Good Morning Georgia! Showers & thunderstorms will be redeveloping later this morning and early this afternoon. Majority of Georgia, particularly all of SWGA, is in the Slight Risk category for this system. The greatest risk for severe weather will occur later this morning & this afternoon. Damaging wind gusts will be the greatest hazard, hail, & a weak tornado or two cannot be ruled out. However the threat for that is not likely. This does not mean you should not be weather ready! Anytime there is a possibility for a tornado, no matter how small, you should always be prepared & weather ready just in case! Timing for the greatest risk for our area is in between 2pm-5pm today, but expect to see scattered showers prior to then. This is not going to be the end of the rain though!
