Hi Maggie!!!

So I apologize for the long post and cringy cliche topic but...

I was just thinking..  what if Scaras mom, ei, tends to babysit sometimes...

Perhaps it's a neighbour's kid or Scaras baby cousins or something but it always seems like scara wants nothing to do with them and tends to just slam his door closed when his mom asks for help.

Now just imagine one day, scummy scara finally got his darling to come over to his house once again, to maybe just chill, play games, watch movies and hopefully kiss...perhaps more than that too.

He is feeling so giddy, and confident that his plans to get to that point are full proof as he'd been secretly practicing for this day with his doll...

So imagine his smile fading as he is about to open the door but ei beats him to it, dressed up professionally and looking ready to go to work.

"Oh I'm glad your here, listen I have an important meeting in person, so I need you to look after the neighbour's kids/cousins"

Before he could complain she ran out and drove off leaving the two, to turn around only to be faces with said kids.

Imagine that the darling is actually fond of kids. Her motherly mode is turned on and she easily takes care of them, while getting along with them as well.

Scara is in awe of his darling. He knew she'd be great mother one day but actually seeing her in action really made his heart skip a beat while heat rushed to his face and even down there--- *slap*

Of course this feeds into his fantasy of a domestic life with his darling. His fantasy of making a family with her while enjoying the idea of the process of making babies.

Okay, now he is determined to show his darling that he is good with kids and can be a good father, as well as husband material for her.

So imagine as he tries to smile at the kids ( it's creepy cause he isn't use to it), cooing them to come to him as he brings a hand out for them to take, only for them to slap it away and run over to darling , hugging them and telling her that they don't wanna go him.

It irks him but can you blame them? After all, Scara wasn't someone who really interacted with them and when he did he was chasing them away and constantly yelling at them to stay out of his room. Which usually led to them crying to ei and her scolding him to be nicer.

Of course he didn't listen, shrugging off what she said. However, he'd come to regret it later since the kids figured out his weakness. A weakness they tended to use to get revenge...

Fast forward and Scara is livid at the fact that he can't seem get any time to spend with his darling as the kids are constantly taking all her attention away.

Either they were hungry, wanting her to play with them, look at the drawing they made of of them and her (scara is in the picture but he is underground like that one meme) or whatever! She barely paid any notice to him!

At some point he swore he saw them smirk but later it was confirmed that they were mocking him when she picked them up, hugging them cause they accidently fell and started crying. He  watched them pull their eye while sticking out their tongue as she soothingly rubbed their back.

Oh but if you thought that taking her attention away was bad, haha then your wrong. They were also constantly trying to bring out the worst of him, the side he usually showed to them and make him look incapable of being that ideal person he wanted to be in darlings eyes.

Now imagine his relief when they (she actually) eventually got the kids to sleep, tucking them in and closing the door behind them.

Oh, how Scara was mentally fisting the air, cheering that finally he was able to get his darling all to himself!

Now since he couldn't act out his original plan due to time, he had to skip some parts and head straight to the movie idea since they were both quite exhausted ( him especially as they nearly managed to get him to slip up a couple of times) and what better way to relax than to just watch a movie?

Shyly he asks if darling is up for a movie and after the confirmation, he jumped up and got ready, bringing all the snacks she enjoyed just for this day, before turning on the TV.

The movie choice was a thriller, and inspired by that one ask from anon  where the reader thinks he is frightened for the movie, she decides to comfort him, bringing him closer so he could rest on her, causing him to malfunction from this.

Skip and the movie has ended.

Reader is now stretching while expressing how amazing the show was while scara just agrees, unknowingly to the reader that he was not watching the movie at all, but focusing on how soft she was when she held him.

Oh but how his face lit up when he saw some crumbs on the readers face.

Perfect he thought. Just as he planned when he decided to buy some crumbly cookies for them.

Not wanting to miss the opportunity, he brings his hands up to readers face, cupping it while his thumb swiped away whatever was on it.

