Already Sinking Before It Sets Sail? Skull and Bones Open Beta Impressions
Happy Tuesday Gamers, The Skull and Bones open beta was released a few days ago and initially I was excited to jump into it after seeing the invitation via email. I had my eye on this game from a few years back, probably around 2018 or so, and its been pretty under the radar ever since. Recently though, after seeing the newest trailer for the game, I have to admit Skull and Bones caught my…

Skull and Bones: The Next Big Hit of 2024
Ubisoft has always been known for making smash hits that take the gaming world by storm. Some of their biggest games include: The Assassin’s Creed Series, The Tom Clancy Series, as well as many other games that remain popular even today.
This continues to be true with their next flagship game for PlayStation 5: Skull and Bones. This is a game where you dive into the world of pirates, plundering and pillaging villages as you see fit. Players control their character as they manage their way through this world, allowing users to play by their own rules to rise up and become ‘The Ultimate Kingpin’.
Ubisoft has been taking their time with this one, making sure that players get the ultimate experience upon release. This game looks amazing and even though it was announced six years ago and has already been delayed six times, players around the world are still eagerly anticipating the upcoming release of this game.
Ubisoft recently announced they will be launching a new Open Beta in February, available to players everywhere. This allows players to access a game that has not been officially released yet, delighting people across the gaming communities.
The beta will be open starting February 7th, with the game being officially released for Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and PC on February 16th.
Happy gaming!

Minthara's Tent
Today, we're overanalyzing Minthara's tent in camp.
"It does not compare with the comforts of home, but your camp is almost palatial in comparison to my previous accommodation."- Minthara upon being recruited
Description:
Minthara's tent looks gray and bluish-purple to me, but it depends on the lighting. There are four gold stripes in total. There is a carpet beneath, which has the same color scheme. Either side of the tent is very different. There is another smaller rug, this one circular but with the same color scheme, on the left side. Small mushrooms are strung outside the tent, perhaps to make the tent smell like home, while others rest on the left side.
Possessions:
Hammock- Minthara is the only companion who has a hammock within her tent, aside from possibly Halsin. (He no longer has a tent when she is recruited, hence why I couldn't check.) It looks like spider silk to me, and that aligns with Minthara's preferences.
Bedroll- She has a bedroll beside the hammock- which seems pointless to me, but who am I to judge? Maybe Scratch secretly sleeps in her tent. The description is as follows: "The thick fur lining of this traveler's bedding is lightly stained with dirt.
*Minthara, on her first night at camp, tells the PC she won't sleep until she feels safe, so she might use a hammock because she can stand up faster if threatened.
Wooden Box- The wooden box contains the "Glowing Blue Gem".
Glowing Blue Gem- This is within the wooden box. The Underdark is known for containing luminous rocks, so I assume this is from the Underdark; however, I couldn't identify what it is. The closest I could find is Laculite, crystals formed in the subterranean lakes and water pools of the Underdark. That is slightly too green, though.
Bone Torch- She has a torch made of bones, which brings to mind the goblin camp.
Glowing Bulb- A glowing bulb serves as a second torch on the opposite side of her tent.
Pillows- She has 2 pillows, one beside her hammock and the other just outside her tent. Both look purplish gray to me.
Wooden Bowl- She has a wooden bowl, and the description is as follows: "Lumps of a sticky black substance line the inside of this plain bowl."
Rotting Basket- She has a "Rotting Basket" on the left side of her tent. The description is as follows: "Rugged, moist, and split in places, the basket seems about ready to fall apart."
Bucket- She has a bucket on the left side of her tent. The description is as follows: "A red liquid coats the bottom of this bucket. It smells of rust." This liquid is obviously blood. I theorize she brought this, as well as the Rotting Basket, from the Goblin Camp.
Glass Chalice- She has a glass chalice and the description is as follows: "A smooth chalice fabricated by gnome artisans." It's not unlikely it was created by a duergar slave in the Underdark, as they are skilled crafters, although how a duergar would have had access to glass is uncertain.
Box- This box contains a skull.
Skulls- There is 1 skull within a box and roughly 30 surrounding it, some of which are drenched in blood. (You may be thinking "Did you really try to count the skulls? Really?" and the answer is yes.) The bloody skulls are probably recent victims, but the others... who knows? I like to speculate the skull in the box is the Priestess of House Vandree's, kept out for sentimental (if bloody) reasons.
Wooden Table- She has a wooden table, which she keeps her map on.
