Still workin' on it! Megaman x Skullgirls!AU featuring: Umbrella (n' Hungrn) x Kalinka and Skull Man

After Dr. Cossack being one of the men victim to the Droid Heart(via cyborg/mechanical infusion), this leaves the other Cossack robots and especially Kalinka, distraught. What was left of her father's remains, was a gift that when given to a machine/robot, allows them to take form of any inanimated object (as some sort of disguise). This gift was actually an amulet, that when worn by both the host and 'parasite', become immediately bonded and linked to one another, thus they can feel each other's emotions, thoughts, and of course, sense the Skulldroid. However, the form taken by the machine is only a one-time deal, so they cannot change into other forms. (Not sure why this may be, atm I think it could just be a limited resource issue).

In this case, Skull Man decided to turn into an umbrella. He thought that by taking in this shape, he would look less imposing or something that won't stand off too much. This may also be symbolism of being a protector and enabling Kalinka's protection from any harm.

This also turns them into a hidden vault for recovering any data from damaged robots/robot masters. This vault is specially modified to keep out of the Skulldroid's influences, or from being stolen. This is used to hopefully recover the lost personalities and memories of lost machines.

With the resurgence of the Skulldroid, Kalinka feels destined to try and find a way to get her father back, even if it means putting herself into danger. Even with Skull Man by her side and not allowing her from taking on a very dangerous task, Skull Man himself also feels obligated and even sorta of encourages Kalinka to follow through, as he too is entrances from what power the Skulldroid holds. (FYI, some info may be changed, idk, I'm just writing all this out and see what would make sense and stick to the actual game it's crossovering. Also, I did meant to post this a lot earlier, but I guess I didn't post it here, for some reason.)

Flaming hot Vigilante

Just discovered @sparkpop's Skullgirls x Megaman AU and decided to draw a concept of Fireman if he has Big Band's Role.

So pretty much, I would have imagined that Fireman's Design would be a mix of his classic/Archie/Megamix Design with his Fully Charged Counterpart's design, as well as theming him after a western vigilante/sheriff alongside making him look Big band Coded, and yes, I did have problems designing the poncho to be Big Band's coat coded, it was a struggle but I managed to beat the struggle and make it. Oh yeah, the black around his eyes meant to show the hard-boiled cowboy look on his face. And hear me out; the only instrument that is focused on this guy is a Pyrophone aka a Fire Organ (Which is hidden somewhere in his system)

But anyways, hope you guys like this concept! (And yes, Fireman does have arms and busters for hands, they are just hidden well in the big poncho of his)

Skullgirls x Megaman!AU featuring: Squigly x Spark Man (nsake as Leviathan)

The third liners were cursed the day they were deemed as traitors by Wily, who they thought was already on mutual terms with, and sent King Dahlia to off any robots he did create and went against him(or maybe he didn't need them anymore, with new found power). "Traitors" was just an excuse, a label to call them, and all the third liners were wiped out. Or so they thought. With the Soul Droid gifted to Shadow Man, uses it's wish to resurrect all of them. Snake knew that something was wrong the day it was even accepted by a mysterious robot, who he's never seen. He planned ahead accordingly (special snake senses), and inputted his data into one of his Petite Snakes, with an inputted command to host any robot with the most heat radiating after death. Before their last remanence of robotic sentience, they were all under the Skulldroid's(Shadow Man) influence. The Petite Snake was already launched by Snake's orders before he deactivated. The snake ended up with Spark's body, since he had recently died after all the others, the last to seize function. (In Squigly's story mode, she's shot by Black Dahlia's gun through the head. In this, Spark actually gets struck in the chest by Shadow Blade for getting in the way.) (Note: I'll stop here, but if you've played Squigly's story, you'd know the rest of the events takes place as almost exactly as it does ingame.

I wanted to hold this off a little after I got on and finished doing the concept for King's weapon here (a hybrid melee/gun), but I know myself too well an procrastinate so I'm posting it now. "Black King(?)/King Dahlia(yeah that's more like it hehe) runs a Chippendale or "Sausage Shack" called "The Royal Hare" (ROBOTS AND MECHANOIDS ONLY, humans/fleshy trash bags KEEP OUT). King only wants a world where robots run amuck and where humans are target practice. King Dahlia let's his trusted assassins-in-training bunny bots, Burner(Bonnie), Pirate(Killer), and Magic Man(Buttercup) be his main "royal" guards, and Dynamo Man(Bookie) is his top assistant and manager of King's well-being(mechanic)."

Megaman x Skullgirls!AU featuring: Double x Mercury(AKA "Father Mercury") It is unknown where Father Mercury originally came from. Mississippi? Orelando? Who Knows!

All that's known is that he runs a Sunday school down in the smaller parts of Monstropolis. Recently, some straaange rumors has been goin' around, rumors about Father Mercury and him not actually coming from any factory or government that had issued a preacher bot!

