This might seem out of context but hear me out:

As y'all probably already know, I have been fond of Limbus Company, and I have devised a strategy to pulling what I want.

I have just been getting either EGO or the actual IDs themselves back to back, or BOTH at once-

Finally got around to finishing this guy!

A grumpling adopted by the Journalist themselves after the events of Snaktooth, although their job tends to keep them away from them, they still love them dearly but make sure at least one of the others can look after him as he goes on his day job.

Taty Pepperlot is an aspiring adventurer, much like how his dad was a few years ago on the island! Nobody really wants to share what was on it though... But the thoughts quickly fade with his outgoing ideas! Which may lead to a broken bone if not watched- who's in charge of watching them again--

That being said, meet Drumpon Pattersong!

Extra information down under the cut:

Name: Drumpon Pattersong

Age: Around their 20s

A calm and eccentric Grumpus. They are always happy to lend a hand on tasks they are needed from and are always seen playing their drums, even at night (they move away to a quieter place at night as to not disturb anyone). They very much enjoy physical contact and as a greeting they always go for a hug, or a high-five for those that don't really enjoy hugs.

Pronouns: They/Them

Favorite Bugsnax: Strabbies, Rootles, Weebles and Sweetieflies

Despite this though, when alone they always seem to be at a loss of.. well, everything. Drifting off to their own mind, they might be playing the drums a bit more sluggishly if something is bothering their mind, however they never explicitly state it, merely smiling to all regardless. Their burdens are their own, no-one else should be troubled with problems they can solve themselves in time.

Drumpon Pattersong is part of a religion similar to Shelda's, worshipping a god known to them as "The Almighty". The legends go that the Almighty with the 4 Drums created their world, and with the music expanded and refined the Grumpuses and animals alike to where they are now. Even to this day, the Almighty can be seen by some in their dreams as Prophets, warning them of certain events to come indirectly. Every 100 years, the Drums are bestowed upon a newborn Grumpus under the sunset, blessed with by the Almighty, they will be destined to carry on with the 4 Drums and change the world, be it for good or otherwise.

However this information isn't told explicitly to the newborn, and they slowly figure the legends as they are taught the 4 Drums, which in it of themselves have a unique quirk to them; only the new born is capable of playing them, any others that attempt, regardless of experience and talent are unable to make them play their sounds beautifully. There has yet to be an event where a Chosen is unable to play the drums.

Drumpon was invited to the expedition by Elizbert thanks to their spiritual connection, much like Shelda; and were asked to aid to see if the Bugsnax were spiritual beings as well in their own way. They had agreed to go on the expedition since they thought this would be their own way to change the world. When arriving to the island, they were excited to meet the bugsnax and see what their existence entailed. But then they ate their first snax, it was a Strabby. The change to their arm aside, they had felt a bit dizzy after the snax was eaten, and thought it best to play their drums in peace to try and push through it. In a weird domino effect of events, they were suddenly playing to a crowd of Strabbies themselves! When playing each drum, the Strabbies acted differently.

When playing Chaka, the Strabbies were overjoyed and sang along, when playing Pata, the Strabbies danced with delight, when playing Don, the Strabbies would jump into the air with energy, and when they played Pon, the Strabbies began running around with no end!

Drumpon was fascinated by this event, and they decided to showcase it to the others, who were rightfully surprised, but were happy with the discovery, Elizbert to be particular was overjoyed with the news, wanting to see more of their talent!

But before they could, they decided to test it out a bit further, going to find a Rootle to eat as well, and safe to say, the same effect as the Strabbies happened to the Rootles! Of course, they didn't act one to one, but they acted in similar fashions so they were overjoyed with the news! Before they could head back to tell the rest, they witnessed the big fight from afar, and all they could do was watch. Frozen with shock as the Grumpuses down below raged on, until eventually they all went their seperate ways. Wambus and Beffica passed by them as they headed towards Garden Grove, they only exchanged a few sentences before they seperated themselves.

All that was left was Filbo down there. They didn't know what else to do, so they thought they should check up on them. So they went down towards Snaxburg and greeted Filbo, choosing a simple hey over their usual hugs. Filbo was still caught off-guard regardless.

Filbo asked what they were doing here and Drumpon said they were seeing what their drums were capable of, explaining that once they returned they had witnessed the whole thing go down. Filbo was upset naturally, despite his best efforts as Mayor, they all merely left without looking back. Drumpon said they wouldn't leave them behind like the rest, they didn't exactly see why the fight had begun, but they still trusted Filbo in the end. After a few more exchanges, Filbo mentioned a Journalist was still missing from the Grumpuses invited, and that maybe the two could keep the town relatively presentable so when they arrived they weren't fully dissapointed. Drumpon agreed and headed off to get some bugsnax for Filbo, towards Flavor Falls where they would usually have their single druming sessions.

