Jumpsuits are the new bomber jacket. I've made two this week. I mean sure they're pretty much just fancy pajama onesies but at least it *looks* like I got dressed. Plus this one has pockets! I mean really, what's the point of making your own clothes if they don't have pockets?? Didn't feel like working on what should be working on so I made another pair of pants. This time in a heavy denim by Rag and Bone from @moodfabrics I feel like I should own a yacht or an Italian sports car in this fabric. Oh wait I DO own an Italian sports car! It all makes sense now. (It doesn't make sense at all) Max isn't amused by my procrastinating and Aziraphale hates these shoes. I don't love how selfies can aggravate my dysphoria, so we all have our things we have to work through in this house. But at least I'm getting good at making pants. Yaaaaaay. I was worried this ridiculously complicated neon pink and gold eyeball jacket wasn't weird enough until I realized that it looks my butt is rolling it's eyes at you. It's fully lined with slick-as-the-devil's-astroglide black satin and you know this muthafucka has pockets. Usually I'd say I'm never doing something like this again, but at this point we all know it's a filthy lie. The pattern was from McCall's though I changed it up quite a bit as well as trimming 3 inches out of the torso and 6 inches off the skirt. The fabric is an African waxed cotton from @moodfabrics . Figuring out where I wanted to have the pattern sit on the final garment brought me an unreasonable amount of joy. And now for a much lighter jacket both in fabric and anger at the patriarchy. This is a fully reversible bomber jacket with a sedate subtle rainbow stripe on the outside that contains the neon animal that lurks inside us all! Or some of us anyway. It's just me then? Anyhoo...