He says something along the lines "you had something on your face" but the way he stutters it out and how he was blushing furiously, made him wanna  kick himself. Though on the contrary, reader found it cute as she giggles, bringing her hand up to hold his hand that's cupping her face.

Now Imagine the two having a moment, Scara's awaited moment finally coming to reality when their faces were coming closer and closer,

so close that he nearly---

"What are you two doing?"

Startling the two and pulling back, reader is blushing profusely while scara is cursing at the timing.

Scara sighed in relief and disappointment when the day finally came to an end. The kids parents show up, thanking the two for looking after them before leaving. At the same time, Ei happened to arrive home too, which meant that there was really no alone time with reader.

How frustrating...

Ei offers reader a lift home as it's late and she was aware of readers curfew. So when she agrees, scara is bouncing to the car, opening the door for her and all.

Sadly though, he has to sit in the backseat while reader and his mom are chatting happily away.

Eventually they make it to readers house, Scara quickly gets out of the car to walk her to her door.

"I had a fun day"

She says smiling when they made it to the front door. Scara could only agree to her face, trying to smile but it came out forced as he thought of what a bitter day it was for him, and how he wasn't really able to accomplish his goals.

But then again.. if he thought about it...it wasn't all that bad... i mean, he did get to see a new side to her , a nurturing side, one that might have caused his obsession with her to grow... but he also was able to be comforted by her, so in all honesty it was progress.

Too bad he didn't get that kiss...

"Oh, I almost forgot something"

She says turning towards him, making him confused and nervous as he wondered if she noticed that he stole some of her stuff while she was distracted with the kids.

But no.

Instead she smiled at him, coming closer before pulling him down, her lips reaching up to meet his.

To say he was shocked was an understatement, as he was completely thrown off guard, so much so that he forgot that he was to kiss back.

When she pulled away, she chuckled at his beet red face and wide eyes.

"See you monday at campus"

She says, waving before opening her door and entering her home still leaving a dumbfounded scara.

When he finally came to it, he may or may not have punched the air, silently screaming and jumping in victory. Basically being a total weirdo outside her home.

Again I apologize but I tend to have a soft spot for pathetic guys trying to shoot their shot but ending up getting blocked.

OH MY GOODNESS 🥺 just just just him falling even more in love when he sees you getting along with children. When he sees you taking care of a little child, he swears his heart is going to explode from all the cuteness you’re radiating. And I can imagine him literally dreaming about marrying and having kids with you, even going far as to plan it all out before he’s even started dating you.

Koudelka is one of my absolutely favorite games, its a little bland on gameplay but its a cool survival horror with amazing voice acting and such, love it! anyway its expensive cuz its 4 disks and one of the later ps1 games

moving on we have the Legend of game collecting for a while, panzer dragoon saga, the best game on the saturn. gorgeous environments, cool gameplay, an ending that blew my mind. its the fabled "thousand dollar video game" and thus:

Blood Will Tell, the english localization of dororo to hyakkimaru, really cool hack and slash platformer with a very interesting way of going about how you progress where reaching your goal also puts a hindrance on you in certain ways as you get your body back. low print, not advertised, slap that price tag on (also has a bit of a meme status cuz the voice acting is bad)

Rule of Rose was hit with a lot of controversy cuz a lot of people pegged it as having "sexual content with minors" (a girl kisses another girls hand) and it does have abuse stuff in it but nobody cared about that. amazing cutscene direction, cool presentation. They mainly does it to annoy Barou; It drives the resident King up a wall when it's 2 am and all he hears is: "FrEsh LeMonAID, FrEShly Squeezed~" There had to be a "No memes" ban placed after Barou threatened to strangle Chigiri with his hairdryer and shove Nagi's phone up his-

Gagamaru and Raichi have an ongoing slap war. Whenever one passes the other they make it a point to cuff the back of that person's head and RUN. Currently Gagamaru's got the lead by height alone, but Raichi gets creative in his return smacks. Junichi doesn't participate; he's witnessed one too many beds breaking when Raichi's retreat plan flopped and Gagamaru attacked back.

