Everyone expected you two to get married. San and yn, the perfect duo. You two grew up together, coming from the same poor survival village, living just a few houses from each other and being one of the few kids that still had dreams of a better future. The freaks, how your neighbors and other kids would call. But you didn’t care, San was your safe place and you were his.
You grew up sneaking from your parents and climbing trees, hunting small animals together, learning how to plant and harvest from old books that survived the virus decades ago. Your families did not stand each other but did not interfere in your friendship, life as an apocalyptic baby was already shitty enough.
But you saw your world turn upside down when the peacekeepers from the president came after you and other kids from your village. Your parents, just like theirs, sold you to the government in exchange for food and a bit of money. Since you were the youngest, and therefore, the only “changeable”, they sold you so they could survive. You did not blame your family for it, not when you saw your older sister die of the virus and the others being forced to work more to bring food and money to your household while all you did was play all day with San.
San. The boy you kept in your mind every single day for the rest of your life. Every night you’d lay in your comfortable bed and wish he was there to tell his stupid stories like he did when you were kids. You never heard of him again after you entered the gates of the main city. You and the other kids coming from all over the country being locked up inside those giant concrete walls.
You went through all the types of tests and training for later being sorted into your positions. You almost ended up as one of the pleasure maids for the president if wasn’t for your misbehavior at one of the practice formals. You were very explosive, usually acting with emotion which to them was seen as a virtue, so you ended up as one of the peacemakers. And soon enough, after a few years and a lot of work, you were nominated as the head of the peacemakers in the 5th area as they called it.
And even after all these years, after many missions, you were still scared and guilty that those people were being executed for crimes that were not even real crimes sometimes, they were just trying to survive. With the passing of the years, the president became less and less tolerable, just deciding to execute people just because he could, because he had the power. You were not like that, never been, but you needed to survive as well, your family, which you discovered received every year a small amount of money from your sale, needed to survive, so you disassociated every time you needed to work. yn as a peacemaker wasn’t the same yn you were as you took your uniform out. Also, you couldn’t complain about the life you took in the main city, you had a comfortable life, a comfortable home, clothes to wear and enough food for you to eat and be strong to deal with the rascals.
There was a new talk in town, a group of young people terrorizing near the main city, graffitiing the walls with their rebellious words, throwing bombs, and recruiting people for their group. Some of the citizens complained that they were disturbing the peace, but most importantly, they were getting adepts even inside the walls, people who were allowed to live there, people who had nothing - apparently - to complain about. So of course the president wouldn’t be quiet and happy about it, sending you and many more of his best peacemakers to hunt them down.
You were currently in one of the many trucks looking for them, your suit protected with bulletproof padding and your face protected with an anti-gas mask, but your mind seemed a little uneasy. Your heart seemed a little uneasy. Something inside of you not allowing you to fully disconnect, fully disassociate and do your work. Nico, your partner, and boyfriend, noticed and held your bouncy leg, squeezing it and giving you a reassuring look from inside his mask.
Nico wasn’t a bad guy, but he wasn’t good either. He was in this grey area between doing what he does for his job and doing it because he enjoys it. But on those nights that you were feeling lonely, he was the best you could get. He pleasured you, sure. But it was not like it was the best. Many of those nights you imagined how would San look as an adult, if he still was that skinny kid you left behind, or if he grew to be a strong man. Or if he married and became just like the other men in the village. Many times you got yourself creating a hypothetical San in your head and imagining how he would be in bed, how would he pleasure you if it was him instead of Nico. Those were the nights you came harder. You felt guilty about not actually loving Nico, but again, you weren’t sure he loved you either or he was with you for the convenience as well.
The truck came to a halt, taking you out of your daydreams, and you heard screams outside the vehicle. You and the others went out and found a few people all dressed in black, their clothes looking like they were a bunch of pieces of old clothes that were sawn together, they wore gas masks too, but you couldn’t see their faces underneath, a black balaclava hiding their identity. You were so out of your usual mindset that when they started to attack each other you were caught by surprise, instantly starting to attack them as well.
They were outnumbered but they still had some tricks under their sleeves, managing to get a lot of your men down, but soon reinforcement arrived and they just couldn’t win. Some of them managed to escape, others were killed, and others were captured to take them to the prison and wait for their execution.
Just when you were leaving you noticed that it wasn’t Nico sitting next to you.
“Where’s Nico?” one of your teammates put his hand on your shoulder and denied with his head and he didn’t have to say anything else, you knew Nico was dead.
For some reason you were envious of him, being dead, free from that duty. You didn’t know if it was for the fact that the guilt from killing innocent people was stronger than ever, if it was from you being tired of doing things you didn’t want to or from this gut feeling that something wasn’t right. All you knew was that you wanted to escape, to live a different life, to go back in time and run away when you discovered what your family did.
When you entered the gates, all the cars went straight to the jail, taking all the criminals to be arrested. Some of your men took them as you excused yourself for not feeling well after the death of your boyfriend. But truth was that all you needed was to be alone in the darkness of your room and try to forget the afternoon events. The intentional cold water falling down your back and making all your pores bristle and your tears get lost as they fell into your feet.
You were almost asleep after crying your eyes out of distress and sadness when the doorbell from your apartment rang. You put on your robe and went to pick up the door, knowing it was probably someone to talk about Nico’s death.
“Captain yln” it was one of your subordinates. You nodded for him to keep talking. “One of the prisoners from today is wishing to speak to you, he says he’s the head of rebels”
“Did he say what he wanted to talk about? Or identified himself further?” He denied.
“He just said he has a message to you and that he wishes to speak to you before dying” you sighed and decided that maybe this was going to get you out of your thoughts.
You didn’t think much, just grabbed your holster, not caring to put it on and followed the man. As soon as you entered the prison chills ran down your spine, the loud chanting of the prisoners felt too familiar even though you never heard it. The screams made your head hurt.
You entered one of the interrogation rooms and sat at the usual chair, waiting while they brought in the inmate.
A tall and honestly very handsome man sat in the chair in front of you, a smirk sat on his lips as he looked at you from top to bottom. You analyzed the man, he looked so familiar. His cat-like eyes, his tan skin, his expressions. It looked almost like…
“Long time no see, munchkin” his voice was velvety, sensual, it ran chills down your spine.
“San?” He chuckled and nodded. “Oh my god, San. I can’t believe it is really you!” You left your chair and moved in front of him, pulling him on his feet and into a hug. He immediately returned it
“Hey… hey… I’m here” he said as you nuzzled into his chest and neck, smelling his musky scent, that even with all the dirt from the combat and years without seeing him, still smelled like you could remember. Tears falling freely from your tired eye.
“That’s exactly why!”
For many many years you imagined San, how he’d look, how he’d talk, how he was, what had he done with his future. And then, with him in front of you, standing tall and beautiful, very real, not a result of your imagination, had you dizzy. Not in a million years you’d imagine that he’d grow to be not only a rebel but fucking hot one. All of the nights you imagined him, none of them prepared you for how he looked in real life.
And the realization hit you. He was going to die. He was going to be executed. There’s no way the mayor would leave him alive. That was the first time you were seeing your friend in years. And it was going to be the last.
“I know what you’re thinking in that head of yours, yn” you were cut from your daydreaming, and tilted your head to look at him. “You’re thinking about the execution” you lowered your head, looking at your feet, how he still knew you so well after so long? He grabbed your hands and squeezed them for you to look at him again. “That’s exactly why I asked you to come here”
“I won’t let you die, Sannie. Not now that you are back into my life” his eyes and his smile felt so soft upon you, his right hand caressed your cheek and his callouses scraped your skin gently. “I won’t”
“I know you won’t, baby. Because you will help us escape and will escape with us” his sentence caught you off guard. “We have a plan but we need your help”
“But it won’t be dangerous having me with you? I mean, I know too much, I’ve been working with them for years. God! I’m the head of one of their security troop”
“Don’t worry about it, we’ve been hiding for long enough to know how to hide you too” you nodded and looked around, trying to see if there was a sign of anyone around that could listen to you. You knew the cameras didn’t work for years now, it was just to pretend to the inmates. “Will you help us?”
