Tommy’s character arc on this show has become so meaningful and im pretty amazed and how they were able to turn bits and pieces of dialogue and action throughout his time on the show into something so complex and powerful. This person who was in survival mode in a line of work that can be so isolating. Someone who did everything to fit in, maybe hurting others in the process. Then we see that barrier slowly but surely come down until he’s there for his team, his friends and eventually himself. Someone so internally and externally isolated turned to someone so confident and sure of who he is. This person who can open his arms with empathy and care and kindness to someone else who just crawled out of an ever-present fog and is finally breathing fresh air. Tommy represents the hope of loving loud-loving yourself, those around you, the things you do and the difference that makes. I can confidently say there are a couple of obliviots who need that window of hope. Yes the Buckley-Diaz family will always be my endgame but right now Tommy is unbelievably important to their story, and no not just for Buck. He’s Eddie’s reflection. I do not want canon Buddie to be rushed. It becomes a cop out, and erases 5 years of such incredible development. Let them unravel a bit first. No cheating istfg. Appreciate the “oh” moments, and the obliviot moments, and let Buck have Tommy for now. Its sweet. It is going to make it so worth the wait. When Buck is happy for once and realizes he’s actually happiest with someone else who may or may not have been in front of his face for several years. SLOWBURNS ARE ELITE OKAY? I am going to enjoy the buddie angst and Tommy’s flirty bullying. Also… representation matters,, not just to us but maybe to a certain gay firefighter who is about to watch his best friend be happy with another man. That thats a possibility, and its okay.

(???) anyway then you keep telling your boss that you’re SOOO in love with this girl you’re gonna stop her arranged marriage she’s going along with… and your boss is like cool good luck! have fun! best wishes! and disappears off the face of the earth. causing you to have severe obsessive depression about it. meanwhile literally everyone (and I do mean everyone) from The Girl You Like to Every Customer of The Store to Random Person On the Street is like OBVIOUSLY HE’S IN LOVE WITH YOU and OBVIOUSLY YOU’RE IN LOVE WITH HIM. and you’re like naur.... couldn’t be. doesn’t compute. I like that girl, right? what is love anyway? anyway then the girl you like comes out as aroace to you and you go off and pretend to be your boss’ fiance in order to foil an extremely elaborate racist inheritance scheme. and then you are prepared to go to prison FOR LIFE just to protect your boss’ happiness.... then you basically exchange rings… and keep flirting with each other daily… anyway then you go back to japan and the absolute FARCE of this all is you and your boss both think neither of you is in love with the other. I (and every other secondary character in this story) want to kill myself btw

Teen Wolf is the type of show that I loved to death as a teenager but makes me cringe a little now…but I will forever be grateful for it ‘cause the music that I discovered through Teen Wolf to this day remains unbeaten!!!

I still unapologetically love teen wolf and will preach on S3 being genuinely good television, but yeah, every time I watch back anything in season one it’s a jumpscare. That was peak cringe. It’s so embarrassing when you recommend it to someone and then have to explain dhwnwnwnee.

Absolutely in love with that moment where a character goes “I could be in love with you very easily.” I LOVE IT, okay, because it’s like,, this moment where someone actually stops and makes falling in love a choice, like they realize the direction that they’re headed in and decide that they like it, that yes this is a person they would like to be in love with, so this is allowed to happen actually.

Give me this realization in soft moments between good friends. Give me this realization in intense moments between people who are no longer quite enemies, but aren’t sure what they are. Give me this realization with a tinge of panic, because it would be so easy to fall in love with them, and they don’t actually want to want this, but they do. I want all the variations of this, please and thank you

way down we go: an absolute classic. werewolf harry, chronically ill utterly miserable draco, post-war in small town america. enemies to lovers slowburn with protective harry and hopelessly gay draco.

in hopes that you may drown: SO much of my art is based on this author's harry and draco. such a lovely fic. post-war, draco raising delphi and absolutely perfecting the stressed yoga mom vibe. harry is instantly smitten.

in our blood: about haunted houses, parenthood and growing to care for each other. I love this one.

you'll still find stone: arranged marriage. draco expects the worst and harry is an absolute sweetheart. angst but so heartwarming. (mind the tags!!)

