TALKING MOMO: STRANGE TRAVELS ON THE SILVER SCREEN - Lexington, Kentucky. That time when I appeared on the big screen at the Kentucky Theater in Lexington during the premiere of Seth Breedlove’s Small Town Monsters production of “MOMO: The Missouri Monster” (2019). I was being interviewed for the cryptid feature documentary by none other than famed cryptozoologist, TV monster hunter and author Lyle Blackburn - a fellow who actually wrote a book on the 1970s hominid encounters. The screening was a fun experience that I got to share with my boy, Robbie. The film went on to show at several theater venues, including The State Theater during the Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. “MOMO” is currently available to view on many streaming services. THE MAN IN THE HAT: LYLE BLACKBURN AT CRYPTID CON - Rock and Roll Cryptid Author Lyle Blackburn fields questions during a panel discussion at the 2017 Cryptid Con in Frankfort, Kentucky. Lyle is a musician, actor, producer, TV personality, researcher, speaker, and author who has penned several cryptid books (most notably being "The Beast of Boggy Creek" - 2012) and numerous articles on Strange Creatures. He has appeared on a number of Monster-Hunting television shows and documentaries, including Destination America's "Monsters and Mysteries in America" and Animal Planet's "Finding Bigfoot." Aside from his TV and film appearances, Blackburn has also been interviewed on dozens of radio shows, including the popular "Coast to Coast AM." A frequent speaker at Paranormal Conferences, Blackburn has appeared or lectured at nearly every major Cryptid Event in the country. Despite his laid-back Texan demeanor and cool rocker persona, Lyle Blackburn is a "Monster Geek" at heart with a commanding knowledge of Cryptid Lore and Legend.
