Going off of sleepfable's au, how do you think Innes talked Muir back to reality?

Ooooh gosh, I'll try my best here- I think it definitely takes during that elevator sequence but instead of killing him, Muir throws Innes down on the ground, trying to get him to stay and thrashing around as he begs Innes not to go, his whole body just writhing in pain. Innes doesn't say much at first just trying to get Muir to come down so he can talk to him and all Innes needs to do really is just gently hold Muir's head, stroking his face in comfort and letting him know he is here and he is safe. Muir is slowly starting to come to but is still struggling to gain hold of himself as he starts thrashing around. So Innes tries again, but this time he talks to Muir as well, simply reminding him of all their funny little gaffs they have on the rig, reminding him of how they met, some funny moments together, and the promise that even if Muir doesn't remember them now, he'll keep reminding him until he does and he'll stay there until he finally does. And Muir finally manages to control himself, thinking hard back through blurry memories until he finally can remember when he and Innes first met and his glazed over eyes finally regain some semblance of vision and his mind settles as he happily whispers "...Innes...y-yer 'ere..." IDK I suck at this stuff lol