ANYTHING by corvetteclaire! their blood link and in the mirror series are severely underrated and genuinely took my breath away. some of my favorite writing and plots.

inside grey eyes: so so beautiful. quite dark and yet exceptionally hopeful. all about draco's recovery from a nightmare situation and harry's unending support. (mind the tags!!)

anything by tessa crowley!! an absolute gem in the fandom with an impressive variety of works.

one elephant at a time (ongoing): i recommend this fic to EVERYONE. genuinely incredible. think yellow wallpaper, jane eyre, crush by richard siken, and the author mentions being inspired by my dark vanessa as well. so essentially a modern romance with a dark gothic backstory. every single sentence in this fic stands out to me. every characterization, every conversation, is just so honest and genuine. also!! draco has a cat called lady di!! and he loves to wear earrings! (mind the tags!!)

within the hollow crown: more of pre-drarry tbh. such an interesting plot!! harry grudgingly cares for an increasingly spiraling draco who is except under close and constant watch by the dark lord-every second of his sixth year. currently has an ongoing sequel.

imperfection (ongoing): another fic by robin! and another of my all time favorites, so so lovingly written and so tragic and lovely and heartbreaking. really digs into draco's psych and his manic mindset and constant spiral BUT there is light at the end of the tunnel and so much love surrounding him even though it's hard for him to see it. (mind the tags!!)

saviour series (ongoing): wouldn't necessarily call this drarry? more of a stockholm syndrome gothic novel type of fic but i recommend it all the same. the writing is truly extraordinary and the pacing is incredible. will leave you breathless. part one is complete. (mind the tags!!)

perspective series (ongoing): the original books with alpha harry, omega draco in gryffindor, and an adorable friendship dynamic between the golden trio and draco. really sweet, and super interesting. no romance as of yet but there are little moments.

tales of the potters: very interesting take on the arranged marriage trope! i recommend all of this author's works; they have a gorgeous way with words and their work really brings harry and draco to life.

the veiled boy (ongoing): one of the most intriguing recent fics i've read. really delves into character dynamics in such a realistic and refreshing way and draco is so endearing in it. every chapter has gorgeous illustrations.

never in extremity: reread this one recently. equal parts heartbreaking and heartwarming. (mind the tags!!)

saw speak no evil last night, which i really enjoyed! it proved to be my very favorite kind of stressful movie, i.e. a slowburn thriller where people go to a beautiful and remote location and then Things Go So Wrong! it reminded me a lot of other faves ex machina, men, 10 cloverfield lane, the menu, ready or not, the recent blink twice, etc.

just some thoughts about this movie (spoilers!)--

+ i really enjoyed all the gender role stuff going on in this one a whole bunch. this is, of course, a classic gothic romp in my eyes. therefore, watching the dad -- down on his luck, feeling emasculated by his female family and by life not favoring him as much as it was supposed to! -- get seduced by the alpha male andrew tate-y bs embodied by james mcavoy's character, like the dad was but a shrinking naive gothic heroine missing or even lusting after all the red flags, was SUCH a fun subversion to me. yes! yes!!!

+ every time that mackenzie davis's character tried to establish boundaries and they got run over and then she let it slide to be palatable, i viscerally FELT THAT. there was, of course, a big element of 'privileged people wanting to appear woke so they keep being boundlessly pityingly nice to the poor people', but even deeper than that, i think this was a great portrayal of how women in particular are expected to constantly accommodate and ignore their intuition. the bit with making her eat the goose. D: and it got worse!

+ i also really liked how in the big showdown, the mom and the kids were the ones who actually took out the enemies, and the dad was the only one without a 'kill' to his name. (though he did sacrifice himself by jumping off the roof, mirroring Accomplice Wife's self-sacrificial death!)

+ gosh, the dark implications re: Accomplice Wife's character were so harrowing - the victim becoming the abuser - and the fact that the little girl was being primed to follow in her footsteps ..... D:

+ i enjoyed that the kids were the ones who had the sort of Big Finding Bluebeard's Closet Of Dead Wives Reveal. (my bf pointed out that this is a bluebeard story, and it so is! my favorite!) that sort of ASOUE-y feeling of kids having to make it on their own because adults aren't a guaranteed source of safety. MAN, poor ant. :'( that kid had a HORRIBLE time. i really admire his persistence in keeping on fighting and trying to communicate.

+ i saw someone in the reddit discussion thread say that couple vs. couple is an underrated trope, and i agree! would love to see more of that in cinema.

