thoughts on skynani? They definitely are good friends and their whole thing is bromance, which is why I found it so damn odd that the rest of gmmtv treats them the same way they treaty BL CPs. It might be because thats the only way they know how to treat pairs, but the teasing goes very into CP territory sometimes, even though neither of them do much fanservice and probably don't want to do BL. Also the whole thing about nani asking mark about having feelings for a friend/coworkers whose also in the industry and not wanting to ruin the friendship is just kinda odd lmao, especially because it was during the filming of HSF and no one though they were going to blow up the way they did

I still haven’t watched High School Frenemy, but I am all here for SkyNani. I think they’re adorable and it’s been nice to see Nani come out of his shell a bit, although I do worry the poor boy is being overstimulated. He is the most introvert to ever introvert and this is a lot. I’m very proud of them, though. They’ve been so humble throughout this whole thing.

My one reservation—if you could even call it that—is simply that they did not sign up for this. A lot of actors actively choose not to do BLs because of all of the drama that comes with it: the constant scrutiny, the toxic fans, the inability to be seen alone with a woman ever again. Sky and Nani have lost that little bit of freedom and they’re not even in a BL!

But overall, I think it’s amazing. I love that GMMTV is separating their names with a hyphen instead of just smashing them together (except the hyphen is a red string of fate). I love that they’re hosting “friendomenon” fan meets for them. I love that they hastily shot the trailer for Wu in 6 hours a week before GMMTV 2025 and only finished editing it the night before the event. It’s all just so camp and I’m having a great time. Like this feels like an episode of Parks and Rec or something? Just too insane to be real.

So anyway, I’m a fan, but I do think they should kiss on the lips.

Oh my god do you think they’re going to put them in LOL next year? I would die. Here are all of our gays…and Sky-Nani!

I posted this on Twitter; but I’ll post this here too.

Where did gmm bl stans got the idea that they put lots of investments into high school frenemy? The show literally screams low budget, there’s barely more than 4 sets in each episode, the actors mostly wear their uniform, the teachers also mostly wear the same exact outfit. We go from Shin’s house, to Saint’s house to the school, to the rooftop every episode; they’re always choosing the gym to have a brawl no matter what ( lmao) which is most definitely because of budget. The script is just a little more fleshed out since it took forever to produce this show; even then it got a little repetitive in the beginning. The editing is kinda off in some parts, the fight scene are kinda cringy in some parts.

The only thing saving the show is SkyNani and their acting and chemistry, the other actors, and the soundtrack.

I don’t understand the “gmm is putting more money in their lakorn and bromance” take come from.
