experience: I started rping via the forums on Gaiaonline in...2008-ish? Joined Tumblr in 2012 on a Clara Oswin blog that I have since forgotten the url and password for. I've been writing Belle and Beau since starting this blog in 2013.

preferred roleplay type: Depends on my mood. I usually try to do multi-paragraph and will sometimes write a novella-length reply or starter. Sometimes things don't go that way and my brain only manages a paragraph, or my rp partner only gives me a few sentences to go off of, so I match their length.

pet peeves & dealbreakers: Um...just please read my rules. My major dealbreakers have to do with breaking them.

best time to write: Depends on the day. I am currently in grad school and scheduling changes depending on my class schedule and energy levels. Sometimes I will write during the day because I have multi-hour breaks between classes, other times Friday through Sunday might be better.

are you like your muse? I'm definitely like Belle. I may be like Beau, too, aside from the not being male part. You write what you know, y'know?

RULES:

PORTRAYAL: My portrayal of Malina is heavily influenced by the TV show and several headcanons I have for her; however, I always try to stick to her canon personality and behavior so your experience with her is as accurate as possible.

SHIPPING: I'm always open to ship with all the fandoms and franchises, including anime and videogames. Although, even if I do love them, I've always believed chemistry should exist between characters (which can be achieved in threads). If it isn't there, it'll be harder for me to support the ship. Don't force your muse onto Malina if she rejects them. Her no is very strong and won't give in so easily if she's not interested.

FOLLOW: I only follow and write with RP blogs/multimuse blogs. If you see me following, it means I see our muses interacting and that I want to write with you. Personal blogs and non-mutuals are only allowed to send asks, but they're welcome to follow my muse. Although, if you wish to break mutuality, fine. You'll have your reasons and you won't be forced to explain, but that'll make me think you don't wish to roleplay with me anymore. In that case, I'll wait for a week or two to unfollow you as well and drop our threads if we have any.

REPLIES: I ask of you to be patient with my super slow replies. I'm an English language teacher IRL working with kids, so my energy is super drained most of the time. I'll be replying to you when I have free time and motivation. I'd never rush replies from anyone, I understand we all are adults with stressful jobs so it's okay not to reply to me right away. I ask you to do the same.

Also, I tend to forget about threads, If I ever take too long to reply, don't hesitate to shoot me a message.

When I was younger and watched "The Emperor's New School", this was my favorite shot of the entire opening song. They are both being so playful and flirty with each other. Kuzco teasingly trying to sneak at Malina's work while she covers said work, just as equally teasing. It's just so cute.

Since I seem to now have a new obsession with The Emperor's New Groove/The Emperor's New School, thanks to @boombambaby and @smartylina, I now feel the need to come up with a more verse-appropriate name for Belle.

This is something I used to do all the time for specific verses where the name Belle didn't fit, and it feels about right for this. Though...I dunno. Maybe I'll leave her as just being Belle and make the more verse-appropriate name a nickname?

Either way, I need a bit of help narrowing the possible names down.

Here's what I've found so far from this list that appear to work:

Killa - Representing the Moon, Killa embodies mystery and nighttime beauty

Yma Sumac - Signifying "how beautiful", Yma Sumac captures the appreciation of beauty

Ananau - Reflecting "beautiful", Ananau appreciates aesthetic culture

Tika Tika - Reflecting "flower flower," Tika Tika symbolizes abundant beauty

Of course all of the names are supposed to be analogs for the name Belle/Beauty. If anybody has any other suggestions they think could work for this verse, I'd love to hear them!
