those moments of stillness where the world is held in a breath and peace descends like a blanket – moments that, by nature, are not meant to last, and that realization makes the timeless stretch of their existence even sweeter

#yesterday cj was reading their weekly lotr chapter and i was messing around on the guitar #and the kittens were in various states of play and rest #i found a chord progression i liked and started playing it softly and søren who up until that point had been afraid of the guitar #slow blinked himself into sleep and i was so enamored and used the chord progression to write a lullaby for him #as the snow fell outside a grey window #there was something about that 20 minutes or so that felt so sacred #it was before i knew i had to go off and be quite busy until the evening but instead of stressing about my day #i sank into the peace we held there and it really helped the rest of my day shine a little brighter #welcome to textas
