seemed to be aware that his tall, lankier form wasn’t best suited for this smaller, temporary break room aka storage room. But it didn’t stop him from closing the door and locking it behind him, Puzzles’ screen showing off a particular technicolor smile to let you know he was in a playful mood.

“You are aware this is my lunch break?” You asked, setting down the dish in question, and got to your feet.

“Of course. Why do you think I sought you out?” Mr. Puzzles teased. “Aren’t I allowed to see how my dear friend is doing?”

“You saw me an hour ago.”

“I simply had to see you again; I made some headway in a script and wanted to share the…inspiration.”

Oh, he was in a good mood.

You wondered what…

Your mind stuttered to a halt as Mr. Puzzles closed the distance between the two of you to reach out to take your hand in one of his own loosely. “Hi?”

“Hello.” Mr. Puzzles greeted, amused, before he leaned his metal head over, stopping a little as he lifted your hand up. Still keeping digital eyes on you, Puzzles pressed his screen to the back of your hand, mimicking a kiss with a display on his face; not some photo or cartoon but with his own digital face, the eyes closed and the technicolor smile content as his screen static tickled you skin.

“How long have you wanted to do that?” You asked, a little breathlessly. “Not that you haven’t kissed me before.”

Puzzles’ screen flickered to a rather interesting hooded look and a teasing smile. He continued to hold your hand, though his fingers caressed lightly before he smoothly stepping closer to press his screen to the side of your head.

Puzzles hadn’t said anything yet.

The static fuzziness could be felt along your cheek even as you felt Mr. Puzzles’ free hand slowly wrap an around your waist. An involuntary shiver, as his arm tightened around you and his voice dropped to a low almost-growl.

“My dear, I’ve wanted to do that for much too long.”

A surprised if delighted laugh practically punched its way out of Mr. Puzzles when you’d returned the favor, in a way, by turning his head casing and peppering the sides of his screen with little kisses.

Though it kind of backfired as Mr. Puzzles easily hefted you up to set down on the table, flashing a rather manic grin at you. Without warning, Puzzles shoved his screen face into your chest to make obnoxious kissing sounds that he wouldn’t dare make otherwise around anyone but you.

A retaliation, as you toyed with his antenna sticking out of his hat, as they were within easy reach, before carefully petting your fingers along the wires plugged into the back of Mr. Puzzles’ head.

“Do you have to go back to work?” Mr. Puzzles’ muffled voice eventually questioned into your chest, arms wrapped around your lower back as he released with a contented static hum.

“I need to finish my lunch.” You moved a hand up to tweak the crooked antenna.

Mr. Puzzles let out a gasp of mock offense but otherwise didn’t let go of you as he then let out a sinister laugh and began to nuzzle his screen into your chest to presumably build up static electricity.

“Oh no, whatever shall I do?” You reach out and jab Puzzles’ metal antenna. “Zap” A jolt went through him, though you were the one letting out an embarrassing yelp as Mr. Puzzles upended you onto the table to loom over you, the antenna actually flattened even if his expression was playful. “I do have to go back to work.” You said, a little regretfully.

“I think I can make a convincing argument to allow you to leave early.” Mr. Puzzles said smoothly, making no outward indication that he was going to let you up off the table.

[Mr. Puzzles proceeds to carry reader out of the storage room, dramatically showing you to other coworkers over how sick you were compared to yesterday and how in the world had you been allowed in that day. The reader, meanwhile, just lies there in his arms like yup. This is now your life you have a clingy tv headed man who wanted to spend time with you to receive as much affection as he possibly could. Mr. Puzzles proceeds to hold and cuddle reader on a sofa in his ‘temporary housing’ despite his long gangly legs sticking off the end of it, pleased with himself for getting you all to himself for the rest of the day]

Ough, the height extension did not do my boy Sunni any favors. Who knew possession could be so painful?/silly

This is one of my newer SMG4 OCS, Sunflower Guy, aka Sunni. Damn, and this is how I introduce them? Sorry, my guy; I'll introduce ya properly sometime (that doesn't end up with them possessed. Maybe…)

Anyway, throwing my entry in the ring for @grinnames 200+ follower event. Congrats, man, you deserve it!! Not only did I draw PossessedGB4!Sunni, I also wrote about how it happened. I'm slightly rusty at writing, but I hope you like it. Now, ONTO THE STORY!!!