“Yes, of course. I… I hate this place and I hate what I do” you stopped, head dropping again. “But my family… they need me… they…” he lifted your chin to look at him, which you gladly did so.
“Your family is long gone, yn. Your parents died many years ago in one of the mayor’s interventions, your older sisters married and left the village, Jongho joined us and Dongho left the village a few months after you left. No one gets money from you being here” your mouth was agape, you should’ve known it was all lies to keep you obedient. But even then you fell for them. For the love of your family.
“What’s the plan?” He smiled at you and nodded. You were about to escape that hell hole with the one true love of your life.
Tumblr media
When the clock hit midnight the next day, you were already prepared, all the things you needed packed and safely hidden near the south exit of the town. You headed to the prison, uniform from head to toe, and demanded to talk to the chief of the rebels. A man, not much taller than you, met you at the same room you met San previously and you handed him what was planned, helping him hide the controller on his clothes.
You two staged a fight and demanded him to be taken to the south prison, to divide him from his companions. The officer did as you said, leaving you alone in the place since he trusted you. You took the opportunity and released all the other men locked, including San.
Since the prison was far from the actual city, there were a lot of alternative routes they could take to arrive at the southern gates without being seen and separating themselves not to be caught in a bundle.
You, San and other two rebels took one of the riskier routes but if anything happened and you were caught, you could lie about transferring the inmates to the south.
A few minutes later you arrived at the designated gate, a few more of the rebels already there, only two and the chief missing. When the other two arrived, you proceed to go to beat the southern prison to attack when the officer and the chief arrive.
It didn’t take much longer for the two men to appear and the rebels attacked, killing the officer quickly, mercilessly, no sound spilled. You decided to forget what you saw, since you did much worse to some of them when you were dissociated.
“Everyone’s here?” Hongjoong, which you learned was the name of the chief, said counting all of the rebels. “Good. Everyone’s here and alive, time to leave this shit hole” you all nodded as he used the controller you gave him earlier to open the gate since he was the only one who knew how to use that.
Somehow there was already a big black truck waiting for them outside the gates, how they communicated to the others you have no idea, but you were so glad they did because as soon as you all hopped into the vehicle, some of the mayor’s troops came after you. San and the others started to counterattack, throwing homemade bombs into the cars and destroying them, sometimes even more than one in one go.
You sat quietly praying to watch ever god decided to hear you that you left all well and alive, that you could leave all of this behind and start a new life with San.
It wasn’t long until everything went silent and San returned back to your side, hugging you and kissing the top of your head.
“We are free now. You are free” he said, his voice happy, smile on his lips as if he waited to say those words to you forever. And he did.
You finally smiled and threw yourself on him, not giving a fuck there were more people in the truck, and kissed him. It was just a long peck but it was long awaited for the both of you. Everyone around you cheered, happy for you and for the plan that worked.
The entire trip to their headquarters you and San talked about your life after you left, sometimes engaging in conversation with the others as well, but there was a growing tension between you two. So thick you were sure the others could feel and see it too. San’s hands were gently and almost secretly all over your body. He was wrapping them around your waist, then holding your own, then caressing gently your tight by his side. It was when he put them there and gave squeezes that you felt your breath hitch and your stomach curl.
It was evident that you’ve been so frustrated with your absence from each other’s lives, from what you could have been. You were dying for each other, you could feel that in the kiss. And you knew that when you start you won’t stop.
“We’re here, we’re home” the driver announced as he stopped under a big abandoned building and everyone hopped off.
San held your hand and pulled you with him to the third floor, entering one of the rooms.
“They’re gonna fuck, right?” One of the rebels asked, seeing San pull you away so fast and so eagerly.
And he was more than right. San pulled you into that room and closed and locked the door before pushing you against it and kissing you ferociously. His tongue invading your mouth and intoxicating you with his taste. Hands all over your body, squeezing, feeling, touching, as yours were entangled in his soft hair, pulling the strands as you kept devouring each other.
“You have no idea how long I’ve waited to do that” he dropped his mouth to your neck, kissing and biting the spot. “How many nights I’ve dreamed of having you to myself” another harsh suck on the skin that made you whine. “How many nights I’ve touched myself thinking about having you even thought I knew you were with that creep”
“Wait” you managed to breathe the word as he kept attacking the sweet spot behind your ear. “Did you know who I was? And who Nico was?”
“I’ve been watching you for so long, yn. We have eyes and ears in those gates, don’t forget that”
“If was anyone else saying this I was going to call them creep but since it’s you I don’t give a single fuck” he kissed you again, smiling between the kiss and biting your lip.
“Good because I am about to give you more than a single fuck” you laughed at him, he hadn’t changed at all.
He finally moved you two to the bed, managing to make you fully naked on the way. You felt your body heating from the way he drank your form, biting his lip and looking like he was about to eat the most delicious meal of his life. You.
He gently laid you on your back and spread your legs open. He started kissing his way to your core, leaving the same love bites on your thighs that he left on your neck. You just threw your head back and enjoyed your touches. Ever so teasing, never really touching the center of your legs.
“Sannie~” you whined, desperate for some contact, some release.
“You want me to eat you out, munchkin?” You nodded eagerly, hand going to his head and trying to guide him but he held himself in place. “Use your words, let me hear you beg for me, let me hear you say the words I’ve dreamed of you saying to me” you writhed in frustration and shyness but you were so needy for him that you just had to say it.
“Please, Sannie. Please. Touch me. Use me. Eat me. Do whatever you want please, I need you”
“God, you’re way hotter than I thought” he gently slapped your clothed core, earning a surprised scream from you. “I’ll give you what you want, baby. Everything you wish” you nodded and he didn’t waste time before diving into your still clothed pussy.
He licked and rubbed on top of the material, the roughness of it deliciously helping with the friction you needed. You moaned without a care in the world. Your mind was full of San and only San. He pulled the underwear out of you, ripping the material, too bothered and eager to take it out of you. To say you weren’t turned on even more by the action was a lie. The way his muscles tensed and the veins popped when he pulled the fabric apart made you weak on the knees, imagining what he could do to you.
San went back to his position, hoisting your legs on his shoulders and finally touching his mouth straight on your slit. Your moan and his satisfied groan synced, your legs tried to close around his head but he held them open as he kept slurping at your wet vulva.
His mouth was definitely skilled, he knew just the right amount of pressure to put, where to tease. You were seeing stars with the way his mouth was devouring you. His tongue moved up and down from your clit to your hole, sucking and licking the engorged nub and prodding your entrance with his tip.
You were a moaning and writhing mess under him, hands not knowing where to go, if they pulled the sheets or his hair, if they intertwined your fingers with his or held your boobs. All you knew was that you never felt anything like that before. It was like San was a conductor and you were his sheet music. He knew all your notes.
But it wasn’t enough, not for him or for you, so he added his fingers to the game, wetting them on his lips and then your juices before slowly entering them inside you. Your walls hugged his big digits tight, and San felt his dick twitching imagining how it would feel around him.
“S-Sannie…” his name, mixed with your moans, was almost a mantra. Leaving your lips without even noticing.
“What is it, baby? Hm? Tell me. I can’t read your mind” he mocked and gave your clit a tiny gentle bite that almost made you cum, hips going up against his face. “Even tho’ I have a little idea of what there is inside of there”
“P-please… just… fuck! I need you, Sannie” he left his spot and hovered over you, face to face with you.
He kissed you and you could taste yourself on his lips, the bittersweetness of it was invading your senses alongside the musky scent of his sweat. If someone asked you what sex smelled like you’d say it was this.
