Learning more about your mental illnesses is just like oh, so that wasn't just a random quirk, huh.

#i hated being in doctors/dentists offices because of the tiles on the ceiling #i had to count every single one of them without interruption and sort the weird cut pieces into a solid piece #and the number was always odd so i had to recount and find a way to make it even #or make that odd number more even like i could handle the odd number being five but seven or nine were the worst #and the entire visit i was just recounting and cutting the tiles into different patterns to make it work #and i thought that was just a weird quirk about me #that and many other things similar to that #tiles are the worst #whether they're on the floor or the ceiling they're being counted with rules that are really hard to ignore #even when i acknowledge what I'm doing i can't just stop #i think I'm a bit better about it now #especially with food #i used to chew every bite 150 times #and every food had rules on how i could eat it #chips were so annoying #i could only eat them in fives #but that's the amount i could hold #i had to eat one at a time #one chip - chewing it 150 times #and people wondered why it took me so long to eat #it was good for me in some ways like i do want to chew more and take my time eating #but it's a slippery slope

SILENT SOUNDLESS SCREAM OF AGONY

#so i live in the attic right. like my room used to be my family's attic #the summer before i got to high school my dad and i worked to finish it you know. make it live-in-able and all that jazz #well. because of the way my house is built. it's got a very low ceiling. to make thing even more complicated that ceiling is sloped #so the tallest point in the room is right down the middle and it just keeps getting shorter as you walk to either wall #(i am just short enough to stand comfortably upright in the middle of the room okay. most other people bang their heads)#and this ceiling. it has. like. ribbed support beams right.#well my BED. is very high up for REASONS #and when i am SITTING. on my BED. by the SLOPED CEILING. and GESTICULATING because of my FRIENDS #SOMETIMES. CHAPPED WINTER HANDS GET SLAMMED INTO THE CEILING RIBS AND *HURT*#anyway. that's all #margin rambles

absolutely do not have a good enough camera to document it but i looked out the window a bit ago and discovered that a charmingly friend-shaped spider (more or less the size and shape of a small hazelnut, with sturdy little striped-sock legs) had somehow managed to construct an enormous beautiful doily of a web between the second* floor of the house and a tree that's… probably a good six feet away???? baffling. magical. absolutely impossible to photograph at dusk with an iphone se. so instead i'm telling all of you about it.

#* the house is one floor + basement/garage built into a slope so on one side it's ground floor and on the other you're magically up a story #journaling #domesticities #spiders cw #honestly the spiders own this place i just live here #the other day i was on my computer and realized there was a tiny spider hanging out between me and it‚ suspended from the ceiling #at this pt as long as they don't touch me i'm pretty chill abt it (altho if they're inside i DO relocate them Out)#touching i would be a little less chill about but they seem to generally have good fellow-city-dweller instincts about a polite distance :)

my underground vault is coming together ^_^ the main middle structure and the circumference of the room was planned in a creative world, but I free-handed the geode and rounded edging for the ceiling on the spot :D

in other news, while looking for a mushroom island I found warm ocean ruins and got not ONE sniffer egg but TWO !! so now darling my first sniffer has two friends :D my sib named one of them breadloaf for me, the other is still unnamed :)

#the chambers going off the vault r very much going to be deeper down LOL this was barely low enough in the mountain #one end of the ceiling ended up just clipping thru the lower slope above it #if the note block redstone won't be too large im thinking one of the rooms will be the music room I was talking about!#lynx says things #lynx plays minecraft
