End of hiatus

I'm back! I've had a lot of time to think about my relationship to social media and I will be modifying my habits to try to improve my mental health. That said, I missed all my mutuals so much. These are the changes I am going to make:

Removing notifications - I experience executive dysfunction with absolute paralysis when I am faced with a huge task, such as catching up on 30 notifications. This way I feel I can still engage on Tumblr without it feeling like a race I'm already losing.

Hopefully posting more of my own experiences as I know passive social media use is linked to depression.

Since my laptop was stolen, I am going to be redoing and reposting all the songs I have so far posted on @slimsimonmusic. I will also be posting them here alone, rather than on YouTube.

That's all I can think of.

I had some issues I resolved before coming back to Tumblr. Since I was offline, I don't expect anyone to still follow my posts or anything.

That said, I want to start posting music I write on here again. But I'm scared no one will ever see it. For that reason please like this post if you see it. Then I can manage my expectations. Thanks.