Reo's entire playlist post Nagi's betrayal consisted of "Kill Bill" by SZA on repeat. One time Chigiri and Kunigami heard Reo crooning in the shower "I might kill my Nagi~ Where to hide the body?~"

Sae likes massages but refuses having his feet touched. A lot of people assume it's because he has a superstition about "Massaging them removes the luck within" (Shidou's BS), but really he's just stupidly ticklish there that even the attempt to grab them will make him giggle like a child. (And yes- Shidou knows abou this. Yes- he has walked out of a tickle fight with a broken nose because of it.)

Aryu despises spicy food. He can't take the heat and it makes him all sweaty. "So not glam" he whined after accidentally ordering too hot a bowl of ramen. He also hates milk- so it's a constant cycle of eating the spicy ramen as not to waste it, and then chugging milk to ease the burn, and then eating more spicy ramen to get the taste of milk out of his mouth, etc. etc.

Isagi was over the moon when he found out Chigiri's favorite song was "Blue Bird" by Ikimono Gakari. Then he felt beyond betrayed when said redhead told him he'd never seen an episode of Naruto in his life and heard the song on his sister's playlist one day; hence why he likes it.

Bachira cannot take compliments. He get's all flustered and shy when even the smallest praise is passed his way. "Bachira, you did amazing last game!" Cue our monster dribbler covering his face and waving off the kind words with a "Staaaaaap~" Isagi finds it absolutely adorable and constantly finds things to compliment him on just to make the usually whimsical player stammer and blush.

Isagi is the only person who's effectively made Rin laugh. It wasn't a big one; just a small puff after Isagi made an off-hand remark about Ego giving "Big cheese stick energy" Isagi holds onto that memory like a trophy, forever proud that he was the first to make Rin smile before the younger boy looked away and refused to meet his gaze.

Kunigami does the thing where he'll go: "Chigiri, look at me?" And when said redhead does, he'll gently take his chin and kiss him. It never fails to fluster his boyfriend, even when he's prepared for it.

Niko once wore his bangs pushed back from his face. Everyone lost their shit because they'd never seen his eyes before and thought he was another person. (Also might have made some people heart-squeeze because he's adorable??? Have you seen his eyes- they're so big and green HELLO???)

Barou knows the Nyan Nyan Dance from Macross Frontier, along with various other anime dances. His two younger sisters are obsessed with them and begged him to teach them any new ones they discover. He absolutely refuses to share this knowledge with anyone and if someone were to suspect it; he'd threaten to kill them.

Rin openly despises Danganronpa because everyone keeps saying he's the "Blue Lock Shuichi Saihara"; but secretly he's thrilled at the comparison because he rather enjoyed Danganronpa. (Maki was his favorite). If asked though he'll say it's dumb.

Tokimitsu gives fabulous hugs- you just have to occasionally reassure him he's doing fine else he panics thinking he's hugging too tight or too loose. He doesn't really talk much, but the gesture says everything in itself.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?) Kenneth is incredibly guarded about his emotions, too used to being reviled by those around him. If he actually cares, he'll do anything to keep his partner or loved one safe. PDA isn't his thing, but behind closed doors? Good luck keeping his hands off you ;)

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?) If Maurice likes you... he'll consider liking you. Getting on his good side can be difficult. After a lifetime of hardship and misery, the Clown is slow to trust and even slower to let someone in. However, once he does start considering someone a genuine friend, they've got a good one. Someone messes with you, they'll likely never be seen again...

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?) PDA is a rare thing, but once you two get some alone time that's going to be all that's going on. Curled up on the couch or in a hammock together, there's no better way to spend the day.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?) Settling down would be a dream come true after a life on the run. It's hard to stay in one place long when you're part of a circus, and harder still when one of your hobbies is murder. Cooking has never been a passion for Kenneth, growing up with a father who spent all his money on booze he got used to eating whatever he could scrounge up. As for cleaning? Ehhh, he knows where all his stuff is even if you don't.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?) I hope you've got fast reflexes because there will be a lot of projectiles coming your way. Break ups hurt, and dealing with hurt is usually accompanied by raised voices and breaking things. That's all he's ever known.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?) It'll take a while to get to the point that Kenneth trusts you, but once he does, he'll want to show you. Settle down in a place all your own and start a family! A BIG family!

