@sleepyfortress​ recommended this fic to me last week and i’ve been MCFREAKING OUT ever since 😭💦 

the Louisiana tone and setting are so vividly illustrated that everything feels so real and tactile, but most impressively hannibal’s pov is just excellent!! he’s so wily and attentive, and his thought processes are just a riot to read. what’s even more amazing is that the side characters (team scIENCe,, theyre so FUNNY) are paid the same attention to characterization, it feels like a full, rounded cast!!

and WILL. OH, WILL. what can i say? he has such a distinct presence in this fic, with all the airs of a mystery and intrigue, belied by something charged and teasing and AGHHh EVERY INTERACTION BETWEEN HANNIBAL AND WILL GIVES ME INSANE BLUE BALLS my constitution is far too weak to withstand this degree of slow burn, please throw me into the boiling pot already 

in conclusion, @iesika​ is a lovely, lovely writer and the exact pantone color of my scrotum is 18-3949
