So I'm reading this reverse harem book because reverse harems have just kind of been my thing lately. And I think I'm going to like the main female protagonist in this book which is honestly is kind of rare in reverse harems. Normally I'm pretty apathetic to the female character in reverse harem romance books -- they're almost always hard around the edges, not like other girls, fantastic martial artists with anger issues. Which there's nothing wrong with these attributes in a female protagonist but I'm honestly getting kind of sick of reading about that kind of character; this kind of character is just everywhere in the reverse harem genre. Maybe I want to have a reverse harem with a female protagonist that isn't so overtly strong and easy to aggravate. There is something more inherently interesting to me about a protagonist that maybe doesn't necessarily have the capability to beat up very guy that stares at her but instead is you know friendly and has a more inner strength to her. Like honestly, in reverse harems, I kind of enjoy the main female protagonist's best friends more than the actual protagonist. She can still be not like the other girls and take 0 shit from the main characters but also you know be vulnerable and kind and friendly. But anyway, only a few pages into this book and so far this character doesn't seem like she's going to embody too much of what you typically find of female protagonists in reverse harems except for the not like other girls thing (that I don't think I will ever be able to get away from in reverse harems unfortunately) but the thing I cannot stand is this girl's name. First name: Astra. Last name Nomical. Her full name is literally Astra Nomical. And I cannot take this book seriously whenever she's called that. I can deal with calling her Astra. I can deal with calling her Nomical. But whenever her full name is mentioned, I can't take her seriously, it takes me out of the book so bad. Don't know if the character herself gave her that name or if it was her parents that gave her that name. Either way, to me its not quirky, its not cute, its just cringey AF. And I beg for the sake of my sanity, that these non-sentient fictional characters who have already been written and therefore have no control over what has already been written in the book to stop calling her by her full name. I want to enjoy this book but I can't if I'm continuously being reminded that this girl's name is Astra Nomical.

Oh and by the way if anyone's interested the name of the book is Life's A Witch by Skyler Andra.

Book review of Tales Out of School ... A collection of Paranormal Supernatural & Magical Academy stories ... You Have a Responsibility |White Hat Academy by Natasha Larry This was an interesting story and I'm intrigued to read more! The Princess of Hearts | A Wonderland Academy story by Melanie Karsak I have read other Wonderland Academy books so this was a fun dip back into the world. It was an interesting bit of insight into Aden and Amber's life with the Queen of Hearts. Matriculation A Shifters U. Prequel by Margo Bond Collins and Fionn Jameson An interesting take on an old conflict, Human vs. Werewolf. I like Reika and would like to see where her story goes. Hell Hath No Fury A Dark Harvester University Prequel by Margo Bond Collins and Deb Christie I need to get more Dark Harvester books! I need to know what happens to Elani! Curses Start Somewhere A Grimalkin Academy: Kittens Prequel by Laura Greenwood This was an interesting story. Seems like there is more to the slight/s that Magda feels. What I read seems enough to be upset but vowing revenge ... hmm. More to the story? The Fall of Crestwood An Academy for Lost Souls Prequel by S.K. Gregory This was interesting and had a wicked twist in the end. Rising Prince A Faerie Princess Spy Academy Prequel short story by Solo Storm This was a good short story. Wings of Grief | An Afterlife Academy Story by Arizona Tape This was a great story with a little romance thrown in. Witch Hunt | A Prequel to the Guild of Guardians Academy Series by Skyler Andra I liked this short story ... maybe I'll check out the first book. Dogs of Summer | A Hunters' Academy Summer 1 Short Story by Ivy Hearne This was a good short story. Mystic Manor | A Halloween Academy Prequel by Angela Kulig & Angela Sanders This was a fun read. Admission to Rosewilde Academy of Magical Arts by B.C. Palmer and Marie Robinson This was a great short story. Mistakes/Changes in DWtD (part 1)

Practically all of the mistakes I made are because I was drawing/writing too quickly. The ones I could fix, I fixed. I have also possibly changed some story elements or designs after I posted the comic.

Fun Facts

Here are all of the demons in panel 17. Only about nine characters are fully designed and about the same amount are important to the story in some way. There is no one seated on the second row of the rightmost column, but that is because I based the infernal hierarchy (and extension the seating) on The Lesser Key of Solomon/Lemegeton. I assigned the ranks to individual kings and, by doing this, Paimon ended up without a president. Belial is the only demon intended to be absent.