+ love how the title operates both on the level of "this kid can speak no evil about what we do because we cut his tongue out" AND "don't ever say anything mean to people or you might hurt their feelings and what could possibly be worse than that (oh, this, i guess) 😬"

+ can't believe they did nick miller's favorite song cotton eyed joe so dirty like that. :( that scene honestly brought tears to my eyes from pure misery. the fact that some parents really do treat their kids like that ...................... (even if that wound up not being totally the situation in this particular movie). disgusting and heartbreaking.

+ the most a+ "eternal flame" use since gilmore girls.

+ after i watched the movie i read up on what the original film was like, and may i just say: that would have broken me psychologically in the movie theatre. thank god i didn't have to see that. THANK GOD! sometimes american optimism really works for me, honestly. if it's a gothic, then in the gothic, they've always got to make it out at the end!!! bruised and bloodied and haunted but still standing! so i'm really glad they did!

+ it honestly never occurred to me that people would thirst over james mcavoy in this movie, because he's so gross and horrible, but it takes all sorts to make a world, it turns out. the internet teaches me that every day!

+ anyway, i had a great time watching this! would definitely watch again! but gosh, was it a special kind of fun and stressful to watch it unfold the first time.

First off-- I'm a HUGE fan of your writing, you have no idea how stoked I am for the next installment of A Patchwork Family. I was never a fan of severitus before I came across your fic by chance but your writing is so good it turned me onto it.

I was wondering if you had any severitus fic recs? I saw you post something about crime and punishment and gave that one a read (SO good), and since it seems you have incredible taste to go along with your incredible writing skills I was hoping you could help me out 💚

Thank you very much for the question! I actually have a ton of fic recs for Severitus, and I've been meaning to make a list for a while, so in no particular order here it is!

1. A Year Like None Other by aspeninthesunlight

This fic is also very special to me, and directly inspired A Patchwork Family. Snape ends up adopting Harry and Draco during their sixth year. It was written before the sixth and seventh books even came out, so there's a very fascinating plot!

2. To Trust by Clairdeloon

This one has a runaway Harry being sent to live with Snape after the Dursleys die before his first year. If you like angst this is the one to go for; it hurts so much but it's so worth it.

3. Time Left Today by gzdacs

After the situation with Quirrell, Harry is wanted by the Ministry for questioning. Snape is forced to transport him across Europe to hide him (with things progressively going more and more wrong!). Very enjoyable fic

4. Tension's Empathy: The Wanderers Curse by yarrowmirth

Another "Harry and Snape on the run" one, set after fifth year. I particularly enjoy how long it takes Snape and Harry to warm up to each other! It's also criminally underrated. I check so often for updates you have no idea

5. Grease & Lightning by Mothboss

Would highly recommend this and its sequel, Acid Reigns. Features Snape semi-accidentally acquiring eight-year-old Harry(with some of the best, age-accurate writing of a child I've ever seen). He takes on a protective big brother role and it's so perfect! Acid Reigns also uploads every Tuesday without fail, which I always look forward to

6. obscured by illisius

A recent fic discovery for me, where Obscurial Harry is sorted into Slytherin and Snape has to help him. I am rarely in this much pain when reading a fic, oh my god. The ANGST. It's just so perfect, and I'm so excited to see what's coming next for the universe!

7. The Potions Master and his Golden Boy by HazelEyes25

If you like your Severitus slowburn, this is the one. During Harry's second year, Snape slowly goes from Harry's mentor figure to guardian. It's full of lots of nice hurt/comfort!

8. aim & ignite by shostakobitch

The only biological father Severitus on this list, and HEAR ME OUT! Because if Snape turned out to be Harry's biological parent, this is EXACTLY how it would have gone down. Snape is perfectly canon; he is the horrible, snarky and cruel man from book canon even as he learns how to be a caring man to his child. Such a hard balance to strike, but it is done PERFECTLY. It also features Girl!Harry which I very rarely see in Severitus. With the beautiful prose thrown in on top, all I can do is beg you all to give this a go! So worth a read!!

9. O Mine Enemy by KirbyLane

This is a classic! I've not read it in a while and it's next on my reread list. Again, very good characterisation. Both Harry and Severus feel very human. Takes place during fifth year, and switches up canon a bit which I always like!