Map- She has a map on her table. Based off of this and her map at the goblin camp, she evidently knows how to do cartography. I looked at a close-up screenshot of it and compared it to maps of the Underdark I found online, and for the most part it seems to match, so I'd say it's a map of the Underdark.
Mushrooms- Minthara has a few mushrooms on the left side of her tent, which she tends to in her idle animations- remember she had a garden back in Menzoberranzan? At first, I thought they were Nightlight, but they're too round for that. Because they glow and are of an orange hue, I speculate that they are Glowcap mushrooms- edible luminescent fungi found in the depths of the Underdark. Here is their description on the Forgotten Realms wiki: "Glowcap mushrooms were popular among people traveling through the unwelcoming deep cavers of Underdark, providing them with much needed illumination and pleasant-tasting food. Glowcaps emitted cold flickering radiance."
Overall:
Elements of Minthara's tent- i.e. the bone torch- remind me of the Goblin Camp, while others- the mushrooms, the gem, etc.- are reminiscent of the Underdark.
As Minthara states, she is a noble, and this is also reflected in her camp by the glass chalice and the pillows.
I hope you enjoyed this post!

FIRST AND LAST
· · ─────── ·♠️· ─────── · ·
Warnings: canon character death, dark fic.
Summary: The first and the last time you saw Cayde, from the point of view of your Ghost.
FIRST:
It was a day like so many, many others.
I had already scoured the Earth countless times, but I had never been in that part of Old Russia.
For some reason, I felt drawn to the ruins of a highway, and I thought it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try.
I tried to stay cautious; the area was crawling with Fallen, but I managed to slip by unnoticed.
The rusted carcasses of cars still held a few piles of bones, untouched by centuries of decay.
It was in one of them that I found you.
You were nothing more than a shattered skull and a handful of vertebrae, yet I could feel it, I knew it was YOU.
At the mere sight of you, my Light grew stronger and brighter than ever.
“There you are,” I said, before expanding my petals in a flash of light.
I rebuilt your body as if it were a puzzle I had always known, bone by bone, ligament by ligament, muscle by muscle.
I focused my Light to craft clothes for you, as you shivered from the cold after your first breath.
I had imagined your face, your voice, your eyes many times, but nothing could be more perfect than what I saw before me.
You asked me who I was, but there was no understanding in your expression when I answered, though a smile still spread across your face.
The Fallen, not far from us, saw us, raised the alarm, and we were forced to flee.
The half-destroyed ship was a real stroke of luck, and during the return trip, I couldn’t look at anything but you, even though I should have been piloting us back home.
Home. The Tower.
When we arrived, everyone welcomed you, but you still couldn’t quite understand.
A hand on your shoulder made you turn, and pure astonishment painted your face.
"Ah-ha! New Light, welcome to the Hunters," Cayde-6 said to you, and you thanked him with a faint voice, but he heard you all the same, "You're welcome, kid. See ya!" he answered before turning away, his cloak following his fluid movement.
"I like him" you said genuinely, smiling.
LAST:
I will never forget the expression on your face.
I had seen you endure every kind of pain, from burns to bullet wounds, and even though some injuries had led to your temporary death, nothing compared to that.
Pain.
Intense and excruciating.
I could feel it through our bond; it was suffocating, closing your throat and locking up your lungs.
Cayde died, and I could do nothing to stop it, and I could do nothing for you either, except stay by your side every second.
I remember you couldn’t bring yourself to touch him, as if placing your hands on his lifeless body would make everything more real.
Because it didn’t feel real to you; it couldn’t be.
I felt a chasm open up in your Light, a dark and bottomless pit, filled with the screams you wanted to let out, the words you wanted to say to him, and the things you never had time to do together.
You were the one who draped the shroud over his body at the funeral; your eyes were the last to see him.
That night, you begged me that if anything went wrong in your pursuit of fiery vengeance, I was not to revive you, because if he wasn’t with you anymore, then it was better for you to be with him.
--------
Damn, this is OLD. I found it in a dusty folder on my old PC and I thought I could post it here.

when i think of them, i think of...
inspired by this post by @shoccolatine, check it out!
