Guest post by @ardentarrows. Family traditions. I love them so much and am thankful to create them with my kiddos. Every night during the season of advent we gather together to talk about Christ and why He came. Every Sunday of advent we celebrate by lighting the weekly candle and discussing the theme that is represented each week. We also use our Advent cards from She Speaks Truth. Something new we added last year was our @thegivingmanger which helps us keep our focus on serving others throughout the season, keeping our eyes and hearts turned toward blessing others. We are loving this new tradition so much and our kiddos are always looking for ways to serve without letting the others know what they are doing, in hopes of surprising the recipient. It blesses this Mama heart so much! This week our theme is peace, and we are focused as a family to pray for peace for our city.