10. Crime and Punishment by Melolcatsi

Just in case anyone else didn't see the Crime and Punishment rec, I want to still put it here. This is one of the first Severitus fics I ever read, and it's so very special to me! Harry gets sent to live with Snape in the summer after fourth year when he is falsely accused of stealing. Snape's characterisation in particular is stunning

and then the fact that totos wife is like nah they’re actually besties. they’re so fucking goofy.

for those who don’t know, christian horner is the red bull racing f1 team principle. he’s incredibly disney villain and married to ginger spice. toto wolff the the team principle for mercedes. he’s obsessed with pumpernickel and looks like he could have been a Disney villain but the wires got crossed somewhere. they Hate eachother because mercedes was on a winning streak and then redbull came and ruined their winning streak and now mercedes can’t make a car that goes fast. there’s also this great scene where horner tells toto “if you’ve got a problem change you’re fucking car” and i don’t have the link to that particular moment right now but someone please reblog with it.

the best way i can describe this fic is that it drove an iron stake through my heart multiple times, pulled it out, then delicately rearranged the pieces and stitched it back together with gentle fingers. take it how you will but after a certain chapter i stopped reading it bc it was too painful, and then came back two months later to finish it off AND I AM SO GLAD I DID.

Gregbadd is unironically so fucking underrated, they have the ultimate tragic love story contained in one single year of time!! they meet on the case that ultimately kills Gregory, and they try and solve it together. they have nights where they just sit and have coffee and look over files to find anything in silence, they meet at coffee shops to talk, they see eachother at work and do other cases all the while they have this underlying goal to work towards together,,,, fuck the 7yg (jkjk i love the 7yg i just am insnae about these two) we have the one year of time to build a relationship! we have a slowburn with a set in stone ending that is tragic! They're doomed by the narrative!! they're right there guys! there's so much to work with and so many stupid things that could happen and it's underrated and not talked about enough!!!!

i just think a fic where they're just sitting in Gregory's backyard at night and talking about how difficult it is for both of them, just talking about life and their histories and stupid stories together while Miles is asleep upstairs is just. needed. I'm going to write it I swear to God

Why do you write Steddie?

For me, Steddie hits that sweet spot of strong characterization but woefully underexplored details, both for the individual characters but also their dynamic with each other in canon. That makes their relationship the ideal writer's sandbox - since they're both so fluid, you can explore the characters through each other, showcasing many different and even conflicting facets of each other while still retaining their original characters and behaviors. Either of them can be rich or poor, famous or an everyguy, Gay or Bisexual, Dom or Sub, Top or Bottom, Trans in any direction - the details are up to you! 

What’s your favorite trope to READ?

I love a good slowburn friends-to-lovers fic. It needs to be a specific kind for me though - I'm not much one for prolonged pining, but I love it when the friendship is explored in such depth that the next step feels like an inevitability. Watching that deep platonic affection turn not-so-platonic, that's the good shit. 

What’s your favorite trope to WRITE?

My specialty as a writer, I think, is crack treated seriously, or crack with a twist. Usually the first question that sparks one of my fics is “If X happened, would that be hilarious or what?” and then the second is “But if it was because of Y, would that be fucked up or what?” I think you can see it best in If you were church I'd get on my knees (what if Steve was a stripper at Eddie's stag party BUT it was actually a social commentary on queerness and sexuality in the face of religious oppression), but it's in At a medium pace too (what if Eddie couldn't move his arms because of injury so Steve “has” to jerk him off, but it's actually about how growing up queer can warp your perspective on healthy sexuality) , or even in Don't look back (What if Eddie had to dom Steve for plot reasons, but it's all body horror and trauma and spiraling codependency). 

What’s your favorite Steddie fic?

I don’t think I could name one all-time favorite, because what I enjoy most about fanfic is that different writers bring different character interpretations, storytelling styles and plot ideas to the table, which I find incomparable. I have enjoyed many of the well-known classics, of course (pukner I owe you my life--), but let me use this chance to give a shout-out to some less well-known masterpieces! My top three underrated fics are Three Days on the Red Planet by CaptainHoney/@grandmastattoo on tumblr (retro scifi, gritty but humorous hopepunk, every single fic of theirs is a certified banger but I love this one the most for some reason!!), Love dirty men alike by wrenowich (chef au, an ode to kitchen culture in all its griminess, I love a detailed backstory plus Steddie being wonderfully weird about each other), and That’s just wasteland, baby! by fastcardotmp3 (post-s4 apocalypse survival, sweet and aching and tired and yet hopeful, made me cry in the best way). 