No identification files either. And he is sometimes seen praying to a mysterious figure with 6 arms and red markings.

In his spare time, Mercury talks to the Droid Heart, telling it of finding the next Skulldroid, for years to come. For another machine, to take over humanity.

Some update on the Skullgirls casting!

Roll = Filia/Flash = Samson ; Leviathan and Samson seem to be known rivals or know each other, they’re counterparts to one another.

Snake and Flash, both I see as the “shady” and nasty of their lines. Snake is more quite about it. Another reason for Flash being Samson, y’know, “SO MUCH HAAAIR” reference. We’re still doing it the Skullgirls way, so there will be callbacks n’ gags of internet/fan culture.

Waltz = Fukua.

Straightforward. Except her “Samson” is Reggae.

Pluto = Ms. Fortune/Slash = Robo-Fortune.

Very straightfoward, both are cats. Though, both are robots, one is more “feline”. The other is wild, and a copy-cat.

Even though the Stardroids are working against humanity in this one, let’s say Pluto wanted to lay off serious world domination, and turned to living an ordinary life on Earth. Now, he’s store-manager if his own soup kitchen, with Toad (Minette) as the server, as well as his friend!

Clown Man = Cerebella

Again, should be straightforward! He’s still a lil mischievous in this AU, but acts accordingly to some serious situations.

Ring Man = Parasoul.

I don’t remember if I’ve already stated I casted Ring from the last post, just to be sure!

So I've been thinking, what if, I mash my two favorite video game characters from my two favorite game franchise into one? Megaman and Skullgirls

I give you, Squigly x Spark Man. With Snake Man now taking appearance as a Petite Snakey in place of Leviathan lol (I had some lore behind how they got like this but it's pretty cringe haha)

I had a few more in mind, if I feel confident enough, I'll prolly continue this silly phase lolol

Ok, just an idea for your Skullgirls x Megaman thingy, I imagined that Fireman would be Big Band, but instead of being a noir detective, he would be a Vigilante/Sheriff of Flamin’ hot Justice.

OH MY GOD!!!! SOMEONE ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT MY SKULLGIRLSXMEGAMAN! AU?!?!?! THANK YOU!! AND HONESTLY THAT'S A GREAT IDEA!

i HAD OTHERS ALREADY FILLED OUT and some are ones that I'm still debating over: Mercury= Double (He's the giver of Ra Moon's words, like how Double is with the Skullheart, plus I HC Mercury can liquify and shapeshift to a degree like Double)

King= Black Dahlia (I thought of King just running his own robot harem like Black Dahlia's Bunny Cave and also I wondered who would play as his three bunnies, I thought of something like Burner, Magic, and Pirate, for example)

Metal Man/Shadow Man= Valentine (Metal Man because "No, I am not a dentist" meme, and he also sorta looks like a ninja, and Shadow Man is obvious, but I feel like he'd be more "reserved" for being portrayed as a slutty nurse who likes to dissect people)

Bright Man= Molly (He just gives me "nerdy mechanic/assistant" vibes)

Then there's Pharaoh Man whose obviously Eliza.

Skull Man & Kalinka/Umbrella & Hungrn: (Big parasites who defends their younger girl hostess? Hey I thought this fitted with them the most! Including other things!.)

I think that's it for now, I was planning on continuing this AU, but got unmotivated from doing it because I felt conscious about the idea. Being asked about it now, I think I've reconsidered and might go on to continue it, so, thank you so much anon! 💖 if there are any more ideas anybody wants to add or change, you can ask me PLEASE! I have 2 new character ideas for your Skullgirls AU. I'm thinking Skull Man as Marie, and either Quick Man or Ring Man as Parasoul. Also If you have a better idea for who could be Filia, I'm all ears.

I've already had booked Skull Man as Hungrn (For Kalinka as Umbrella) and Ring Man is Parasoul. I haven't decided on Marie or Filia, yet, but I'll see what I can do!

I just realised Pluto would probably be a great choice for Miss Fortune! Also when I suggested Ice Man as Filia, I didn't have a reason, It was a joke of sorts.

Oh yeah, Pluto's already got the role as Ms. Fortune, so Slash Man is Robo-Fortune!

I thought of redesigning him now because before when I started out brainstorming the SGxMM concept, I didn't really think of how the clothes would wrap around him, but now I think I can work around it. Ignore the uh- top part. I actually sorta back tracked on it because I kept getting the SAME GOD DAYUM recommendation to make Fire Man as Big Band. Please stop asking for a character to take a role of another character, I may not do it. You can always add onto an AU yourself, but please don’t poke dah starter for it to be a thang, since they aren’t my characters lol

It’s also very pushy and comes off ignorant. So, just for some information. I don’t like assholery so I never said anything until now. I think I have to say something, encase it happens again.
