I'm 31 years old and I'm sad a person hasn't responded to me on Neopets about my offer on a pet for my virtual pet when they themselves agreed the suggested online value was too high.

sorry if this has been asked before but what are your favorite designs by others? And do you have any fave designers? any artist who’s worked on official stuff and independent artists?

there are a looooot of designs that float around my brain, so very difficult to choose! here are some of them though from various media:

top row: ninetails from okami, church grim from year walk, charlotte from madoka middle row: characters from okage, parasite from parasyte, will of the abyss from pandora hearts bottom row: tokomon from digimon, rozalin from disgaea 2, slorgclops from neopets

i find i tend to be drawn to scrungly creature designs with a slight spook aspect in a way, but to me they are all very cute<3 i don't have specific favorites; but find those aspects appealing in a character

i know this artist is problematic now, but probably the most influential to my art when i was younger are funamusea's designs specifically the gray garden

more recently i've been a big fan of designs from tatsuki fujimoto (you may know from chainsaw man) and ryoko kui (you may know from dungeon meshi), very inspiring with how much character is shown through their stuff!

as for independent artists oogh there's so many too.. here's a bunch i enjoy though: hamboree kinwamonster teamiibo misterbox + so many others. so many.

there are soooooo many arts and things i enjoy that continue to inspire me day by day, which i think is an important aspect of designing - variety but with traits that you find fun to draw!
