Today’s Sketchtember art has a bit of a story.

I remember a while ago, people made a joke about @whitemantis‘s characters Vygo and Indrys accidentally re-learning fire breath (a technique lost to their people for ages) during a burping contest. Mantis said it wasn’t possible, but the imagery stuck in my mind because of how silly and adorable it sounded.

So here are the twins being adorable. Hope you all enjoy.

There are several "rabbit with antlers" creatures in the world, possibly due to the Shope papilloma virus actually causing antler like growths in lagomorphs, but my favourite is probably the Wolpertinger as it encompasses just about everything. Technically they can be a mix of just about any small animal, but I admit I'm a sucker for the "rabbit with bird wings, antlers and fangs" classic.

Watercolour has had a nice draw over, the paper I originally painted him on was so heavily textured it was hard to pick out any details. Now that I've done that he feels so much better and finished :) Hopefully will get some prints made up seeing as he was so popular?