Is there a trope you’re excited to explore in a future work but haven’t yet?

One that's pretty unique to the steddie fandom, or perhaps general stranger things fandom, is “if canon event x had happened differently/hadn't happened at all/had happened to a different person, how would the rest of canon change?” I still need to work out a lot of details in my head, so that's all I'll say for now, but it's something I'm very interested in exploring.

What is your writing process like?

Much to the horror of fic writers everywhere, I don't do first drafts, I just write out everything in detail, scene by scene in chronological order. I edit as I go, and consider the many-numbered, often unplanned writing breaks an important part of my process - when I let the written portion sit for a while and the unwritten ideas percolate in my brain for a bit, I often end up with new plot points or solutions for problems I've been having! And when that inspiration strikes, I can write anywhere - on the train, during lunch break at work, in the vegetable aisle of the grocery store… I have gdocs on my phone and I use it liberally; I'd say I write at least 80% of any given fic on my phone. 

Do you have any writing quirks?

Apart from the hot mess I just described, I'd say it's that I never use Beta readers. I'll occasionally ask friends to help with specific details if I need an expert on certain subject matter, but I've found I get very grumpy and fussy if someone pokes at my plot (even if or rather especially if they’re right lol), and I don't want to subject anyone to that. 

Do you prefer posting when you’ve finished writing or on a schedule?

For oneshots or series comprised of single-chapter fics I like posting as soon as I'm done, but for multi-chapter works I've recently found that starting to post only after I've finished most (if not all) chapters beforehand improves the quality of the story! Since I tend to integrate new ideas or shift around plot points a lot while writing, I often end up in completely different places than my original concept, so if an early chapter isn't posted yet I can retroactively edit it to add foreshadowing or tone-match the end of the work, remove loose threads and suchlike. Don't look back is a good example of how this has worked out for me; comparatively It don't bite (Yes it do) - which I wrote and posted chapter by chapter - is tonally all over the place. 

Which fic are you most proud of?

Naturally I love all my babies, but I consider Don't look back my magnum opus - both because it is the longest fic I've ever written (13 chapters and 90.000 words in total, that's practically a novel!) and because it's the most plot-rich, labor-intensive, and overall serious in tone. I even worked in subplots about the rest of the cast, so it almost reads like its own season. I wrote it for last year's Steddie Bigbang, which means there's also a gorgeous accompanying artwork by @the-chilly-kat. 

How did you get the idea for With great power?

At the time I'd seen a few marvel AUs floating past me on the tumblr timeline, usually with Steve as Spiderman and Eddie as the human component of Venom, and having just recently seen the Venom movie depicting the rich relationship between Eddie Brock and the symbiote, it surprised me that most left the symbiote as its own character, and not substituted one of the ST main cast. The symbiotic relationship of Stobin immediately came to mind, though I also still loved the idea of Steve as Spidey - then I remembered that in the Toby McGuire movies, the two are not mutually exclusive, and it all spiraled from there. Eddie as Deadpool just made sense - immortal wild-card with a dubious moral code but a heart of gold? Obviously! Plus Spideypool is, of course, a classic ship. 

When writing With great power, what was something you didn’t expect?

I actually got several curious comments about the sex toy Steve uses in Because the night - a grindable or grinder, which is a flat-ish silicone structure, usually ribbed in an interesting way, that one can grind against to get off (as the name suggests). I thought it was pretty common, but apparently it's not very well known!

What inspired  RUSH! (T4T REMIX)?

Oh, it's my time to gush! Because the idea for the first work actually came about from a late night conversation I had with the beautiful, amazing, wonderful @maikaartwork, back when we were, how should I say, in the courting stage? Seeing as we met through the Steddie fandom, I decided to write Baby Said basically to seduce them - and I am happy to say it worked, as we've been dating for over eight months now and are planning to move in together next year! Both works from RUSH! - T4T REMIX (and the secret new WIP, shh) are thus somewhat inspired by our conversations and our t4t relationship, but also by the many interesting and different trans people I've met over the years, and trans solidarity and relationships in general.

What was your favorite part to write from At a medium pace?

