Just Finished: Tony Hawk's Underground

Ok I did my truces with Underground and we were able to find some love in between.

However I still maintain my output that getting off the skateboard and driving nonsense vehicles just because , it kinda ruined the charm of the original games. Nevertheless the story mode, and gaining stats by excelling your gameplay was a pretty nice improvement.

Now that final mission. What the #$$€€ was wrong with you Neversoft?? Jesus Crist you almost killed my self-esteem...

I noticed your love of tragic characters which I definitely get. But I also like to balance out the angst with lightheartedness. Do you enjoy any wholesome animes/mangas?

Hi there,

Yeah, I'm genuinely drawn toward the more dramatic and tragic, for sure. I just like stories that have a lot of substance and character depth. But certainly there's some anime's I love that aren't tragedies. I love "Yuri! on Ice", which is one of my favorites, which definitely is on the more positive side. I watched "Sk8te the Infinity" not too long ago, which was fun too. I also love action anime's like "Vampire Hunter D", "Hellsing" and "Psycho-Pass", "Ninja Scroll" etc... I was really into "Dragon Ball Z" for a long time, haha. I loved "Violet Evergarden", even though that could be classified as a tragedy too, with a happy ending of course. I really like Studio Gibli's stuff, and films like "Weathering with You" and "Your Name". "The Garden of Words" as well. I know there's a lot of controversy surrounding "Rurouni Kenshin", but if you ever want to see one of the best anime films of all time "Trust and Betrayal" is an incredible work of art. Another tragedy, but it's an incredibly beautiful film. In general, I'm definitely more drawn toward dramatic and heavy stories, but there's some more light-hearted stuff I like as well.

"Bright Lights of Svetlov" se présente sous la forme d'un jeux d'aventure épisodique apparemment simple, où les joueurs auront l'occasion d'incarner les membres d'une famille russe ordinaire des années 80. La routine quotidienne se répétera de manière presque monotone et étouffante, créant une ambiance immersive. Cependant, les changements de perspective et l'approche narrative évitent que le jeu devienne ennuyeux ou excessivement pesant. D'autant plus que sa durée totale d'environ une heure garantit que le déroulement de l'histoire ne deviendra pas une contrainte. Les activités quotidiennes banales telles que le nettoyage de la maison, la finalisation des travaux de tapisserie ou encore la vérification des devoirs de la fille s'entrecroiseront, formant le tissu de l'expérience. Cependant, ces éléments familiers seront perturbés par des événements dévastateurs qui briseront la monotonie de la vie de la famille. Sans trop dévoiler les détails, il est important de se préparer à ressentir une certaine angoisse et tristesse en jouant, en particulier si vous réussissez à vous connecter émotionnellement avec les personnages principaux de l'histoire. La capacité du jeu à susciter des émotions profondes est une indication de la manière dont il exploite l'interaction immersive propre aux jeux vidéo pour raconter des histoires complexes et touchantes. En enveloppant les joueurs dans la routine de la famille, puis en perturbant cette routine avec des événements bouleversants, "Bright Lights of Svetlov" crée une expérience narrative qui incite à la réflexion et peut potentiellement laisser une marque émotionnelle durable.

Si vous n’êtes pas très à l’aise dans le monde du Sk8te, vous aller pouvoir enfin connaitre les noms des différentes figures grâce au Triktionnaire. Il récapitule tous les tricks qu’il est possible de faire. Pour expliquer le gameplay, c’est avec le joy gauche que vous ferez essentiellement vos tricks. La manipulation s’apparente à l’amorce d’une attaque dans street fighter pour un Hadoken ou dans les anciens Dragon Ball Z pour un Kameha. Il suffit donc de déplacer le joy dans une direction et de le relâcher pour effectuer son trick (version simplifiée). Pousser le joy à gauche permet de faire un Kickflip, un quart de cercle arrière c’est un Back Shove. Quant aux tricks complexes, c’est avec un 3 quarts de cercle ou un demi-cercle qu’on peut faire des 360 flip ou des 540 front shove it. Si vous pensiez que c’est compliqué, il y a plus complexe et plus difficile à sortir. On peut compter sur un va-et-vient demi-cercle pour un fingerflip ou encore un va-et-vient demi-cercle-cercle-complet pour un backfoot laser flip. Qu’est-ce qu’il ne faut pas faire pour atteindre le Gnarvana Ultime ! On a la possibilité de faire des Grind ou des Wall toujours avec le joy gauche. Il s’agit tout simplement de rouler sur un mur ou de glisser sur un rail. Puis enfin arrive le moment d’user du joy droite pour des grinds spéciaux ou des grabs, des gâchettes pour faire des rotations ou encore d’utiliser notre touche d’accélération pour faire des Manuels. Petit à petit, tout est expliqué et c’est vraiment la plus-value de ce nouvel opus. On est vraiment bien accompagné.

L'Équilibre Délicat entre Gameplay Minimaliste et Récit Émotionnel

En examinant de plus près le gameplay de "Bright Lights of Svetlov", on pourrait le juger comme étant relativement minimaliste et basique. En effet, les interactions disponibles se résument principalement à ramasser certains objets et à les utiliser à des emplacements prédéterminés. Une liste de tâches à accomplir guide le joueur tout au long de l'expérience, indiquant clairement les actions à entreprendre. Ce choix de gameplay restreint vise à diriger l'attention du joueur vers les éléments narratifs et émotionnels du jeu. Les visuels du jeu sont remarquablement conçus, en particulier compte tenu du fait qu'il a été développé par une seule personne. Les détails et les textures à l'intérieur de l'appartement, qui constitue le principal cadre du jeu, sont soigneusement élaborés et satisfaisants même pour les joueurs les plus exigeants. En revanche, les environnements extérieurs, notamment les autres maisons et le garage, présentent une attention moindre aux détails et à l'aspect général. La décision de ne pas inclure de bande sonore n'est pas nécessairement un inconvénient. Les seuls sons que le joueur entendra seront ceux produits par ses propres actions, créant ainsi une ambiance qui met en relief l'importance de chaque geste et renforce l'atmosphère oscillant entre l'ennui et le découragement caractéristique d'une vie humble. Les rares pistes musicales qui apparaissent seront liées à l'utilisation du lecteur de cassettes ou de la vieille télévision du salon, renforçant l'immersion dans l'époque des années 80. Le portage sur PlayStation a malheureusement souffert d'un manque d'attention et de soin évident. Un inconvénient majeur réside dans l'incapacité de choisir la langue du jeu sur cette plateforme, ce qui rendra le titre automatiquement en russe et inutilisable pour la plupart des utilisateurs. No seriously because since 2021 when they got together ana anas not left the country once and when she was with sk8te he used to fly her OUTTTT for birthdays and what not even with her friends they would just take trips. I mean my brain is saying that melo just isn’t taking her and she’s settling but I low key want to give them the benefit of the doubt and say it’s because they’re definitely not vaccinated lol. They’ll be abroad by the end of this year🤞

She definitely is settling on that with him. I think Melo just doesn’t see a point in traveling anymore. He spent the majority of his teens everywhere but home, so now that he has freewill he wants to spend all his time in that house, and Ana is just cool with it now I suppose. They’re abroad right now for that Puma thing & she seems to be enjoying her time outside of Charlotte.
