FASTING - LETS NOT EAT FOOD TO GET HEALTHY 〰️ 🤔 Who came up with the idea that in order to get healthy, we should stop doing the very thing we NEED (to eat food) - to thrive. 〰️ It makes no ❌sense and here is # 1 reason why.... 〰️ 👉🏻 As a human, and by design, we are naturally intended to fast at night for the purpose of rest, recovery and repair, so why prolong it by not eating until well into the next day? 〰️ 👉🏻 Well for those with hypothyroidism, low thyroid health or function, YOU SHOULD NOT ‼️ In fact, this is by far one of the worst things you could ever do. 〰️ 💎 According to Ray Peat PhD, blood sugar naturally begins to fall at night, forcing the body to rely on the glucose stored in the liver as glycogen for energy. As a result, adrenaline and cortisol begin to rise almost as soon as a person goes to bed 🛏 , but in those with hypothyroidism, who are not able to store glycogen/energy for any long period of time, these stress hormones rise in excess resulting is a sudden and abrupt waking ‪between 1 and 3 A.M.‬ 〰️ Sound familiar ❓If this is you, extending your fasting period well into the next day does nothing more than leave your body in a chronically stressed 😰 state. 〰️ 👉🏻 Fasting is a huge buzz in the health industry and everyone is trying it.