“I really wanted to tease you right now but I am as needy as you so I’ll leave that for another time” he said while he left his spot on top of you to take his clothes off and just then you realized he was still fully clothed. “My dick will burst at any minute if I keep waiting”
“Then shut up just fuck me” you said before you could think properly, earning a chuckle from the man.
He positioned himself on top of you again, grabbed his cock and rubbed along your vulva, collecting as much of your wetness to help him in. He positioned the head on your hole and slowly pushed in, entering you.
You closed your eyes and opened your mouth, no sound leaving. You’ve dreamed and imagined of this moment your entire life. And now it was happening. You had San back into your life. He was real and alive and right there on top of you, taking his time not to hurt you.
San was not only taking his time not to hurt but not to cum right then and there. He also had dreamed for so long of fucking you that your warm walls hugging and welcoming him just like he was meant to be there were like a gunshot. Quick and sharp.
His hips were starting to go erratic within a short time. He knew he wouldn’t last much longer and he wanted to make sure you were going to cum as well, so he snaked his hand between your bodies and started to draw circle eights with the tip of his fingers on your clit, finding the bundle of nerves quite easily.
“Sannie…” you moaned his name, voice coming out way higher than usual, whining.
“Com’on baby, cum for me” San whispered on top of you, his own pleasure getting the best of him. “Fuck, yn! You’re so tight. I’m close too” he increased his speed, hips pistoning in an erratic manner, pleasure taking the best of you both.
“‘M coming” you managed to say before cumming around his cock. Squelching lewd noises of your juices wetting you even more filling up the room as he kept his movements.
It didn’t take much longer for him to cum too, pulling his dick from you and milking all over your belly, some of the gooey liquid falling on your chest.
San took some time to regain his breathing and cleaned you the best he could with some clean cloth he found in the bathroom of the room. He helped you to put back your underwear and put on his shirt, and laid with you on the bed. Your head resting on top of his chest and fingertips playing with his own.
“ I can’t believe this is all real” you broke the silence, taking a deep breath in and taking in his sweaty musky scent.
“Me neither” he confessed, eyes focused on the ceiling, thinking about so many things but at the same time only about you. “I don’t want to risk losing you. I can’t lose you”.
You turned your face to look at him, pulling his head down to focus on you. His eyes glassy, watery. He was allowing himself to be vulnerable in so many years.
“You won’t lose me. I’m right here. I’m not going anywhere” you caressed his face and he closed his eyes to enjoy the touch. “I’m all yours now. Forever”
“Forever” he kissed you one last time before falling asleep with you in his arms for the first day for the rest of your lives.

╭┈──── ◌ೄ◌ྀ ˊˎ YOUR FEET CARRY YOU hurriedly through the obscure alley, the only sounds that can be heard are your heavy breathing and harsh footsteps on the damp concrete below. Your heart pounds in your chest, feeling as if it might break through the cavity as adrenaline courses through your veins. It is the only thing that motivates you to keep going.
You were running for, what seemed to be, your life.
You wore a loose black tank top and a pair of maroon tights to match, feet sporting a pair of black shoes, and your hair was pulled back. It was not your ideal choice of clothing, but it was the only type that was flexible enough for you to move freely without getting in your way, and the dark shades and colors helped you blend in with the shadows of the night.
You nearly slip and fall as you come to a dead-end in the alley and let out a silent curse under your breath. You can hear movement behind you, growing closer quickly. You knew there were only a few seconds before he caught up and finished what he started. You were almost at the checkpoint, and then you’d be home free, safe from this maniac.
You need to act, or you’d be up shits creek without a paddle.
Your gaze scans the alley walls before locking it on a fire escape. Gritting Your teeth together, you bolt for the ladder and begin climbing with a speed you didn't know was possible for your small human form. Just as you reach the top few bars, a harsh 'thunk' echoes below on the fire escape, jarring the whole thing and sending a violent shake up the metal frame.
“Mother fucker,” You whisper, lighting a fire under your ass as you try to hurry the hell up before you get caught. You grip the rooftop's ledge, feeling the brick bite into your palms as you pull yourself up."Shit shit shit," You hiss.
 Almost there.
As you scramble over the ledge, your foot snags on the brick which prompts you to nearly fall. With the newfound reflexes you have earned over the past four months, you tuck and roll, jumping back to your feet as you proceed to run like Karen at a black Friday sale. Your steps never falter nor waver, even when you jump on an AC unit to climb up on a different building. Every move was timed and precise and you couldn’t help but feel pride in the fact you haven’t face-planted yet.
The sound of a low grunt came from behind you, the low growl that followed sent a shiver up your spine and caused gooseflesh to rise on your skin. He’s close! And with that thought in mind, you took a hard left, nearly at the checkpoint.
Finally, after what seems like forever, you fixate your gaze on a makeshift pole in the middle of a roof only feet away. It was adorned with a tattered red cloth that flapped in the night breeze, posing as a flag. You quickly run over, yanking the tiny red flag off the pole before you throw your arms in the air, letting out a loud 'hell yeah' as you dance around with the fabric in your hands.
You made it, nothing could stop you—
You were so focused on your celebration to notice the large figure that was moving toward you from the shadows. A rather loud gasp slips past your lips as something solid hits your shoulder, and muscular arms embrace your figure as you roll across the roof, eventually landing on the ground with a thud. The weight of the figure restrained you, locking your hips on the ground as your wrists were pinned together by large, calloused hands.
When you were finally flat on your back, arms pinned above your head. The expression on your face is as sharp as a knife, annoyance bubbling in the pits of your stomach as you glare up at the figure. "Dammit, Raphael! I fucking got the flag, you asshole!"
The corners of his mouth twitch into that familiar smirk as he stares down at you, his emerald eyes shining with amusement. "Sorry, Sweetheart, didn't see a flag."
And this is how the last four months were spent. You hated how weak you felt that day when Shredder nearly destroyed New York, and possibly the whole world. So, stupidly, you asked Master Splinter to train you — what you didn't expect was for the old rat to assign his second eldest son to train you himself. It made sense, Raphael was more versed in hand-in-hand combat with his itty-bitty forks, but he could be such an ass sometimes.
At first, it was terrible for you. For the first few weeks, you’d come home bruised and sore. April was always fussing over your well-being, saying you were too young to die. (a little dramatic even for you), But as time went on you started to grow stronger and more agile. You were juggling college and also made time to visit the brothers. To say Raphael wasn't impressed with your drive would be a lie.
You were determined, he'd give you that.
But on the days that you weren't training, you’d be in the lab with Donnie. The genius turtle was nice enough to help you study for your upcoming tests that would determine if you were ready to move on with your life and get the job you so longed for. You only had a few years of college left, and you were working hard, finally taking your life into your own hands and molding it into what you wanted.
"I still beat you this time — you didn't catch me." You panted as you wriggled in his firm grip.
He was holding you gently enough not to hurt your smaller wrists, but hard enough so you couldn’t escape.
Raph just stared down at you for a moment, his eyes taking in the bead of sweat that was forming on your neck and collarbone. Your hair now sticking out from your up-do in some spots, and your eyes, which usually held a storm, seemed to glow in the dark lighting around them. You weren't wearing your glasses, which was something he liked because it gave him a chance to see your beautiful eyes better.
You stare up at him, head tilting to the side as Raphael studies you silently. It was times like these when you wondered what he was thinking. This wasn't the first time he stared at you like that.
Another second passed, and that was when you realized his grip had been lost, so you took this as your chance to turn the tables. You knew you were too small to do any damage or cause much force for his hulking form, but if there was one thing Raphael made sure to teach you, it was obstructing your opponent's balance.
With as much strength as you can build up, you jerk your arms down, effectively knocking your elbows to his large knees. Raphael lets out a grunt of surprise as you thrust your hips up, causing him to fall forward from the unexpected move, his three-pronged hands snapping out to catch himself. During his shock at the fact, you somehow managed that, he feels two arms slip around his lower waist before you start to climb his body.
