Her eyes widened at the sight of the stranger, giving her a gift. She smiled a bit shyly, as she did around strangers, and began to laugh a bit when he started singing. "Thank you...? What's your name?"

His subconscious rang in time with his alarm clock and lazily he sat up in bed, rubbing the sleepiness from his eyes before tossing his legs over the side. Just past midnight, he noted, glancing at the tattered watch that classed his wrist. He quickly washed his face, fixed his hair and threw on a hoodie before exiting the dorm to do his preassigned prefect patrol.

The wind was cold as it bit past his cheeks and he pulled the hood over his ears, blocking it. Another lingering glance up the hall confirmed that there were no students hiding along it so he turned into another, walking slowly along the stone. He hadn't even noticed the slightly ajar door until he could hear a voice flush out. 

He turned and looked over his shoulder slowly, his interested piqued at what could potentially be there. He pushed the door open slightly, an indifferent expression accompanying the emotion drained from his tone. "It's after curfew, you shouldn't be here" He took a few steps towards the female who sat, cross-legged before a large mirror, completely engrossed in her reflection.