The small-talk in between position changes - no, really! I love a mindless marathon-fuck story as much as the next person, but there's something very sweet and intimate about those little breaks in sex, the pass the lube, move your leg a bit, what's for dinner later of it all. That's where you see that emotional connection - there's no admission of crushes or big love confessions in this fic because it's right there in the details.

How do/did you feel writing RUSH! (T4T REMIX)?

Honestly, it's just really really fun and self-indulgent. The Steddie dynamic in it is so bitchy, all the bickering makes me laugh even as I'm writing it. It's also just really fun to write about the trans experience in a way that is curious and loving, and reflects all the very different and yet similar ways people experience living in a body that defies expectation. I've loved all my fellow trans people sounding off in the comments about their own transition experiences, it's wonderful to have such a fantastic community!

What was the most difficult part of writing If you were church (I'd get on my knees)?

Curiously enough, not the many religious trauma bits! Much like Eddie in the fic, I'm only church-freak adjacent - I grew up in a non-religious household but with extended family that were extremely catholic, so the odd juxtaposition of being occasionally close to but definitely not involved in what is pretty much cult behavior inspired much of this fic. The most functionally difficult part to write was actually the wedding - as an aro-spec & trans relationship anarchist, church weddings have never been relevant to me, so I had very little idea what actually goes into one! Very little of the research I conducted on the topic actually made it into the fic, but hey, the more you know. 

Do you have a favorite scene and/or line from any of your fics?

People keep asking me that, and I never know what to answer! If I had to pick one, though, maybe the last few paragraphs of Don't look back - where you can see the tragedy coming, but there's no way of stopping it, because it was always going to end this way. And then Eddie's last words before the end of the fic call back to the title as well as the general theme of the fic - it just all comes together for such a crescendo of an ending. 

Do you have any upcoming projects or fics you’d like to share/promote?

Yes, actually! Coming soon in the SteddieBang'24, me and my lovely artist @hawkinsleather have been working hard on a 20k post-s4 fic called A glimpse of your canvas, which is about closeted transfemme!Eddie, women's solidarity, and Steve's very confusing no-good trip to the gay bar. Both With great power and RUSH! (T4T REMIX) have another WIP pending which I'll eventually finish (I promise, I'm just easily distracted!!), and for those who are still mad about Don't look back’s open ending, I'm almost done with the sequel, which features a lot of bad decisions by all characters involved, the healing power of community, and a bit of accidental child acquisition. 

Outside of these questions, Is there anything YOU would like to add?

Given the chance of this platform, I would like to notify my readers that I'm a terrible procrastinator when it comes to replying to comments, but I read and cherish every one of them - and repeat commenters, I see you, I love you, I am chewing on your arm like a dog with a bone!! "Good day my kitties!" You laughed at the thousands of messages of 'meow' from your fans, you look above the screen you see that almost 6k people attend.

"As I promise we'll start from where we left off from last stream!"you exclaimed as the chats start spamming with your custom emojis.

You looked back to your gaming set-up to see your chats filled with 'now do the mommy voice!' or 'meow meow'

Your head starts jogging...you remember that a user dared you to kill the boss for 1,000 coins, and after a while another user requested for you to do the mommy voice in return the user will give you 3,500 coins.

So you jokingly respond by stating "After I beat the boss I'll do a mommy voice for the rest of the stream" but both users send the coins, which you didn't mind since you thought of it as easy money.

'Ah well it's too late to come back now...' you thought to yourself as you get ready to make a mommy voice. "Oh my cute kittens you really think I forget?" You said as you sit down. You see your chats were filled with 'meow' as you start talking more you see that cyan boy comment a request.

'Can you please do the mommy voice while you play a horror game? (5,000 coins)' you read out loud still having that voice. "Why of course dear, anything for my favorite kitten~!" You said as the chats start spamming with dogs or cat noises, which made you laugh in surprise.

Ending the end stream you take a moment to breathe, 'inhale, exhale' you repeat to yourself. For a moment you feel lost... You feel like the room is closing in on you, yet you got distracted by a notification on your phone in a distance.

Getting off your gaming chair you walk towards your bed, it took a while for you to reach that destination. But once you did...you picked it up and read the message

New notification from app! You clicked on the notification and it brought you to the message part streaming app you used.

As you see that his icon turned offline you start to get this weird feeling in your stomach, you were getting nervous to see your favorite fan who has been with you since the beginning.