Just as Raph went to reposition himself, he felt you plant your feet on the ground between his legs, your smaller body still pressed against his plastron, before you kick your legs up and push off the ground with your dominate side, the sudden action causing him to lose balance and fall over.
Now straddling him, Raph had to take a moment to process what had just happened, not realizing all the training they had done had given you that much strength to be able to roll his bulking body. It was an obvious indicator that you’ve been holding back this week.
You lean closer to his face, a sly grin slipping on your lips as his eyes widen up at you. "Pinned ya," You quote, internally giggling at the thought of using a Lion King reference in this position.
Raphael felt like his heart was about to beat out of his chest at your proximity, and he was sure if you got any closer, you’d hear it. He opens and closes his mouth for a moment, unable to form a proper sentence as his heart thumped in his ears, blood rushing through his veins and causing him to grow hot. Before he could die from sheer embarrassment at the fact you had this effect over the tough-guy front he held, a loud beep came from his shell.
You took a moment to process he was now staring at you expectingly, and with a rushed apology, you climbed off and adjusted your take top that had risen. Raphael made you messy, and messy made things dangerous. It took a moment for you to settle your heart as you inhaled deeply, eyes drifting to the brute as he sat back up and pulled out his T-Phone.
Raphael stands as he clears his throat, eyes locked on the screen while typing a quick response to whoever texted him before looking back at you. Back was his usual confidence as a wolfish smirk twitched at the corner of his scarred lips, "Hey Doll, how 'bout we call it a night and head back to the lair?" He glances over your form as if he has no control over his own eyes. "Mikey got yer' favorite pizza,"
That last comment had your eyes rounding in delight, a grin forming on your face. "Pineapple?"
Raphael grimaces, "Yeah, Pineapple," The terrapin still couldn’t understand the thought of pineapple on pizza. It just didn't sound appetizing, though, he's never dared to try it.
You were now smiling so big, it made the skin on your face glow in the light from the moon, reflecting the soft light of the stars. It was like a heavenly vision of perfection. Raphael felt as though his brain short-circuited for a moment as you said, "You don't have to tell me twice,"
Raphael could only blink as you quickly ran off, heading to the ladder so you could indulge in your strange choice of Pizza.
Tumblr media
"Red, I don't understand why I have to wear this stupid thing just to get a slice of pizza." You complained about the millionth time since you entered the sewers, your nose scrunched underneath the stinky fabric of the pillowcase. You had only got to the fire escape before the bara of a turtle stopped you, claiming if you wanted to eat your lovely pizza, then you had to follow some rules.
Which was ridiculous, but you wanted that damn pizza, and you’d do anything for it. Food was the way to your heart.
Raph rolled his eyes, catching your shoulder when you almost tripped over your own feet. "Jus’ trust me," Is all he says.
Upon entering the lair, his green eyes lock on his three brothers. Donnie stands beside Leo, knowing grins on both of their faces while Mikey is practically buzzing on his feet, his lips rolling into his mouth as he tries to suppress the chortles that are building up. They all watch silently as Raphael escorts you across the lair before pulling you to an open door, and nudging you inside a room with his knuckles.
Raphael could feel the nerves start to web around his heart, turning his attention to his brothers as they entered the room with you both. He felt so out of his element here, never being the type of guy to give someone a surprise that he had worked so hard on. Raph’s eyes slowly drift to his older brother, looking for an out but was only met by an encouraging nod and knowing smirk from the leader as they locked eyes.
Shit. Raphael swallows thickly, his palms feeling sweaty as he reaches over and grabs the top of the pillowcase, pulling it off in one swift movement.
It takes a moment for Your eyes to adjust, but when they do, you instantly start scanning around, taking in the room as Mikey throws his arms in the air with a wide grin on his face, "Surprise, Babette!!"
Your mouth slacks in awe at the sight, forehead creasing in confusion as you turn to look up at Raphael. An anxious look is on his face as he stares down at you, watching your reaction, lips flat.
"I-Is this for me?"
The largest terrapin nods, "Yeah..."
You can’t believe what you were looking at. The room was a rather cute setup, which looked like an attempt at a teenage girl’s bedroom. There was a stack of box palettes in the corner of the room, multiple thick blankets folded as a makeshift mattress, and pillows neatly leaning against the concrete wall (which looked oddly similar to the ones back in your bedroom). A few other things, like your stuffies—fucking embarrassing—and your bean bag chair, you recognized.
They made a room for you, and you had the inkling idea that your sister helped.
You felt a smile on your lips, knowing the guys most likely took these things from the apartment to set this up, but you honestly didn't care. You were more touched by the fact that they took the time to even do this for you.
Your eyes followed Mikey as he rushed around the room, shell nearly knocking a few things over as he spun around to face you with his candid grin, his blue eyes twinkling.
"So whatcha think, Babe?"
You didn't know what to say, "You guys did this for me?"
Leo smirked across at Raph, who was seeming to have trouble answering for himself at the moment, to caught up in the endearing look on your face, "We helped, but it was mainly Raph who planned it, and April gave us the stuff –  We all agreed that since you spend most of your time here, you need a room of your own so you're not sleeping on the couch."
Raphael lets out a long breath that he didn’t know he was holding as he watches your face brighten with a smile. He tries to gather his bearings as you slowly turn your attention back to him, the smile on your lips only curving higher, and he feels like one of his Sia’ pierces his heart at the sudden ache of wanting to touch overwhelms him.
Leo shares a silent look with Donnie, jerking his chin toward the kitchen before motioning for Mikey to come with them, and the three leave to give you both some privacy. You pay no mind to their departure as you glance away and walk deeper into the room, your eyes wide as you take everything in. It honestly wasn't bad, and it was honestly way better than your room topside. You can’t stop the smile that continues to grow on your face.
Raphael, who tracks your every move, takes a seat on the bed carefully being mindful of his weight. His eyes watch as you pretty much touch everything, your expression looking like a kid shopping for candy. It isn't until your gaze locks on a movie that you snap out of your reverie state.
You snatch up the movie and turn to face him, holding it between your fingers as a smirk replaces your smile, "Batman?"
He gives you a crooked smirk, gaze playfully sharpening only a little. "I only watched it once,"
You let your eyes dance around the room for a second, a mock look of curiosity growing on your face, "Did you bring breath mints too?" You question, referring to your first encounter with the brute. That night you and April discovered their existence; not only did you make a jab at his breath, but you also said he sounded constipated when attempting the Batman voice. It was a moment that was forever burned in both of your memories.
A chuckle vibrates from his chest, "Shut up," His face shifts as he looks down.
You felt like a mess as you stood beside the shelf, the movie lying limp in your grasp as your heart went thump, thump, thump. All you could do was inhale through your nose as a new mood filled the atmosphere, and your heart started to insist on beating out of your chest the longer you stared at Raphael. He wasn’t looking at you anymore, his gaze finding his tattered shorts more interesting as he played with a drawstring that hung from the waistband. You made a mental note to get him some new clothes for his upcoming birthday.
Maybe it was the hit you took tonight, or the fact he had done something so, so sweet for you, but you couldn’t explain the feeling that suddenly takes hold of your body as your feet decide for you and begin moving in the terrapin's direction.
Being the observant ninja he is, Raphael quickly jerked his gaze upward upon hearing your light footsteps, his mask shifting as you came to a stop in front of him. If his heart was racing before, it was pounding now. With a soft smile, you reach a hand up, eyes searching his own for those walls he tended to build in moments of vulnerability. When you saw no indication of him doing such, you closed the gap and placed your hand on his cheek, your thumb softly rubbing the texture of his unique skin.
Raphael rarely showed his soft side around anyone, but it was times like these when he did, that you took advantage of it. Spending nearly every day with somebody for over four months, you end up learning a lot about them. Especially Raph, who could be really easy to read if you knew just what to look for.