Filbo: "They were there for me when the others left Snaxburg. I'm super grateful they are my friend! Plus they help me from not starving since Elizberth is gone, so they're the best!" (Likes)

Beffica: "They're a bit weird, specially their drums! They have names and only THEY can play them decently! Not to mention their little skill; I'm smelling some dirt is being covered up, and I'm gonna sniff it out." (Dislike)

Wambus: "Awfully helpful 'round the farm, that's for sure. Never really ask for anythin' back though. I know Grumps like them, it never ends well. Eventually, they'll burn themselves out with no easy recovery." (Neutral)

Gramble: "The littles one seem to love them and their drums! Maybe a bit too much... They also seem a lot better at having Bugsnax respond to commands, I really want them to teach me how they do it! They at least don't eat Bugsnax too much, if it weren't for that I'd be skeptical of their intentions..." (Neutral)

Wiggle: "Their drums play such a lovely melody~! They reach one's own heart and revitalizes them back to their prime! Our last duet may have proven a bit... Explosive but so was our performance! My banjo and their drums, we played something worthy of a star! They may be my ticket to finding my muse, but everyone doesn't want the town destroyed again, so we must do it away from an audience... Besides the bugsnax, of course~." (Likes)

Triffany: "They're a wee bit energetic, but I gotta admit they play a swell tune! They are always willing to help me with my work and their insight is really nice to hear! Despite all that though, there's times I see them heading out of town at night, there's something off about 'em at that time. Can't help but be worried, ya know?" (Likes)

Chandlo: "They are amazing, dawg! We played hoops a few times and they're definitely a good player! Yeah their shots were a bit misdirected and I almost lost my balls that one time, but after that's over having them come with to visit Shelda is so nice of them! They have a bit of tension though, but I don't know why bro." (Likes)

Snorpy: "There is definitely something weird going on about them, I simply know it! Their drums just so happen to be able to control the Bugsnax they eat to their command? I know something unnatural when I see it, and I know they are NOT to be trusted! But my dear Chandlo seems to be close to them, so I must keep a close watch on them at all times. For his sake." (Dislike)

Cromdo: "They ain't as big a phoney as that Shelda, but there is still something weird about 'em. They have a golden mine right at their fingertips and they don't take advantage of it! I've tried to get their drums to use 'em for myself but the darn things not only don't work when I use em, they also ALWAYS have them with 'em! Yeesh." (Dislike)

Shelda: "One can tell that they, much like myself, are connected with the cosmos for our own respective paths. They are a beacon of light for the future's balance... However, there is a darkness to them, one that they do not seem aware of. One doesn't easily control the snax by merely eating one, and then using the Drums to issue commands. The Drums of the Almighty I have heard about, and I fear for that one's future. It is hanging at the balance much like the future they pave, a wrong move, a wrong tune, and they shall succumb to the darkness below. They do save me a lot of trouble by helping Chandlo, so I shall happily aid them in their struggles, if only they would seek their own help rather than offer theirs for others. There's nothing wrong with getting a break." (Likes)

Floofty: "They are certainly a unique specimen, having characteristics unlike the rest of us here. Despite their affinity to Bugsnax, they limit their potential by refusing to eat further Bugsnax outside of necessity. Much like the Rancher, they have some sort of 'bond' with the Bugsnax, but unlike him, they seem to be more connected than everyone thinks. By merely eating a single Bugsnax, they suddenly can control the same Bugsnax with their drums, regardless of amount, time, AND technique? I'm certain there is more than meets the eye, and given I am the resident gastroentemologist, I must see what else lies in store. (Neutral)

Apparently my family had gotten Covid and I got it too, but now I'm doing much better thankfully, art will have to wait a bit but I will be working on my works on Ao3 for the time being! I know some folks are only discovering me via said works (and I appreciate it y'all <3) so I don't want to disappoint! Except a chapter this week at least!

It's my birthday today, was gonna post a lil comic but gotta prepare to head out to University. (Will probably finish it later today)

That aside tho, hopefully I'll be able to post some things in the coming days! Have a few sketches/unfinished pieces that just need coloring to be ready to post.

It's been a blast to be in this wonderful community, and hopefully it'll be like that in the future! Should really work on more bugsnax doodle posts tho- keep this page alive and all that

I have a drawing I haven't finished yet, granted I just gotta color it in and that's it, it's ready to ship out but I'm being hit with a MASSIVE procrastination wave rn

Also besides that I got a few wips that I can't get quite right either so I'm currently trying to get that rolling

And yes since I have no electricity I could probs just draw right? But this summer heat is killing me I CANNOT stand it-

Gotta thank y'all for everything this year, it's been a blast to see the bugsnax community this year long, even if I had a few bumps down the road myself-

That said though, turns out the phone art quality being crunched is just mobile tumblr's fault and on PC it looks just fine- So in the coming days I'll work on the new grumpus OC. Is it a Journalist? Maybe, we already got 4 out of, how many, 6 possible player grumpus colors? Just missing purple and black so who's to say!
