I was unexpectedly tagged by @evilmuffin, so I figured why not? 1. Are you named after anyone? Nope. I wasn’t even actively looking for a name, I just happened to be on Tumblr one day looking at a bunch of trans blogs, and happened to hear the name Quinn, and immediately thought, “Hey, that’s a cool name, I’m gonna try that!” Clearly it stuck. 2. When was the last time you cried? A few hours ago. Some advice, if you ever have to make a college board account, make sure you use your legal name to save yourself a lot of trouble in the long run.

3. Do you have/want kids? Absolutely not. Gross. Kids are... Frankly, I can’t stand the things. 4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Me? Sarcastic? Never.

5. What’s the first thing you notice about a person? Hair and clothes. IDK why.

6. What’s your eye colour? Blue-grey

7. Scary movie or happy ending? Scary movie, definitely. Happy endings are overrated.

8. Any special talents? I can touch my thumb to the inside of my wrist. Only on my right, though.

9. Where were you born? Ohio in the USA. I will defend ranch to my death.

10. What are your hobbies? Singing, writing, reading, art, and researching incredibly specific facts for the sake of writing that I probably won’t do for months.

So, the premise is that Grian is helping Joe restore this small castle- "small" being relative, considering it's, y'know, a castle- but Mr. Hills conveniently left out the itty bitty detail that the whole place is SEVERELY HAUNTED.

The rest of the Hermits are ghosts. I'm still working out exactly what kind each of them are, but we have a few settled ones like Scar and Cub are poltergeists and False is a classic apparition and Zed may or may not be a literal sheet ghost.

The whole AU takes place during the period where the castle is undergoing restoration. A lot it is still in the weeds right now, and brother I'm sharpening my shears
