I've been reading fanfiction for uhm... 25 years now. But I have never written fanfiction myself. Until now!

Apparently, it took age, Viggo & Orlando and much valued encouragement and excellent help from @vamp-ress for me to take this step.

So here it is, my rather epic fanfiction, featuring Viggo & Orlando. Current time, canon (sort of - some minor changes, like the name of Orlando's son and such), 21 000+ words, no rating (I love pining so that's really all there is). The theme is what got me back into this fandom: nostalgia, regret, a long time passing, unfulfilled desires. And new opportunities!

I love constructive feedback, so if you do read, please! Other than that, I hope you enjoy. I certainly enjoyed finally making a proper story out of the tales which used to never leave my head and never had a proper ending.
