The Trollzory Family

Yes I’m insane your point is?

Welp here’s my Isabella family take two, now with Dickory in the mix! Cause honestly I love this little yodeler he needs more love.

Isabella’s other parent is unknown. All that’s known about them is how vehemently Trollzart hates them. He’s kept a tight lid on their identity, not so much to protect them, but as to make sure they’re forgotten. Anytime someone would ask about them, Trollzart would go rigid, saying that this troll would be better off dead, safe to say the relationship did not end well.

The only good thing that came from the relationship in Trollzart’s eyes, was Isabella. When she hatched, Trollzart struggled quite a bit. He had no idea how to raise a baby, especially on his own. Delta and Barb, both being single parents at the time, did their best to help him, and sort of formed a support group. And while their support helped, Trollzart always had this nagging guilt over not being able to support her properly, at least in his eyes.

Enter Dickory.

Dickory had been alone for a few years at this point, at least in a living situation. Hickory had gone off and gotten married, and Dickory knew he needed to step back and let Hickory have a life of his own without him constantly overshadowing him. Dickory was admittedly lonely, trying to find a new direction in life now that his little brother had grown up and settled down. While, at a large gathering in Trollstopia celebrating the anniversary of it’s founding, and the union of all Trolls, Dickory is sitting on the side working on a small wood carving when a tiny pink baby floats over to him and dives into his arms, turning around to start chewing on the small piece of oak.

Dickory is stunned, but endeared at the little troll. He glances around for a similarly colored troll, only to find the Conductor of the Classical Trolls racing towards him, stuttering a dozen of apologies. Dickory waves him off, handing the baby back to the flustered parent. Trollzart continues to apologize, saying how ever since she started teething, she’s been running around looking for things to chew on. Dickory thinks for a moment, before quickly changing the small carving into a smooth, curving stick, handing it to little Isabella. He explains how when his little brother was a baby, he carved small, wooden sticks for him to chew on when he started teething, so that he didn’t chew on anything else. Trollzart expresses his gratitude, and shyly asks for some more pointers.

The two were close ever since. Dickory began traveling to Symphonyville to meet with Trollzart, both to help him with Isabella, and just to spend time with Trollzart. Over the next few years, their relationship turned from friendship to romantic, and a few years after that, they officially tied the knot, and Dickory adopted Isabella.

Isabella grew up relatively spoiled and coddle by both her fathers. Since Trollzart wanted to give her everything she ever wanted, and Dickory had just missed have a baby to dote over.

Isabella loves her fathers dearly. She does her best to live up to being a good composer like Trollzart is, constantly practicing her conducting and music writing. She’s always out and about in Symphonyville, tending to the needs of the Classical trolls. Trollzart and Dickory look on in pride, and tend to start crying at random. The two are just so dang proud of their baby! Dickory has made many small carving to celebrate Isabella’s accomplishments, which she keeps proudly displayed in their home.