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?) On the outside, not at all. He's mean, gruff, and he'll slap you so hard your head does a three-sixty... But if you can get past that, gain his trust and show him you're genuine, he'll be as soft and gentle as possible. He knows what it is to be hurt, and if he cares about you, he's going to do everything he can not to hurt you.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?) Kenneth is just as touch starved as the others, but just like them it's going to be hard to get him to admit that. Once he does, he'll hold you as long as you'll let him, or until someone walks by.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?) He might have said it to Maurice once? He can't remember the last time it was said to him, so it's going to take a pretty long time for him to say it, even after he starts to like you.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?) Considering how hard it is for him to form genuine attachments, he'll get dangerously jealous if he thinks someone is trying to get between the two of you. First he'll get quiet. Biding his time. He won't take it out on you of course. But whoever's causing the problem better watch out...

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss their partner? Where do they like to be kissed?) Give him a kiss on the cheek and he'll be blushing like a beet under his greasepaint. Any more PDA then that and he's going to drag you somewhere private and cover you in kisses. Good luck getting out without a thousand lip prints from head to toe.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?) Kenneth is only a scary clown to teenagers and adults. Kids on the other hand? He'll keep them laughing and giggling for hours. Maybe it's because he never really got to be a kid himself.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?) Sleeping in is always the way to go. But Maurice needs breakfast, and he will push a window or door open and start chewing on whatever's closest if you don't get up in time.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) Drinking by the fire till it's time to sleep. Sharing stories and maybe playing some cards. You might want to bring some earplugs though, because the man snores louder then Bubba's chainsaw.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?) Once Kenneth feels comfortable enough to open up to you, he's going to dump it all on you at once. He's never really had anyone to share with, so he's not sure if he's telling you too much or too little. So... you're getting all of it.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?) Incredibly quickly, mostly as a defense mechanism. Kenneth is used to people coming at him with nothing but ill intentions and found the best way to head them off is to bite before he barks.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about their partner? Do they remember every little detail they mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?) It depends on how much he's had to drink that day... But if he cares about you or what you're saying, he'll remember. He'll make sure he remembers. No one wants to be forgotten.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in their relationship?) The moment he realized his partner was genuine. They weren't hiding something or trying to manipulate him. They were just... honest.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect their partner? How would they like to be protected?) Have you ever seen a grizzly bear protecting its cubs? Kenneth thinks he doesn't need to be protected, but if his partner was to get between him and the person he's fighting with and stand up for him, it would rock his entire world. (in a good way)

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?) If you've reached that point, he's going to give it his all. You've given him something he'd given up on, so he's going to make sure you get everything you deserve and more, even if you don't think you do.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?) Kenneth has been a heavy smoker and drinker since he was a child. Those are hard habits to kick, even for a now immortal Slasher.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?) Bitch, he's fabulous and he knows it. But really, he prefers to keep himself covered. Heavy jacket, heavy paint. It hides the scars that he doesn't want anyone else to see, both inside and out.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without their partner?) He'd break the Realm in half if anything happened to his partner. Or in this case, his horse. Maurice is his closest friend after all.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.) Kenneth is actually excellent at poker and other card games. Card tricks in general, really. You pick up a lot living and working with the circus.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?) Be honest. Doesn't matter what it's about, but do not lie to him. Tell him what's on your mind. What's bothering you. If you go behind his back, you may as well get gone and stay gone. Without trust, what do you have left?

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?) If he doesn't have a reason to be up and about, chances are he won't be. 13. Favorite deck archetype

This one’s also challenging. Among the ones used by canon characters I know, I think I actually like Carly’s Fortune Ladies the best. Otherwise? I think Darklords are really cool. Back when I gave a shoutout for people to help me with deck archetypes for characters for a future fic, someone also introduced me to P.U.N.Ks and yep. Just yep. That slaps.

