Distant Isles is a HTTYD game and they just added this dragon called Glimmering Skyseeker and I wanted your opinion on it bc I'm curious. :>

Can't say I do play Roblox. I can very rarely do online multiplayer games. ;v;

I've decided to finally eradicate the heretical religion that sprouted from mine. The Skyseekers meme is so incredibly inconvenient and barely lends any buffs. Besides, I've decided to stop using "Vanilla Vehicles Expanded" for practical uses.

The first step of that is to turn their temple into a cozy roofed outdoor seating area, because I'm done pandering to them.

I also ripped out my guaranulan tree ages ago, but I forgot to mention it. I'm turning the space into a landing pad for Imperial shuttles, including one smaller pad for my own Carryall.

The Twilight Forest

A prophecy was shared many moons ago between the original six clans of the forest. “When six become four, four shall become two. The heavens shall rest once bloodshed arises.” After receiving this prophecy, the clans thought nothing of it. Until many moons had passed when the six clans became four. As the moons went on the arising conflict broke out amongst the remaining clans forcing them to become two. An endless war that phased through multiple seasons had finally come to an end. The two remaining clans showing hostile nature between one another, receive a new prophecy when the upcoming gathering arrives. “A lark’s blood shall smother ashes when silhouettes of twilight threaten the forest in a neverending darkness.”

The two clans have no clue what the prophecy really means. They have their assumptions but can't pinpoint an answer. This only causes tension and fear between them, neither one of them wants to lose their territory to the new rising threat in the forest.

A few sunrises pass, before a new group of felines introduced themselves as the Skyseekers. These felines are tall with athletic builds. They move elegantly with great haste. Built to strive through the cliffs and mountain side of the forest where they call home.

The Skyseekers are seen as a third clan. Though they don't bind to the traditional warrior and worship godly being called the Skystalkers. The group is run by a strict hierarchy system. If anyone dares to break it they will receive a punishment worse than death.

Finally got to reform my ideology for the second time, this time I added psychic focus, for the benefit of my psycasters. I also plan to only keep the 3 of them from now on. For now, the position of leader has been taken over by Galga, which sucks because I don't like any one specific pawn to have so many buttons attached to them, it gets annoying to manage.

Finally called down the Mechanitor ship, luckily it crashed just East of some traders that happened by, they were slaughtered because they're primitive tribals, but the rest of the mechs were dealt with easily enough. I gave Bringa the mechlink for his 15 Crafting skill.

Normally I would never take this kind of quest...but I was feeling confident, and I wanted to speed up Galga's ranks in the royal line. Though I did save before accepting the quest, obviously.

The battle went off without a hitch! We greatly outnumbered the Deserters, and I readily used the Empire soldiers provided to me as meatshields to soak up the flak thrown our way. Crouca was able to flank around them and easily crush the stragglers with his new zeushammer. My guys didn't even take a scratch. I wanted to take the Deserter's OP armor with me, but it was too heavy for my colonists to carry both an armor set and a helmet, so I just took their gear.

New Mechanitor laboratory for Bringa. I plan to keep the operations relatively small-time, since we really only need some extra labor around here.

Finally finished the garage next to the workshop, where all the car parts are stored. I may need to make it bigger in the future. I also fixed up the Lighting car ruin that spawned in the region with me, finally. I don't plan on using it for many practical uses, but it sure does look spiffy, no?

Built a bathhouse in the old monument that I built ages ago. It's missing a built-in sauna room, but I have one of those in the colony anyway.

My ideology has split. Pinon, Canyon, and the two children have made an offshoot of my ideology that added the Skyseekers meme, which basically means that they want to travel by sky. Anyways I'm building them a little village in the animal pen where they belong, since the thrumbo population is mostly fed off kibble nowadays.

also this one. this is an intermediate that only exists when the mod is loaded with space exploration because se has a load of buildings that need to look at a particular point in the sky (signal transmitters, delivery cannons, telescopes). it's like. the rotatey-supporty bit. lumbering enough to reposition heavy equipment, precise enough to unerringly fire at a 3 meter wide target on the moon.

i currently have it as "skyseeker armature" which is a mental confusion of the engineering and art definitions of armature and accurate to neither of them. again this is sort of a silly thing to have as a standard component and would probably be bespoke to each new facility but it's decidedly less silly than vanilla factorio's intermediate scheme of "anything that moves is a gear."

what is this object called. i have it currently as "brass pipe fitting" but this is explicitly not what a pipe fitting is.

(trick question, the answer is "this object doesn't exist, pipes with these sorts of bolted connections are made by casting the entire pipe as one unit, not manufactured by welding these things onto the ends of tubes, and if they did exist they would be made of a material other than brass" but like. it's a gameplay conceit)

if it turns out the most accurate possible name for this thing is something ludicrous like "pipe mating plate" i might as well die. i'm not calling it that but i also refuse to give off the sense that i don't know what a pipe fitting is