At your touch, His eyes grow slightly hooded as he stares up at you, his breath catching in his throat as the muscles in his neck twitch, "Trouble…" His gravelly voice is surprisingly soft, softer than you’d ever heard from him before.
Raphael usually radiated power, his towering body just demanding attention as he walked into a room. Yet in this moment, all that exuding power was sucked dry the moment you touched him. This gives you the courage to lean in closer to him, gaze traveling over his face, taking in every scar and imperfection as you grow closer to him. You felt your heart rate spike when his eyes dropped to your lips and suddenly, they grew a shade darker, pupils dilating. His large hands slowly reach up and wrap around your waist, tugging your smaller figure closer to him.
The second he brought you closer, a small breathy sound came from your lips and your hands landed flat on the top part of his plastron. Raphael couldn’t help the deep rumble that vibrated out of his chest as your scent engulfed him, the vines of your favorite shampoo and body wash, mixed with the sweet sweat from your workout out was fogging his mind as it wrapped around and squeezed.
He felt the primal instinct to just reach up, bury his beak in the soft flesh of your neck and just taste.
Gripping the loose fabric of your tank top, he felt the tips of his fingers graze the soft skin just under the edge, and that feeling alone made his desires more severe. He licked his lips, intense gaze on your mouth as you mimicked his movement subconsciously. He smirked at that, realizing you were paying just as much attention to him as he was to you. Raphael was never good with his words, actions were more his way of expressing how he felt. That was why he made you a room, so you could have your own space, and maybe want to stick around longer (though you already practically lived there) he wanted you in the lair, so he knew you were safe from anything and everything. He was fucking crazy for you, and the thought made him tighten his hold around your waist as another churr vibrated from his chest.
Your body felt like it was on fire, a shiver going down your spine when you heard that deep rumble. What was that? You had thought when you heard it. None of the brothers had ever made a noise like that before, and you’d definitely be googling it, or asking Donnie about it later.
Even while standing, the hothead was an inch taller, his thick arms flexing as he all but pressed you against him, his legs spread and inviting you in. He hunched only a smidge, bulking form swallowing you as he dropped his snout to your neck as if he could no longer resist. You closed your eyes at the skin-to-skin contact, chills running through you as euphoria filled your brain. Was this what it was like to have him touch? Because if was, you’d get on your hands and knees, begging for him to do it again if that’s what it took.
“Raphael,” You whisper as you place a hand on the nape of his neck, your hands trailing his pebbled skin before stopping where his shell met his back. His body trembled at the touch to the sensitive skin. You crane your neck so he can have better access while he sniffs and nips at your soft skin. There was a tiny moan at the tip of your tongue when he trails up, leaning back just enough to hover his mouth over yours.
Raphael’s mind was reeling when he heard how you said his name in a breathless whisper, and he felt his tail twitch. The sight of your body pressed against him had a rough rumble coming from him once more, and the fact you were so small against his larger form didn’t help in the slightest. The size difference was blatantly obvious, yet somehow, you fit together perfectly.
Minds alike, they both want more. No. You both need more.
And just before your lips meet, a voice stops you both.
"Pizza's ready!"
Dammit Michelangelo.
You both instantly snap back into reality, and you nearly fall on your butt from how quickly you move away. Your mouth parts as you stare at Raphael, not knowing what to say or do at that moment. Your heart was pounding so strongly that you feared it would break your ribcage.
Raphael was your best friend, and you almost kissed him.
Rough features stared back at you, eyes slightly wide as he was unable to form words. He feared that he had just imagined it all. There was no way a girl like you would ever want to kiss a mutant like him, but as soon as a smile began to blossom on your face and you gave him a shy look followed by an amused giggle, he knew what just happened wasn't his imagination.
And so, he did what he always wanted to do from the first moment you opened that smartass mouth of yours and popped off.
In one swift movement, he was standing up and moving across the room toward you, his strong hands grabbing the sides of your face as he bent lower and crushed your lips together in a hungry kiss. You didn't hesitate to return the gesture. You slant your head as lips move quickly against his, hands falling onto the front of his hard plastron. You felt yourself move forward and step on his feet, leaning up on the tips of your toes, trying to deepen the kiss as his hands fell to your lower back, pulling you up.
Raphael began to walk you back wards and when your back touched the wall, that was when you snapped back to reality, and all movement seized as you slowly pulled your lips from his, eyes locking as chests rose and fell at a rapid pace.
Raphael stares down at you, one bulking arm bracing the wall beside your head as his eyes quickly scan your reaction, expecting to see regret and disgust pooling in those pretty eyes he had begun to love so much. Yet, as he stared at you, he realized you weren't looking at him like that at all, no, your eyes were clouded with what seemed to be admiration.
As if you could read his thoughts and hear all his insecurities, you reached up and ran your hands over his masked face, pulling him by the hanging tails to capture his lips in another kiss. This one is a lot softer than the first. And as you pull away again, three words leave your lips that sent his heart into a beating frenzy and made a toothy grin spread across his face.
"I love you,"

Clifton Urban Forest is a lush oasis amidst Karachi’s urban sprawl. Initiated on January 8, 2021, by Masood Lohar, the former head of UNDP-GEF SGP, from the platform of Sindh Radiant Organisation, this project aims at restoring the marine ecosystem which once adorned this stretch of the coast.
Today, after a little more than three years, it has flourished into a 220-acre haven of biodiversity and a beacon of hope for urban ecological renewal.
Tumblr media
Masood’s story on how it all started is one worth listening. It began in a small blue camper’s tent, surrounded by heaps of garbage that once blighted this area. The bad odour was almost unbearable, he told me. With relentless dedication, he and his team removed tonnes of waste, dug deep to cleanse the land and planted 700,000 trees comprising 101 species, including mangroves, water lilies and lotuses. He has demonstrated unwavering commitment to this urban forest, to the point that he now lives on-site to personally take care of the trees, direct the whole team and prevent the illicit sale of rare birds. This Herculean effort transformed a neglected dump into the largest biodiversity-rich hotspot in Pakistan, attracting both local and migratory wildlife.
Tumblr media
But Clifton Urban Forest’s impact extends far beyond flamingos. It hosts around 140 species of birds, including the black-tailed godwit and the Eurasian curlew, both internationally near-threatened species and the first-ever sighting of the crab plover in Pakistan. The forest’s dense foliage, teeming with insects, provides food for larger predators, creating a balanced ecosystem. This intricate web of life supports various species, from lizards and snakes to butterflies and honeybees, some of which are native and threatened species essential for pollination and ecosystem health.
Tumblr media
In the face of escalating heatwaves and declining urban air quality, the Clifton Urban Forest plays a critical role in mitigating the harsh effects of climate change. Urban forests are vital for reducing temperatures, improving air quality and providing mental health benefits. This green lung of Karachi not only sequesters carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, but also cools the surrounding areas, making life more bearable even in the hottest of the seasons.

Tossed Around Like Sea Glass (You Rounded Out My Edges)
or: Person A is about to move out of the house they grew up in. Before they leave, they call and invite Person B over so they can dig up the time capsule that they had buried in the backyard together when they were kids.
a parade of shoeless feet smack against hard concrete. the feet are covered in mosquito bites, crosses from fingernails in them (“if you put a cross through it,” hasan had said over light from a roaring fire, the flames lick at his face, “they stop itching.”) but if they bother the two, they show no signs of it.
“Last one to the lake has to look for the sticks tonight!”
Hasan is crouching, having just lifted a rock up in search of rollie pollies, his second favorite bug-waits until the moon is high in the sky and the mosquitos buzz by his ears to pull you by the hand, an old mason jar with knife holes at the top, to search for lightning bugs for you two to sleep with.