LUCIFER
his smile — whether seductive, sadistic or genuine
reds, blacks/greys/whites, golds
his study — the skull on the wall, fireplace, the red velvet chair | you reading by the fireplace, enjoying the quiet crackling sounds as he works
his demon form — the red gloves, the horns, the wings, the peacock feather details on his clothes, the diamond on his forehead
his fur lined coat, his gloves, his tie
his eyes, specifically the reds at the bottom
apples, poison, fangs, blood
ghosts, grief, loss | him petting a sleeping cerberus as he sits by lilith's statue. he's silent, not wishing to disturb her
how much he loves his family — how he's willing to be a villain to anyone he feels may harm them, from you to his own father
cosmic and body horror, upside-down crosses, eyes, destroyed psyches, crackling, warped reality, the sound of bones snapping
the skeleton in his room
records, wine, comfortable silence, quiet nights
MAMMON
him laughing as he and you drive in a getaway car
his laugh, his smile, his sunglasses, his jacket
that little pose he does where his hand kinda covers his lips, usually done when he's feeling confident
his silliness — the dumb excuses for doing (or not doing) something, his even dumber schemes, running/hiding from lucifer, his tsundere-ness, how he says "yikes!"
gift boxes, jewelery, gold, silver, money (coins and paper)
casinos, the word "jackpot", poker, slot machines, cards, dealers
the casino fight scene in black panther, specifically the part where claw's hand thing shoots the cabinet and the money flies everywhere
his wings
his familiars | him petting and praising them for doing a good job, like catching stray grimm or reporting important info
him punishing people who don't pay back their debts — they find themselves in an empty street, fog rising and crows soon surrounding them
how much he respects lucifer, how he followed him into hell without question
how despite all the fighting and dumb stuff that he does with his family, he still values his role as a big brother
LEVIATHAN
this card (the pre-devil's flower)
him at his pc, laser-focused in on a game. he's glaring at the screen, fangs bared, determined to win
his room — the bathtub, the jellyfish, the aquarium, the figures, henry 2.0 in his little fish bowl
headphones, game controllers and consoles, screens, neon colors (greens, blues, purples), keyboards
anime, magical girls, figures, sparkles
his loud ass OOOOHHHHHHHHHWWOOOOOOOOAHHHHH voice line
his tsundere-ness and shyness, how he gets flustered so easily, how cute he is when he blushes, your love and affection for him being "too high level"
how he seems to have a soft spot for the twins
his demon form — the tail, the diamond pattern along his neck, his weird zipper jacket thing, his horns | (a fic i read where the author described his horns as antlers, and they headcanon-ed that they shed every season)
fish, colorful coral reefs, bright blue seas, bubbles, beaches, snakes
deep dark oceans, octopus/giant squids, sea monsters, ships, the navy, admiral uniforms, lotan
SATAN
orange cats, piano music, books, libraries, coffeeshops, soft greens and browns
him sitting in a greenhouse. sunlight filters through the glass walls and plethora of green plants. he's smiling as he reads a book, an orange cat sleeping in his lap
his professionalism — he has many connections, and he prides himself on his intelligence. "people respect someone who's well-informed."
how he's a gentleman, almost like a fairy tale prince
love and lovesickness | him writing love letters and poetry for you, a giant smile on his face as he comes up with the most beautiful words to describe you
him becoming incapable of reading love stories when you're away, for all he can think about is you while reading them. his fingers delicately trace the spines of his many romance books, but he refuses to open them. just the thought of doing so is too much to bear
his room — the beauitful shade of purple, the window, the books, the candles
fire, chaos, destruction, broken buildings and bones, screaming, rage, fangs
his eyes, a beautiful green
his demon form — the feather boa, the horns, the ribbon ribcage design on his shirt
the things that make him stand out compared to his brothers, compared to everyone — his symbolic animal is a unicorn (the only fantasy animal), his black eye shine, his butler outfit is the only one with three patches on the sleeves
his pose — one hand on his hip and the other on his chest, just like lucifer...