AID GONE WRONG 

Summary: Attempting to help a friend in need goes very wrong for Sunflower Guy.

The sun was setting as another day ended at Luigi's flower shop. Inside, a lone Shy Guy was putting away supplies, quickly dashing to and fro around the shop as they did.

'Pesticides go here; fertilizers go here, make sure its actually fertilizer and not gunpowder; don’t wanna deal with that again; heliotrope seeds go here-'

Their thoughts are soon interrupted as the bell dings, signaling a customer’s arrival. Sunni’s head turns towards the door, finding, to their confusion, no customer.

Weird.

Sunni cocks their head briefly before shaking their head and picking up a flowerpot, resuming their duties. They barely take a step toward the back before the bell rings again. Their head whips toward the door, a wave of irritation washing through them as, again, no sign of a customer.

Sunni sighs, gently placing the flowerpot on the counter, then quickly walking outside and pacing around the storefront a few times.

Empty.

Sunni grumbles under their breath and is about to turn on his heel and head back inside when he hears rustling from behind the building. The Shy Guy freezes up as the rustling continues briefly before stopping entirely.

Sunni’s mind runs rampant with different scenarios, ranging from something as innocent as a wild animal snuffling through the trash to more violent and scary thoughts.

The sound of a groan snaps them out of their thoughts. Their feet move before they realize it, and as they turn the corner, their eyes land on a familiar blue hat among a pile of discarded boxes.

Sunni makes a surprised sound as they dash toward SMG4. A surge of worry and concern overtakes them as they quickly reach him, grabbing his hand as they try to pull him out of the pile.

As soon as they make contact with SMG4’s hand, a wave of fear and anxiety washes over them, keeping their legs stuck and preventing them from running. SMG4 slowly stands up, towering (far taller than he should've) over the Shy Guy, his lips pulling back in a dark smile as he keeps his grip on them.

All too late, Sunni comes to a horrific realization.

‘This isn’t SMG4. This… this is…’

Short panicked breaths leave Sunni as tries to pull away, the attempt useless as SMG4’s hand begins to dematerialize, his entire body dissolving into wisps of red and black as they enter the Shy Guy’s body.

White hot pain envelops their body all too quickly as they begin to scream, collapsing to the ground as they writhe in pain, the horrible sensation quickly becoming too much for the Shy Guy to handle.

'A monster."

As Sunni's vision dims, the last thing they hear before the darkness swallows them whole is an unfamiliar voice.

“A Shy Guy? What an interesting addition to my collection.”

"Dude? A Shy Guy, really? Couldn't you possess something better? Something more, I don’t know…destructive?" SMG3 asked, a hand on his hip as he looks down from the shop’s roof in disinterest.

Cracking bones and the tearing of fabric and flesh were all that answered SMG3's questions as his partner adjusted the vessel as he saw fit. Red rings form around the vessel's arms, legs, and neck. Only once his partner's tanuki ears and tail pop out in a surge of blood does SMG4 look at SMG3, a single yellow eye peering up through the one of the eyeholes of the bloody mask.

“What, you don’t like it? I thought it was cute.” SMG4’s voice rasps before falling into a coughing fit, blood dripping from the mask’s mouthpiece as he gets used to his new vessel and its limitations.

SMG3 just sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose as he shakes his head.

Living things do require more focus to bring with into the Otherside, but non-living things can be brought freely.

Nocte is not limited to mirrors only, other surfaces require more focus and energy to jump into.