“no fair!”
but he’s off, long gone, laughing as the wind pulls at his hair-for a second he’s confident-before he always face plants down, trips over this feet-you aren’t sure if it’s on our purpose or not at this point, how you’ll hold his chin your palm as you check for injury, always kiss it better, how the pink rises in his cheeks after.
how he always insisted you two had a “perfect spot”; the back channel where the water was too low for boats and the fireflies danced above the water reading you both- how he’d light up with wide eyes when he saw them: “jackpot.”
You two orbit to each other, floating into each other, reaching out always pulled away-you’re always wishing to spend a second with him, in his hemisphere, where you can finally ease into him, lift the imaginary gun off his shoulders and leave it by the door where it stays.
you remember it clearly, maybe the most clear of everything:
a mop of unruly curled hair you imagine he spends the morning in front of the mirror, yanking and twisting at it, trying to finally get it to fall into place and not betray him. and if you’re lucky enough to get close to him, to be in his orbit-freckled cheeks with a constellation of freckles on them-you imagine if you get close enough to him you can trace the constellations-big dipper and little dipper, orion tucked carefully in a corner, hidden away
the voice in your head sounds strangely close to hasan’s voice. raises with the same inflection, low when it’s a shared secret between you two-you hope to ever lose it.
nights catching fireflies, sharing a too small beach towel on a slowly rotting pier, his hand outstretched at a never ending sky, his voice low as he talks about the stars, the myths that go with them-the way his voice drops when he gets excited, like he’s embarrassed for you to see this part of him.
time passes. slowly and quickly at the same time. hasan stays in the small town he always joked he was plagued with, could never shake, how his dad would always joke people were born here and died here, never stumbled here by accident, stuck here like some ancient curse.
when the house went for sale, you stayed behind as long as possible. not all by accident, not all because of these deadlines for work that made you want to pull at your hair, find any and all excuse. you do, for a long time.
finally, you stand in the too small cottage, all furniture gone and peeling paint, can hear the waves crash into the sand back, retreat back into the lake, a battle cry as they collide with the land again.
it’s too small without him.
the phone call was awkward. you spent a good amount of the time pacing on the hardwood floors, side stepping the pieces of floor you know creaked and groaned under your pressure.
“Hey uh-“ you shake your head as you talk, squeezing your eyes shut. it’s weird, introducing yourself to someone who use to be your person, your entire personality, always the two of you, a packaged deal, “look i’m-were moving and i wanted to know if you were up for one more adventure.”
he comes to the door a towering human that finally grew into his too big shoulders, how he’d trip over his feet when he ran, how he shoves his phone into his pocket, stands up a little straighter when he sees you, how he stutters out an introduction, like you don’t see his face behind your eyes every night when sleep is impossible.
you worry conversation will be awkward but it flows for long enough you have to have him remind you what he’s here for, the mission at hand as he leads with dragged feet to the side of the house, a comically small shovel in his hands.
he falls to his knees next to you as his hands break with the earth, clog under his fingernails as he unearths it:
“here we are.” he laughs, at how low it was buried, how heavy it is in his hands, how it lasted this long
he smacks the ground next to him and you immediately fall next to him, knees knocking against his-no longer scarred and bruised and scraped from childhood.
“here we are”.
it breaks with a pop, and he unearths the first, all photo of the two of you, his fingers doing bunny ears behind you, the sunburn on both of your cheeks.
“you still have that stupid fucking smile.” he laughs, flicking the photo over. yours and his initials are on it in the middle of a heart.
“and you still have those freckles.”
it comes out before you can stop it, but he hums lightly, pulls out a smaller mason jar with a laugh:
“still can’t believe we parted with this,” he sighs, “we were obsessed.”
he hands it over and you roll it between your palms: “the best nightlight there was.”
he pulls out a collection of rocks, the same kind you two would be knee deep in feeding cold water to collect, to share and trade between one another, how you’d slide them into his pocket before he left every night, like you hoped it would keep your memory there.
a handful of shoelaces, pop bottle caps, a barbie and a friendship bracelet, the string long broken and beads in a heap underneath it-
finally, a baggy of pressed flowers, how you’d collect them and shove them inbetween pages of books for him to find, how he’d always act irritated about it but you’d later find them on his desk, in his jean pockets.
it’s quiet for a second and you’re worried you’ll cry, that these memories and him again-will leave you, will be gone so soon, didn’t know you could be homesick for a person until right now.
hasan picks the mason jar up one more time, stained with fingerprints and cloudy from time and dirt:
“what’d you say?” he muses, “one last hunt? i bet i’m still the best at catching them.”
he stands, ignoring how his knees crack as he stands and how he holds his hand out, offering help as you let him pull you up:
“feels like some sort of unfair advantage,” you mumble, “the height difference alone.”
“sounds like someone’s still afraid of losing. cmon, i’ll let you keep ‘em in your flower box tonight.”
you remember the fights, the fingers poking at chests as you both argued who got possession of this nightlight that night, the rotating schedule you two argued about, finally came to terms with-how you noticed the slow progression-from the fireflies that you’d see every night with him, when they danced and weaved and flowed through your feet when he was there-how they disappeared when he was gone-how you haven’t slept good since.
“cmon.”
he unscrews the cap of the lid, hands it to you before he can overthink it he weaves his fingers through yours and gently pulls at you:
“i know the perfect spot.”

Second Half – strange orange adventure and swamp
Tumblr media
So, in weekend, in summer days, with my new pc, I have played in Half Life 2. And, in time of game release – I miss this game. So, now, I am chasing things I lost about theme of videogames. And, by the way, it looks it is not so bad. To skip something in the past. And, now, it is a very big interesting to everything! So, it is hard to say about certain release of Half Life 2. And, everything I heard about it. It is some talks. It is different with Half Life 1. And everything become more atmosphere to the game. So, first time to appear word - cinematic. Cinematic action. With staging. Graphics, of course, and game world are made very cool. Adventure to some strange world.
Tumblr media
It, for example, the way how I think about second Half Life. So, now, I play it personally. In steam there is a low price, when it is sales. And I make a collection already there. Second Half Life and two episodes. By the way, when you about in Steam second Half Life - also you will gain some Half Life 2 deathmatch and modification Lost Coast. It is very cool! Modification is not bad, as I heard. Maybe somebody even buy it as a standalone cd version in old days.
Tumblr media
Game starts with similar to first part interface. And such swamp or river is drawn with engine at the background. It is very beautiful. Almost like wallpapers.
Game starts with a moment, that player awaken from a sleep. In a metro wagon. Just like he was sleeping. And some locals told you – I have not see how you enter. And, I just, stand, you know, near. To make a feel, it is all right, nothing strange. So, I left the metro. And so strange world is before my eyes. Some soldier makes you not to pass some area. Danger place. So, indeed, second half life – goes like a cinema.
Tumblr media
So, some special man is meeting you here. And gives you understanding, that first expectations about dangerous place are right. Strange place. Strange station. Some soldiers. Some tv screen speaks with you. Looks like, human world is under control of some other creatures. Again, it is a feeling of something strange.
Tumblr media
But feelings are feelings. And it is already everything goes into chase. And it is time to run. By upstairs – to the roof. By the roof. And I am still running. To some other place, a place where somebody is waiting for me. Main hero – it is the same Gordon Freeman from the first part. Freeman has been met. And a little, he was introduced to the world, what is going on, a little. And it is a big world before your eyes, now. So strange. All the time, I have word strange, all the time. While I was playing Half Life 2. Game is feeling like adventure, also. Or travel. Or better say - a cinema. Just like, you are hero of a movie. It is interesting feeling.
Tumblr media
Maybe, it was already a time for game like Call of Duty. With cinematic theme and staging scenes. But it is not a cod game. And here we have its own cinema. Such orange. By gamma like forest such swamps lands. And such small city. Industrial.