'what if he doesn't like me...?' you start questioning yourself and not in a good way. 'maybe he gets disappointed after seeing me'

As you start thinking negatively about your decision, you let out a loud scream as someone hugged you from behind. Hiori was the one hugging you, he appears from the bushes and hug out of nowhere scaring you.

"Hiori don't do that! That scared the hell out of me" you shouted as you calmed yourself down, hiori meanwhile was laughing his ass off from your reaction.

"BAHHAHA! THAT TOOK ME BY SURPRISED" he replied laughing but as he was backing up he fell down, now it was your turn to laugh

"AHHAHAHA! THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU LAUGH AT ME!" you continued laughing as you give him a helping hand.

After all of that laughing, most people are staring at your guys direction, but hiori didn't care one bit as he dragged you towards the city mall.

He pretty much went to the super arcade while still dragging you, buying coins to use to play the games.

"oh.. hiori! Congratulations on the U-20 match, you look wonderful playing in the match" you smiled as you beat a clawing game.

"Ah... Thanks (reader)!" He blush at the fact you complimented him.

You noticed the blush almost immediately and started teasing him, "Ooo~ looks like someone got a crush on me after just complimenting them~" you said but little did you know that hiori already fell for you way before this incident.

After a whole afternoon of playing games and winning all games, you both went to your respective places.

After months of hanging out often, you suddenly got another text from hiori to hang out on new years

As you read this you got an idea to confess to him...as you start to look in your closet for an outfit to wear and gosh you needed a closet outfit change, almost everything was outdated or you didn't like enough.

'Time to go to the mall!' you noted as you start changing your clothes to your outdoor outfits.

You arrive after 15 minutes and head straight to the Traditional Japanese Store... Looking for a bit you noticed a gorgeous kimono, it was simple yet stunning it has your favorite color and a lighter shade of a color you like.

You bought it and was surprised by how cheap it was than the other kimonos you've bought in the past.

You see a flower shop not that far and you dash through the crowds to get a bouquet of flowers that he loved.

Finding the perfect one, it looks majestic from the design until the petals of the flower.

You ask the man at the counter if this would be still available on new years eve, which the man answered positively so you pre-order the bouquet for hiori.

Getting nervous you wanted to tell him yourself rather than giving it to him, so you prepared a speech to tell him. As you read out back you think it looks good enough

Today's the day you'll confess your love to hiori, your wearing the kimono you bought that day while hiori was wearing somewhat matching to yours.

"(Reader reader)!" Hiori yelled trying to get your attention to the endless stands of food sellers.

"yeah yeah! I know" you yelled as you turned in his direction, 'where should I confess' you questioned yourself as you walk towards Hiori.

Noticing a tall hill in the distance you decide that's where you'll confess, you thought to yourself as you finally arrived to hiori's side, smiling to yourself as you find it so romantic what you're going to do.

The night goes at a flash of light, before you knew it the lighting of the fireworks are already about to start. Closing your eyes to fumble your kimono around, hiori didn't seem to notice though as he was too focused at the night blue sky.

You stared at the sky as well once the fireworks were lit up the moment it turn 12:00 am and damn they were pretty. As the fireworks start slowing down you fumble to get the bouquet out of your secret hiding place.

Once the fireworks completely stopped, you got on one knee

"Hiori you've stolen my heart...From the first time we hung out till now, I've been waiting to tell you this. I promise to love you and only you, so please please be mine!"

You cringe yourself as you talk, after lookin up for hiori's reaction you see him covering his mouth in shock

"Nah nah nah..." You heart sank as you hear the words coming out from his mouth.

Ah you start lowering the bouquet of flowers, hiori screamed "BRO! I was supposed to confess!!!" You turned your head in surprise and started laughing.

"wait r-really?" As you see he nodded you started laughing uncontrollably by relief and most importantly you were happy

"stand up it's my turn ya'k" said hiori which you glady

He took a bouquet filled with different lovely flowers and went down to your eye level

"would you like to be mine and I promise to be yours..."

You immediately said yes and jumped on him.

"what about my confession?" You ask jokingly while smiling from ear to ear

"I was already yours from the very beginning" hiori stated as he kissed your cheeks ever so lightly

This took way longer than expected and the mommy voice was so random

I swear I was just losing motivation left and right so I almost didn't finish by my deadline