15. How did you get into YGO?

Through kindergarden via the TCG, technically. You know, back when mainstream people actually played it casually (it was later pretty much usurped by Magic the Gathering in our schoolyard). I think I was three, there were some boys who acted like they knew how the game worked (I’m 99% sure they knew absolutely nothing about the actual rules and were just imitating anime duels) and I remember finding Dark Magician really cool. I later got introduced to the anime (DM at the time) when I was nine, maybe, on the one, lonely channel that played the yugioh anime in my country. I really got into it with 5Ds a couple of years later, though. Good times.

24. Unpopular opinion?

Idk if this is still an unpopular opinion (I’m hoping the fandom might have grown out of it), but Aki and Crow both deserved their spots in the narrative and were actually both mishandled to a degree. Maybe some parts of Aki’s writing seem more egregiously bizarre, but Crow’s “arc” is also all over the place. Still, they’re both great characters and both deserve to be part of the main cast imo. No “Crow stole Aki’s spot” in my house. They’re both lovely. No more fighting.

I think everyone has a secret fantasy about marrying their favorite celebrity. That’s why celebrities and idols exist and why boy bands are so successful. I’m really showing my age but omg the frenzy in the 90s and early 2000s around NYSNC and The Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears?? Unparalleled. Then in the late 2000s we saw it again with Justin Bieber and One Direction. The Josie and Pussycats film (SLAY) makes fun of the entertainment industry the entire movie by even parodying boyband obsession, product placements, and the trend cycles. The movie went over so many peoples’ heads when it was released so it bombed at the box office but it’s a cult classic for a reason. Highly recommend to watch!!! Also aging myself again by admitting I had both the dvd AND soundtrack as kid bc the songs are bangers. Honestly the 90s-2000s in general just rocked. This is the only meme I have of the film but see the product placement and the mockery of boy bands? Genius.

The 1D documentary is a perfect example of the boy band frenzy that JATP film was mocking bc they even had a small scene where they had a neuroscientist or someone similar in that profession (I haven’t seen the movie in a few years so I’m not 100% sure but I was a hardcore 1d stan and have the dvd bc their live vocals honestly slap. Their concert cover of teenage dirtbag in the movie?? Still waiting for the actual recording bc chefs kiss). Anyway the neuroscientist was saying that corporations/ music companies have these formulas to create the perfect idol down to a t after studying the phenomenons of rabid Beatles and Elvis fans in the 50/60s. It has to do with the happiness chemicals in the brain. Combine those with good looks and music? You can’t help but fall in love. The entertainment industry then purposely directs their carefully molded artists to vulnerable audiences (preteens, teens, women) because they will buy more products. Casey Aonso (another fellow 1d stan wassup girl) YouTube video describes their XFactor era HILARIOUSLY. War flashbacks. The clips about HOW BAD each individual one direction members auditions were but you could see the $$$ in the judges eyes bc the boys were good looking and you could tel the judges were plotting how to sell the boys good looks. And they did.

And boy do we know that formula works. Hybe overprices bts products on Weverse shop and y’all eat it up and sell it out every time. $200 for a REPACKAGED cd. Weren’t they selling like a $1000 product recently? But even Jin had to be like “nah for my Astronaut comeback yall not gonna be selling hella expensive pajama pants like last time tho. I’ve talked a lot about parasocial relationships and media training, etc. While I think it’s fine to have a secret fantasy about marrying *insert celebrity crush name here*, I think it’s important to realize it’s a FANTASY. Fun to think about and daydream to, but NOT REALISTIC when trying to plan a future around or with. Go play the childhood game of MASH or make a SIMS family with Jungkook as your husband. That’s fine and normal. But don’t be going around telling people he’s your boyfriend. That’s delusion. I’ve included a perfect real life example of healthy young fangirling in the tags.
