I've always wanted to do a "Pieta"-esque piece, and figured my Skyrim OCs would be a good vehicle to do it! Scene takes place shortly after the final Alduin fight, at the throat of the world: Vakna (dragonborn) doing her best to keep her Falmer lover, Sivasei conscious while imploring Odahviing to take them back to Whiterun.

I was (and still am lol) a Elder Scrolls Online player. I got bored with the game a while ago and haven't bought the new updates in like a year but I still log in to listen to Daahin the khajiit bard in Rimmen just cause her voice is so beautiful. I just sit there on the bench and listen.

Anyways, I got Skyrim a few months ago. I'm playing as an argonian. I am also a Minecraft player so when I found the survival mod I got really excited. Needless to say it is a rough time playing Skyrim for the first time on survival mode as an argonian. I am constantly afraid of freezing to death, but I'm doing well regardless.

Overall I am genuinely loving this game. The world feels so big despite the fact that it's itty bitty compared to the ESO map. I'm pretty sure that's because I primarily have to get everywhere on foot, (or horse or carriage if I'm lucky). Every character has this life to them. I'm really enjoying it. So while the graphics suck sometimes, I'm always swept away by the vibe and that's enough for me.

It does help that I mostly play minecraft, though I have played DBH and that certainly shows how things can look.

Anyways, I'm enjoying the heck out of Skyrim and I hope we all can enjoy it together.

all i want is to relive the first time i played skyrim—when i knew nothing, the world was infinite, possibilities were endless, and the graphics and mechanics were so new and impressive.

now i want nothing more than to perfect skyrim, to make it what i thought it was when my older brother handed me his controller for the first time.

Folks who play games that are modded, what do you consider the meaning of 'vanilla'. I always considered it only official content (base and DLC) but heard someone use it to refer to base game only recently.

A good survival mod in Skyrim makes survival mode actually fun and forces you to slow down a ton which is nice, it really makes walking everywhere basically mandatory to enjoy the scenery and general weird skyrimness,

also it took me like 5 in game days to beat bleakfalls barrow because I was underequipped and had no money or spells. amazing
