on the mudaliar thing! the last name mudaliar is derived from the tamil word muthal/muthar which means first. which also happens to be what noah places in slippery slopes. this was ENTIRELY COINCIDENTAL on my part, and i didn't know about it until a tamil reader informed me in the comments of the fic! i picked mudaliar bc it was tamil and i thought it was fun that it had "liar" in part of it considering noah and alejandro's rivalry in slippery slopes is rife with lies told by both of them (though, to my knowledge, mudaliar is pronounced "moo-duh-leer")

lmao i don't hate duncan at all. one of my fav hcs for him is that he's actually pretty artistic but doesn't really have an outlet to express that outside of graffiti + knife carvings but if you put this man in a pottery class he'd go absolutely ham and make a crazy cool mug or something. im also a djuncan shipper so i think dj would convince duncan to do these painting dates that duncan insists are lame but then he makes this awesome painting and gives it to dj.
