Leto was making a mad dash through the forest that separated Meteor Lake and Sealight Village. She had made plans to be at meteor lake early in the morning, it get there right when there was still a bountiful amount of Sand hearts, however, she had miss judged the time difference between Savar and Skire, and now she was running far more behinded then she would have liked to admit.

Her hooves hit the ground with one thud after the next as she continued to run, pushing through branches and brushing as they snapped from the force of her pushing them. Others clung to her fur or scratched deep into her skin, yet she persisted, running as if her life depended on it. Soon, her hooves went from hitting solid ground to shifting sand as she approached the shores of Meteor Lake. Her pace slowed until she came to a halt, her lungs on fire as she took in gulps of air trying to catch her breath. She scanned the area, seeing most of the people remaining already giving sand hearts to their loved ones or walking away with their haul.

A twinge of fear ran through her. She hoped she wasn't too late. She walked along the shore slowly, scanning the sand to see if she could catch the glint of a sand heart, occasionally she even fell to her knees, using her hands to shift through the sand to see if she could find an elusive sand heart hidden in the sand. Yet the hours ticked on, and the day continued as the sun came over the sky and soon started to dip over the horizon.

Leto had already searched around the lake twice now. Yet no matter how hard she looked, how hard she dug around in the sand, she couldn't seem to find a single sand heart. She sat on her knees, looking out into the lake, having long given up. On looking for the precious hearts. It was true that more would wash up on the shores by the next day, but she had her heart set on getting one that day. She sighed, shifting to bring her knees up to her chest. She wanted badly to find a Sand Heart still, yet she knew it wasn't worth looking around the lake a third time.

As she sat, her ears twitched as she heard the sound of sand shifting behind her. Before she could turn to look, she felt a hand rest on her shoulder. Finally turning her head, her heart dropped as she saw the Farmer standing there behind her. Normally, she would be filled with a fuzzy warmth every time she saw him, but right now, seeing him only reminded her what she failed to do.

“Hey fuzzbuzz.” The Farmer said with a slight chuckle as he walked around to stand, then sat down next to her. “You ran out this morning without saying goodbye, and you hadn't come back, I thought something might be wrong.” The Farmer said, a small smile tugged on his lips, but there was still a hint of concern in his voice. Leto paused before letting out a long sigh.

“I'm sorry, Beanieboo, I just…” she paused for a moment. She wanted to keep what she was doing a surprise, but it's not like it really mattered at this point. “I just wanted to find you a Sand Heart…” Leto muttered, her voice low in defeat as she lowered her head. The Farmer paused, he lifted up his hand and gently rested it on Leto's arm. “But I couldn't find one… I looked everywhere.” She muttered, her voice low as she buried her face into her knees, her tail wrapped around her and over her hooves. The Farmer rubbed his hand along her arm, trying to comfort her. He stopped as he reached in his pocket to grab something.

“Sand Heart… you mean one of these?” He asked. Leto's head shot up as she looked down at his hand. She froze as she saw it, the sheen of the crystalline heart, a few flecks of sand over it as it glimmered in the light of the setting sun.

“Where… where did you…?” She asked, but the Farmer only grabbed both her hands.

“I found it while I was walking over here. I almost missed it.” He confessed. He gently opened Leto's hands. He placed the delicate heart in her hands. “I heard you give these to those who you love, right? Then I want to give this to you.” He said, his voice soft as he tilted his head up, his smile soft as his cheeks flushed a tint of pink. The sight made Leto's heart melt. She feared she would start crying there and then, but she kept it together.

“Beanie…” Leto muttered, her voice quivering as it dared to crack under the intense pressure of her emotions. “I looked so hard to find one for you… and you…” She paused before she started to laugh, a few tears escaped her mouth, as she quickly wiped them away. “You really are something else.” She said as she leaned in, using one hand to tilt his hand up by lifting up his chin, before placing a tender kiss on his forehead, her own coming to rest against his own. “I love you so much.” She muttered. The Farmer was a full shade of crimson as he smiled, but soon his high came down as he sighed.

“I love you too.” He responded, both sitting there in a moment of tender silence, only broken when Leto let out a giggle. She reached out her arms, the Sand heart still in hand, wrapping them around the Farmer as she picked him up easily. The Farmer only laughed in response, used to Leto picking him up as if he were nothing. After all, compared to her, he basically was nothing.

“Let's head home.” She said as she nuzzled her face against his, making sure to be mindful of her antlers as she walked towards the forest to head home, the entire way both laughed and giggled, as they returned home in each other's embrace.

For Skire’s 11th anniversary I think

The only good thing about the Skire arpg is how fast admins approve the submitted prompts. There’s not really a lot to do atm, like no collectibles, crafting is bare, customization is barely there. Like I love Skire but damn I would love for them to make it so that you can do more things.

UHHHH OKAY SO IDK HOW TO EXPLAIN THIS BUT

Basically in skire you can get a arpg myo slot for 400 crowns once every 3 months. I got one 3 months ago so I can get one again on the 20th. I try to get them as soon asni can so I can start the count down timer again asap. In short I have 2 crowns 😭😭😭

BUT with the newest update they introduced 6 starter prompts which are avaliable to new and old users, plus the spring prompt, PLUS mainstay. So I couuuld get it done pretty early of I wanted to.

But that's where YOU come in. Since all of my skire characters exist in Astro-vision, while I could write about their cannon story, I figured I'd roll with the hyperfixation and write about them In Astro-vision. Question is who would you like to see?

I'd love some recommendations on what Astro-vision charecters you wanna see me write about interacting with my skire characters [you don't have to recommend a skire character, just one of my smg4 characters or au versions of the cast, like Starz, Nill, Midas, Rowan, AV! Puzzles, AV! Bob etc]