ASMODEUS
pinks, yellows, oranges, and more pinks
his cute smile and giggle
his demon form — the bat wings, the gradient horns, the bleeding hearts on his arm, the asymmetrical legs | (the redesigns i've seen from people where they include a scorpion tail)
scorpions, sand, heat, blood, bloodlust, hearts, gore, passion, obsession, love
diaries, glitter gel, sparkles, cute nicknames
spotlights, music, singing, stages, partying, drinking, clubs, sex
bunnies, strawberries, fluffy and fuzzy textures, fangs
his eyes | (the fics i've read where the author describes their color as champagne)
him lying in bed on his stomach, fresh out of the shower in a cute robe, slippers, and headband. he's writing in his diary, kicking his legs, smiling as he thinks about you
lipstick, blush, makeup, nail polish, influencers, devilgram, livestreams
(red) hearts, both the symbol and the organ
his positive energy — his ability to light up a room, how he wants everyone to join in and have fun, asmo nights, how he sees the beauty in everyone
how much he cares for his family — he painted their nails so everyone would know them as brothers, how he's determined to make sure satan feels included
his insecurities — he ties himself to his image and appearance, to the point that when you were the first to compliment his personality alone and not just his looks, he was surprised
how he acts like a helpless damsel in distress while also being the most viscous character
that scene in season one, where he said that if you were thinking about belphie while with him, he would rip your heart out | (it made my heart beat faster, but not out of fear)
BEELZEBUB
reds, oranges, yellows
the sun, bright blue cloudless skies
him being the cause of plagues and famines. a scene of him summoning swarms of locusts to gorge on crop fields, leaving nothing left, still unsatisfied
wheat and corn fields, apple orchards
his wings | (i saw someone describe them as fairy wings)
dense, mossy, and enchanted forests. twisting trees and twinkling fairies, mushrooms and flowers growing everywhere
bugs — bees, butterflies, flies, grasshoppers, beetles, locusts
bears, squirrels, lions, grass, honey, fluffiness, cuddling
his smile, how adorable his blush is
calling him beautiful or sweet, watching him blush in embarrassment. a big, ravenous demon turning into mush after being complimented by a human
how he loves his family more than anything — his extreme survivor's guilt over lilith, how he said he would die for lucifer, how he became enraged and even attacked lucifer once the truth about belphie's whereabouts were revealed
even with how he's a big brother to belphie, they're still twins, making him the youngest of the brothers as well — he has his own bratty behaviors, throwing tantrums, being a karen at restaurants, stealing food from levi every morning. he's the biggest brother, but he's still another baby of the family
his hair
his jacket and shirt | (they both look very comfy, and i would love to wear them)
hunger — hell's kitchen, banquets, expensive meat, clusters of grapes, plates, forks and knives
fangs, tongues, gore, cannibalism
BELPHEGOR
dark purples and blues, blacks, white accents
space — starry night skies, the moon, constellations
sleep, teddy bears, pillows, blankets, dreams, illusions, ghosts, nightmares, fear
the cow jumped over the moon nursery rhyme
cow print — it's on his pillow, his demon form's jacket, and his swimwear jacket too
his horns, which are similar to that of a dorset horn sheep
him looking down at sheep mc's bell in his hands, a solemn look in his eye. maybe mc's in the human world, or maybe it's been years after their death
regret and grief — not being able to save lilith, his love for humans turning to hatred, his fight with lucifer, the attic, lesson 16
how he and lucifer were said to be close before the attic...
beel, lilith, and love — he doesn't blame beel for saving him, and called beel an idiot for believing otherwise. he learned about the circus in the human world, and pretended to be a ringmaster while trapped in the attic. he let lucifer get rid of lilith's room, and said goodbye to her
his sarcastic and bratty little shit-ness — his "innocent" bitchass smile, his giggle, how he embodies the youngest sibling and baby of the family, the anti-lucifer league
a fanart i saw of him in his TSL outfit, the description being "the princess is locked in the tower for a reason..."

So I stayed up ungodly late last night playing through the Cazador quest/conclusion (?) of the Astarion romance and I have a lot of thoughts!
Overall, I LOVED it. Absolutely loved it. I love how much he has to say about the mansion, I love the design and weirdly oppressive layout of the space, the sinister door, the annoying button/attic puzzle, his relationship with Go...dey? The bone man! When I saw that room was called the kennel I literally said "oh no" out loud.
The one thing I'm mad at myself about is that I didn't understand how to actually get into the stupid palace to start the quest! I couldn't get up that dirt incline right next to the map marker so I thought I had to get into the upper city via Baldur's Gate on the left--that the palace was in the next area altogether--so I've been dithering about with murderers and Lae'zel getting kidnapped (D:! she's safe now though) and hag children and a million other things WHEN I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLING CAZADOR THIS WHOLE TIME. Harrumph.
Anyway, once I actually made it into the darned palace, I didn't have any trouble at all with the fights until I got to Cazador himself. I did think the ritual skull on the pillow was a nice touch, and I loved the confrontation with Sebastian in the cell, just in case the PC has any doubt left about how sane/human these spawn still are. Seven thousand souls! That's so many!! Seven is a lot, but seven thousand, yikes! There was also one room with some levers at the end of the tedious attic puzzle that appeared to have no purpose; I guess it was unfinished from the design stage, as dozens of Reddit threads/forum posts all agree there's no clear puzzle solution or interactable element. Really, the first design misstep I've seen from the game, and even that was pretty minor!