Tumblr media
It has a very beautiful landscape. By the way, game looks amazing at modern hardware. It is very beautiful views. And city. And factory. Industrial places. It is beautifully made water. And deep into water. Beautiful – it is one more word, that you repeat during Half Life 2.
Tumblr media
It has lots of industrial locations. Buildings made of concrete, and some water storage. Metal constructions. A lot of places with swamp or river locations. Water is made very beautiful here. I`d even say, that second Half Life has a photorealistic graphics.
Tumblr media
And by the plot, we are all the time running. To some place. And it is also a dynamic of the process. It feels. Chase is going on. And from enemies it is some soldiers with gasmask. They look cool. And there are lots of them. And you run into them all the time. And it starts a crossfire. And robots with circle form are spying with you, they are like flying eye form. And they try to make you blind for some time. There is a well-known head crab, and this plants with going down from a height tongue. Such a long long tongue.  And as a rule, they are at some hidden places. Or in the dark. And they are lift you up and try to start to eat. Strange place it is!
Tumblr media
From a weapon, it is tire iron, and with a celebration event we receive it, with phrase – “You forget something”. There is a pistol. And automatic gun. Weapon is great here. Pistol and automatic gun feel different. And both of them are good. Pistol is one deal and automatic gun it is another deal. Some enemies, it is more easy to get with pistol. To aim and shoot. Some of them are better take with automatic weapon. For example, a group of soldiers. Automatic gun is fast weapon. And it uses ammo fast. So, it is not good to put into action with lonely enemies. Only with a group of enemies. And for rest of others, it is better to aim, and shoot, one by one, from a pistol.
Tumblr media
It is a beautiful views. And, I start even to think about to have a pack of photos from Half Life 2, collection of photos. Second Half Life gives a feel of a cinema, adventure, and, of course, action. It is a game in genre action. And there are ok of shooting here. Enemies are different.
And I remember a lot, a crossfire with soldiers with gasmask in a house. It looks cool. And when they are going down by a wire. To some concrete building. And it is also a water everywhere. And you. And they attack you. They run. They shoot. And it is better to have automatic gun for this case.
Tumblr media
And I was surprised, that you need to solve some puzzles here. And go next. To some place to rotate a tap, to some place to do something else. Interaction with objects. To take a barrel. To move it to the point.  To jump over. And go to some higher place.
Tumblr media
Most biggest impressions goes to graphics and cinematic style. Chase. Action in which you are running to some place. And such industrial views. Light and dark. At the factory, river, city. There is a feeling of a big world. And you are in a hurry. So, this is, I can say, it is a first impression out of Half Life 2.

Choosing the Best Concrete Batching Plant Manufacturer: Key Considerations
In the world of construction, concrete plays a pivotal role, and ensuring its consistent quality is critical to the success of any project. One of the most effective ways to maintain high-quality concrete is by choosing the right concrete batching plant. However, selecting a reliable manufacturer for the batching plant is just as important as the equipment itself. With several manufacturers available globally, the process of selecting one can be daunting. In this blog, we’ll guide you through the essential factors to consider when choosing the best concrete batching plant manufacturer.
1. Reputation and Track Record
A manufacturer’s reputation in the industry speaks volumes about the quality of their products and services. Look for manufacturers with a proven track record of providing durable, efficient, and reliable batching plants. You can gauge this by reading customer reviews, checking for testimonials from reputable contractors, or seeking recommendations from industry experts.
One prominent name that consistently stands out in this domain is Nilkanth Engineering Works, which has been manufacturing high-performance concrete batching plants for decades. Their reputation for producing robust and cost-effective solutions makes them a preferred choice for many.
2. Range of Products
A good manufacturer should offer a diverse range of batching plants to cater to different project sizes and specifications. Depending on your construction needs, you may require mobile or stationary batching plants, or even specific features like fully automated control systems.
Manufacturers that provide a variety of products often display a deeper understanding of the diverse needs of the construction industry. They should be able to customize batching plants based on your specific requirements, whether it’s for a small-scale residential project or a large-scale commercial venture.
3. Quality of Equipment
The quality of the batching plant itself is non-negotiable. High-quality materials, durable parts, and efficient performance are the hallmarks of a reliable batching plant. Opt for manufacturers that prioritize high-grade components like precision weighing systems, durable mixers, and advanced control systems.
Quality assurance certifications, such as ISO or CE, also indicate a manufacturer’s commitment to meeting international standards. Manufacturers like Nilkanth Engineering ensure their products meet or exceed industry benchmarks, guaranteeing long-term operational efficiency and minimized downtime.
4. Technology and Innovation
With construction technology evolving rapidly, it’s important to partner with manufacturers who are on the cutting edge of innovation. Look for manufacturers who integrate the latest advancements, such as automation, IoT-enabled monitoring systems, and energy-efficient designs in their batching plants.
These technologies can significantly improve the accuracy of mix designs, enhance productivity, and reduce operating costs. The ability to control and monitor your batching plant remotely, for instance, can save time and enhance the precision of your concrete production.
5. After-Sales Support and Service
After-sales support is a crucial factor when selecting a manufacturer. Even the best equipment requires maintenance and occasional troubleshooting, so it’s important to choose a manufacturer that offers excellent after-sales service. This includes quick availability of spare parts, responsive customer support, and technical assistance.
A manufacturer with a strong global or regional presence ensures that support is readily available whenever and wherever needed. Companies like Nilkanth Engineering provide extensive after-sales services, including on-site installation, maintenance training, and 24/7 technical support, ensuring that your operations run smoothly.
6. Customization Options
Every construction project has unique requirements, and sometimes, off-the-shelf batching plants may not meet specific needs. This is where customization becomes key. A flexible manufacturer will allow you to customize your batching plant in terms of design, capacity, or specific functionalities.
For instance, if you are working on a large-scale infrastructure project that requires different types of concrete mixes, your batching plant should be able to accommodate various mix designs without compromising efficiency. Manufacturers offering customizable solutions enable you to optimize productivity and meet your project’s exact specifications.
7. Cost and Budget Considerations
Price is often a major factor in the decision-making process. While it’s important to stick to your budget, choosing the cheapest option can sometimes be a false economy. Instead of focusing solely on upfront costs, consider the total cost of ownership, which includes operational efficiency, maintenance, and the lifespan of the equipment.
It’s worth investing in a high-quality batching plant that offers durability, energy efficiency, and low maintenance costs. Well-reputed manufacturers may have higher initial costs, but their products often provide better long-term value.
8. Compliance with Local Regulations
Depending on where your project is based, the concrete batching plant must meet local standards and regulations. This is especially critical in countries with strict environmental or construction standards. Ensure that the manufacturer is familiar with these regulations and can supply equipment that complies with them.
In countries like Kenya, South Africa, or India, various standards govern concrete batching and mixing, so partnering with a manufacturer like Nilkanth Engineering ensures that your equipment will meet all necessary compliance requirements.
9. Sustainability and Eco-Friendly Options
Sustainability is increasingly becoming a key factor in construction projects. If your project has environmental goals, it’s essential to work with a manufacturer that prioritizes eco-friendly solutions. This could mean reduced energy consumption, optimized water usage, or equipment designed to minimize waste and emissions.
Many leading manufacturers are now offering sustainable batching plants with energy-efficient designs and systems that minimize environmental impact. By choosing a manufacturer that shares your commitment to sustainability, you not only meet regulatory requirements but also reduce your project’s carbon footprint.
Conclusion
Selecting the best concrete batching plant manufacturer is a critical step toward ensuring the success of your construction project. By focusing on key factors such as reputation, product range, quality, technological advancements, and after-sales support, you can make an informed decision. Manufacturers like Nilkanth Engineering Works, with their proven expertise and commitment to innovation, provide the perfect combination of quality, reliability, and service.
By taking the time to evaluate your options carefully, you’ll be investing in the long-term success of your project, ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality concrete and seamless operations.

