taylor hebert from worm is a great protagonist because she wanted to be a superhero her whole life, started an intense workout routine to prepare herself, endured horrible bullying because she wanted to keep her powers a secret, made herself a superhero costume using spider silk, but the first night she goes out in costume she almost gets murdered, "necroses" a notorious villain's penis, forms an alliance with the shadiest "hero" there is, gets mistaken for a villain because her costume is too edgy and gets invited to join a supervillain team. all this in the first arc. i love worm.

I've seen this ship done precisely twice. Once in a smut one-shot that didn't really explore it to the fullest. And the other time was a fic that died after four short chapters. What am I talking about? But of course,

Danny Hebert x Bakuda

Think about it. Taste it. So many possibilities for drama and sitcom, character development and interaction.

Taylor, having to contend with the fact that her father got a new woman in his life. The woman that isn't even a decade older than her. A woman with an extremely loud personality, which may or not be similiar to one of her bullies. A woman who may or may not interact with the aforementioned bullies, which will be whole thing. And also that woman is also an up-and-coming terrorist working for the second-most racist gang in the city.

Bakuda dating guy about twice her age (not inherently funny, but could reveal a lot about her character). A guy who has a kind of weird and sad kid hanging around. A kid who looks suspiciously how Bakuda must've looked not long before her trigger. To whom, of course, Bakuda will actually try to be a motherly figure of sorts, because how hard could that be? (Just do the opposite of what her own parents did.) And the kid turns out to be indeed a cape, specifically the new horrorshow insect cryptid one that put Bakuda's boss in hospital and also chopped off Bakuda's toe.

Danny, of course, dating a woman half his age. Probably happy to find love, but also having to navigate the feelings of his daughter, and the explosive temperament of his girlfriend. Which may or may not remind him of younger Annette. Remaining generally unaware of the parahuman bullshit happening just a few feet away from him, and yet obviously suspecting something is afoot.

I think it's pretty clear that Lily and Sabah are among the core members of the Undersiders, unlike Taylor who barely– *gets swarmed by 20,000 bees*

I hate how people try to discredit Taylor being a mental support for most of the undersiders and hand it to Lisa. Like Lisa did jack shit for all the undersiders including Taylor to be counted as their mental support. Taylor was the one supporting Lisa, physically and mentally, by taking out Coil and Helping her out with her trauma. Taylor was the one trying to help Brian with family’s stuff and trauma post SH9 arc.

Taylor was the one helping Rachel by trying to understand and reach out towards her as a friend. Like out of original 5, Taylor was the glue that made the team come together. So why is she always fucking discredited for it . The fandom decides to turn a blind eyes and give it to Lisa. To the Women who couldn’t really help emotionally her best friend who she definitely knows is suicidal.

It drives me up the wall how a portion of the fandom tries to discredit Taylor’s emotional moments that show how much humanity she has in her.