Then came the confrontation with Cazador, and for all I didn't even get touched in the werewolf fight earlier this fight WRECKED me. I didn't understand the mechanic and got everyone sacrificed for the ritual the first time (was focusing on the adds first), and then the second time I checked the journal and it said "Help Astarion" and so I wasted two turns getting to him only to discover they meant "help Astarion by killing Cazador," not "free Astarion with the Help action" because that sure didn't work, so he got sacrificed again! Then the third time I focused Cazador better until he Called Lightning on Shadowheart and Karlach and killed them both, and then I finally scraped it out on the fourth try. A really, really tough fight! If I didn't have the six summoned ghouls from the Thay book I don't know if I could have done it with this party.
The choices available afterwards are FASCINATING. I played through them all again, and I loved that in every version he absolutely butchers that vamp with as much violent stabbing as I've seen in a video game. And that little flip of the knife to the reverse grip! So deft! He's a rogue! It's like there's thought and care behind these animations!! Incredible! The choices where you don't help him are absolutely awful--the enraged venom in "I'd say good luck out there, but honestly, I hope you die screaming"--and the flat "Your companion has permanently left the party" made my stomach clench. The version where you help him ascend is also horrifying; are there many other quests where both companions are like, "this is a HORRIBLE IDEA, don't do this!!"? And afterwards Karlach said something about "all those souls..." and she looked like she was about to cry, which was the second worst thing in the world aside from the time I had to break up with her because I didn't realize we were dating. Everything is red and evil and we get nice close-up views of the spawn in agony and bursting and then Astarion's eyes glow red as sin forever. I did really like the explicit confirmation that the infected can use the parasites to see out of each other's eyes; that's given me a couple fic ideas already!
I will say the scene of him crying & screaming was unspeakably cathartic and I was yelling at the screen to let me hug him. YELLING. Thank God I live alone! Again, the tenor differences between this scene in the "insight/persuade him to be better than Cazador" track vs. the "flatly deny to help him" track were shocking. I can't believe how different the exact same animation set felt between the two versions! Unbearable relief & grief vs. total impotent despair--no wonder he tries to kill you in a few of the bad endings (on top of deciding on his own to snap the staff & trap the spawn forever).
Regardless, once the ritual was disrupted and the spawn were saved and freed and Cazador was a lolling pincushion, I couldn't figure out how to trigger the follow-up scene I KNEW had to be there, even though I'd already done Shadowheart's personal quest & should have known I needed to long-rest, lmao. I wandered around like a dope for several minutes before finally triggering it.
I really, really liked this romance scene a lot. I liked that there isn't even an option to break up at this point; just like ME3, the romance is locked in and you can just play around inside that structure, which I thought was fantastic! I am sad that it opened with what I expected, which is him resigning himself to eventually being trapped in the darkness & never seeing sunlight again, and the fact that the game let you pick "maybe we'll figure something out with the tadpoles" only for Astarion to express doubt does make me worried for long-term outcomes. My favorite options once you get to the graveyard were to just stay back and let him talk, but I'm honestly really delighted that we got this scene of pretty significant emotional closure for him, and I loved the animation of him carving the year into the headstone. It seemed so immersive & real that even though we can't read the text, we know exactly what he did.
The only incredibly, incredibly, INCREDIBLY minor things I didn't adore about this scene are that first, when he tells you he loves you, his head animation is weirdly still/frozen the whole time on that set of lines despite his expression changing, and it honestly broke my immersion a little bit. The ambient movements of the characters have been so realistic for so many dozens of hours that to have this seriously critical and important moment for the character be almost rigid, especially against a completely silent music-less background, made it stick out as an "oh yeah, this is a video game" reminder. Bummer!
The other thing is that it's icky to have sex in a graveyard, lmao. Tavish doesn't really care because it's just dirt under them--he's literally standing in front of her, so as far as she's concerned it's not that different from the forest--but I did grimace a little. Someone give these dingdongs a bed! or at least a roof!
