#slime rancher 2 spoilers

There is a DLC in the first Slime Rancher called Secret Style where every slime gets a cool new design. I decided to make Secret Style designs for all the SR2 slimes that are currently out. Note: I traced over the original in game art of each slime.

More info about what they are and why, along with the same images with a black background below the cut:

Angler Slime -> Piranha Slime When these were first teased I thought these slimes were going to be bitey, they weren't... I made them a piranha since those are known for biting.

Batty Slime -> Vampire Slime Vampires turn into bats. That's all.

Cotton Slime -> Albino Slime I was having trouble thinking of what to do with this one and then I thought of the bunny from Monty Python and the Holy Grail and so I just went with plain albinism. They are just so cute!

Flutter Slime -> Luna Slime The flutter slime has monarch butterfly-esc wings which is a very well known butterfly. I knew immediately this design should be a moth, but I wanted a well known moth. So I went with the luna moth

Ringtail Slime -> Leaf Slime Ringtail slimes were based off of tanuki and tanuki uses leaves to transform, so leaf slime.

Yolky Slime -> Hen Hen Slime At first I was thinking of making them a different type of egg like a shelled egg, hard boiled, omelet, etc. But I wasn't really sure how to do that... So I went the other way, a hen hen! I thought a chickadoo's color was too close to a normal yolky slime, so I ended on a hen hen.

Slime rancher 2 is getting a weather system update "this fall" I am BEYOND excited for this. :3

We will experience wind, rain, thunderstorms, and during these events sometimes certain slimes may appear on the island (dervish and tangle specifically). I can't wait to go into the starlight Strand and watch the rain fall across it. ^w^

Slime rancher 2 isn't even done yet but emotionally I'm making a video essay titled "STEM, capitalism, and the loss of innocence." I'm writing a 20 page treatise on the drone creator. I'm exploding.

i think legend would Love the saber slimes and all of them would absolutely adore the scenery there. ledge wouldn't like the cold too much since it makes his bones ache, so he and fig (who also has achy bones) like to hang out in the big cave with those giant heat flowers ! warms ya right up :) they love to sit as close to the petals as they dare and play with the slimes

wars Loves the aurora trees. he's fuckin obsessed w them and the aurora bridges, and he and lumen like to dart between islands and test how much weight they can hold (they have yet to break them)

briar loves the trees there and likes to collect sun sap and keep tarr away from the slimes while he strolls :] he also loves starting snowball fights w the slimes And the others. he thinks wars getting pelted w snowballs from eight different angles is hilarious

consider . wars and ledge lying underneath an aurora tree, looking up at the stars and watching how light from the "leaves" distorts the colors. legend draws in the snow and wars holds a perfect snowflake orb in his hands so legend can try to use it as a reference. they stay out there until the sun comes up and when the aurora bridges start flashing like they're about to disappear the calmness of the moment breaks and they giggle while scrambling over each other to make it to the bridges before they dissipate for the day . i lovethem so much

New gadgets (a carousel and ferris wheel to name a couple), new placement system for ANY item you place, new items you get through the weather events, and new areas in each location!