Tennessee's Hemp Derived Cannabinoid law gets bumped until October...
Dateline: 7-1-24
The deep heat here in Middle Tennessee continues to be quite fierce. So The Old Hemp Farmer is continuing to go with the Iced Indonesian coffee and frozen Costa Rican Cacao laced with Tennessee homegrown Cannabis extract which seems to take the edge off of the high temperatures. This morning, as we ease into the World of Cannabis, there are a couple things to pontificate on, first, we got our FBI reports (evidently Lee Crabtree and I aren’t criminals, which is nice to know) and so yours truly filled out our Tennessee Department of Agriculture Hemp license application and with a check sent out our application for yet another Hemp license. It’s hard to believe this Hemp license application is my 10th and Lee’s 9th. Speaking of which, this year’s Tennessee homegrown Cannabis crop is in the ground, with 95% of the work was done by the Cannabis Professional known as Lee Crabtree and he was generous enough to let The Old Hemp Farmer’s Wife to transplant as small group of Tennessee Volunteer aka Readyville God Bud that she can use for her topicals and a few batches of Hemp Pesto. TOHFW didn’t get to plant any Cannabis last year and she missed it, so did I. One of the reasons The Old Hemp Farmer got into Cannabis was to grow it. Reluctantly, I got bumped into marketing and sales, which was more important to Tennessee homegrown than yours truly working in the field. Also after 2021, quite frankly we no longer needed to grow hundreds and hundreds of pounds of high CBD Cannabis Flower. Ultimately though it doesn’t really matter much Cannabis we grow, we just love to grow the plant.
Which leaves me to the main topic at hand, today, July 1st 2024, was suppose to be when all aspects of Tennessee’s Hemp Derived Cannabinoid law - HB0403 were to be implemented and enforced. Well a funny thing happened, as the clock was starting to run out, the Tennessee Department of Agriculture and Department of Revenue decided to push back implementation and enforcement to October 1, 2024. There weren’t any concrete reasons given for this delay but one can imagine. As The Old Hemp Farmer has said from the get-go that trying to ride herd on over 2,500 Cannabis businesses (half of which are off the TDA grid) in the state of Tennessee was going to be like pushing a boulder up the side of mountain. And finally when October 1st does arrive, how will enforcement proceed? When will the TDA start testing products and how long will it take? Will there be roving groups of agents from Tennessee Department of Agricultural Cannabis division that will “en masse” start raiding stores that sell Cannabis products? And once Cannabis the TDA folks do start checking out stores, how will that work? Will they simply take stock of inventory or will there be in store judgements on products and if deemed illegal will that warrant the TDA or TBI to execute an on the spot confiscation of a stores inventory? If so, what recourse will Cannabis business owners have to challenge any rulings? Realistically, if the testing lab at the TDA has to do literally hundreds and hundreds of tests, what will be the reliability of those tests? It would be brutal to find out that your Cannabis products were confiscated and destroyed because of a misplaced decimal point. Trust me, it happens, after 10 years of reading COAs, labs occasionally make mistakes. Meanwhile until October 1st, the Cannabis professionals in Tennessee are in a kind of limbo, not knowing what exactly is going on and wondering if the implementation of HB0403 will be pushed back again? Anyway as always, Hemp Dawgs and Hemp Puppies keep one eye on the weather and the other eye on the market.

Introduction
Creating a serene and aesthetically pleasing outdoor space is a dream for many homeowners. Whether you have a sprawling garden or a cozy backyard, the addition of Outdoor fountains can significantly enhance the ambiance. At Water Fountain Sale, we understand the transformative power of a well-designed fountain, and we’re here to help you choose the perfect one to suit your space.
Tumblr media
Why Choose Outdoor Water Fountains?
Aesthetic Appeal
Outdoor water fountains serve as striking focal points that can elevate the visual appeal of any garden or patio. They come in various styles, from classic tiered designs to modern geometric shapes, ensuring there’s a perfect match for every taste and landscape. The gentle flow of water creates a dynamic and lively environment, drawing the eye and providing a visual centerpiece.
Soothing Sounds
One of the most significant benefits of installing an outdoor water fountain is the soothing sound of flowing water. This natural soundtrack can mask unwanted noise from traffic or neighbors, creating a peaceful retreat in your own backyard. The calming effect of water sounds is well-documented, reducing stress and promoting relaxation.
Wildlife Attraction
Outdoor water fountains can attract a variety of wildlife, such as birds, butterflies, and small animals, adding another layer of beauty to your garden. Birds, in particular, are drawn to water sources for drinking and bathing, making your garden a lively and engaging place for nature enthusiasts.
Humidity Regulation
In dry climates, the presence of a water feature can help regulate the humidity in your garden, providing a more hospitable environment for plants and animals. This can be particularly beneficial for delicate or moisture-loving plants that might struggle in arid conditions.
Types of Outdoor Water Fountains
At Water Fountain Sale, we offer a diverse range of outdoor water fountains to suit any garden style and personal preference.
Tumblr media
Tiered Fountains
Tiered fountains are a classic choice, often seen in formal gardens and public parks. These fountains feature multiple levels from which water cascades down, creating a dramatic and visually appealing effect. They are available in various materials, including stone, concrete, and fiberglass, each offering a distinct look and feel.
Wall Fountains
Wall fountains are an excellent option for smaller gardens or patios where space is at a premium. These fountains are mounted against a wall, making efficient use of vertical space while still providing the calming benefits of flowing water. They come in a range of styles, from rustic to contemporary, and can be made from materials like copper, ceramic, or stone.
Self-Contained Fountains
For those seeking an easy-to-install and maintain option, self-contained fountains are ideal. These fountains come as a single unit, with the water reservoir and pump built into the base. They are typically smaller and can be placed almost anywhere, making them a versatile choice for any garden layout.
Pond Fountains
Pond fountains are designed to be placed in existing ponds, adding movement and aeration to the water. These fountains can be as simple as a single jet of water or as elaborate as a multi-tiered display. They are particularly effective in large gardens or park-like settings, where they can create a grand and impressive feature.
Choosing the Right Fountain for Your Space
Selecting the perfect outdoor water fountain involves considering several factors:
Size and Scale
Ensure the fountain you choose is proportionate to the size of your garden. A large, elaborate fountain might overwhelm a small space, while a tiny fountain could get lost in a vast garden. Measure your space and choose accordingly to achieve a balanced look.
Style and Design
Your fountain should complement the existing design elements of your garden. If you have a modern, minimalist garden, opt for a sleek, contemporary fountain. Conversely, if your garden has a more traditional or rustic feel, a classic tiered or stone fountain might be more appropriate.
Maintenance Requirements
Consider the maintenance involved with each type of fountain. Some materials, like stone and concrete, are more durable and require less upkeep, while others, like copper, might need regular cleaning and care to maintain their appearance.
Installation and Maintenance Tips
Proper Placement
Choose a location that maximizes the visual and auditory impact of your fountain. Placing it near a seating area or garden path ensures it can be enjoyed frequently. Avoid placing fountains under trees where falling leaves can clog the pump.
Regular Cleaning
Keep your fountain looking its best by cleaning it regularly. Remove debris and algae build-up from the water basin and check the pump to ensure it’s functioning correctly. Using distilled water can also help prevent mineral deposits from forming.
Winter Care
In colder climates, it’s essential to winterize your fountain to prevent damage from freezing temperatures. Drain the water and store the pump indoors, or use a fountain cover to protect it during the winter months.
Conclusion
Adding an outdoor water fountain to your garden is a surefire way to enhance its beauty, create a tranquil atmosphere, and attract wildlife. At Water Fountain Sale, we offer a wide selection of fountains to suit any style and budget. Visit our website or showroom to explore our range and find the perfect outdoor water fountain for your garden. Transform your outdoor space into a serene retreat with a stunning water feature today!