Anyway! A fantastic romance and super strong writing/consistent characterization throughout, and I'm pumped to see where it's going to go next. I'm still so curious about how the tadpole outcomes will affect things and faintly hoping for a deus ex machina to keep him in the sun, though I suppose that's what fic's for. Regardless, full sign-off on an utterly satisfying romance; so many little things dropped throughout were EXACTLY what I wanted--you can even accuse him of sincerity in the graveyard scene, which is precisely the arc I was hoping he'd have! He didn't even like you in the beginning and now we're smooching next to a bunch of dead people. What isn't romantic about that?
10/10 Larian, thanks for making me a mess for another white-haired grump.

Skyhold Conversation
Surgeon
Skyhold Masterpost
Surgeon: Inquisitor? Is there something I can do for you? I should really focus my attention on the injured.
1 - Dialogue options:
Investigate: Are there many wounded? [2]
Investigate: Are you new here? [3]
Investigate: Don’t we have mages? [4]
General: Goodbye. [5]
2 - Investigate: Are there many wounded? PC: Do we have many injured men? Surgeon: Fewer by the day. The most grievously injured did not survive the journey to Skyhold. As for the rest, they either heal or… (Sighs.) I try to make the passing painless. [back to 1]
3 - Investigate: Are you new here? PC: I haven’t seen you before. Surgeon: The commander brought me up from the refugee camps. I’d been helping the pilgrims in simple ways. Setting broken bones, simple amputations and such. We need all the help we can get. [back to 1]
4 - Investigate: Don’t we have mages? PC: You aren’t a mage… shouldn’t we let the mage healers deal with this? Surgeon: Magic can’t cure everything, and we shouldn’t rely on it. Science, Your Worship, is the way of the future. Good health isn’t magic. It’s diet, exercise, and a balance of the humors. [back to 1]
5 - General: Goodbye. PC: As you were. Surgeon: Your Worship.
—
Ambient Dialogue
Blackwall recruited, personal quest not started Surgeon: I wonder what it is that gives Grey Wardens their legendary skill and stamina. I should like to study one. Would that fine fellow I’ve seen in your company consent to a careful examination?
Post-WEWH Surgeon: Have you heard of the new procedures coming out of Orlais? A hole drilled into the skull will cure most ailments! Imagine, not to be dependent on magic!
General
Surgeon: Hmm, somewhat off-color today, Inquisitor? An excess of bile, perhaps. Might I bleed you? Or offer an herbal tonic?
Surgeon: Try not to touch the leeches. They are quite delicate.
Surgeon: A word to the wise: when all else fails, amputate.
Surgeon: Ah, excuse the smells in the infirmary. Someone spilled their guts not an hour ago. Literally.
Surgeon: Come for a bloodletting?
Surgeon: Your visits do lift the spirits of the wounded, Inquisitor.

Pardon my recent absence. I was met with a strange chain of misfortune...
First I got a stress fracture on my heel bone. My husband sprained his ankle when getting up from his chair. Last week's Friday evening my PC shut down unexpectedly and was thrown into an endless reboot loop (of course when no repair shops were open). The next morning my necklace broke. At this point I got the feeling that something is not right. I must be cursed. On Sunday I was expecting to be hit with yet another disaster. I was nervously glancing at the ceiling lamp, waiting for it to fall down on my head and crack my skull. Luckily I avoided that fate - for now.
Then I started thinking back on recent events. Right before the unfortunate events befell us I had met a Mimikyu in Pokémon Ultra Moon who said "Me…me curse…you…". I had defeated a Mimikyu in battle. My husband had traded me a Mimikyu from his game. A coincidence? I think not! Just look at Mimikyu's Pokédex entries:
"Sad that its true identity may be exposed, Mimikyu will mercilessly seek revenge on any opponent that breaks its neck."
"A gust of wind revealed what hides under this Pokémon’s rag to a passing Trainer, who went home and died painfully that very night."
"There was a scientist who peeked under Mimikyu’s old rag in the name of research. The scientist died of a mysterious disease."
I think and hope my curse has been lifted by now. I got my PC repaired swiftly (the memory contacts had oxidization and were cleaned), my foot is a lot better already (no swelling and pain), my husband's ankle is a lot better too, and my necklace is waiting for repair at a goldsmith's shop. I've even had lucky things happen to me. My husband spoiled me with a big Clefairy Squishmallows plush. The price tag said 39,99 € but according to the receipt it actually cost only 25 €! I caught a shiny Golduck in Pokémon Ultra Moon! I managed to breed multiple max IV pokémon! So maybe Mimikyu's curse is gone - at least the signs are promising.
Take care and watch out for suspicious Mimikyus, people!
