Prompted by this post, but I have this headcanon that Dark Enchantress Cookie left out a very dangerous tome of dark magic on purpose for a young Red Velvet Cookie to discover as a sort of test to see how far the child was willing to go in serving her. He did genuinely want to get stronger for his adoptive mother, as well as all the cakes, so he "stole" this grimoire from her quarters ( in his perspective of the events, anyways, because obviously Dark Enchantress Cookie left it in his reach on purpose like I said ) and began studying its contents for days on end, eventually attempting a dangerous ritual from it that went more than a little awry... Think Edward and Alphonse in Fullmetal Alchemist when trying to bring their dead mother back to life. Needless to say, he passed the secret test of loyalty, but it left him a little more than scarred and the stilted eye we now see him with, among other things.

            "  we  did  !  i  remember  by  the  end  of  the  night  our  current  manager  approached  me,  and  i  was  so  drunk  by  then  that  i  was  like  -  is  this  for  real  ?  "  sharing  with  him  the  anecdote  from  the  night  that  truly  changed  her  and  her  bandmates'  lives  for  the  better.  she  was  thankful  -  really  appreciative  of  how  life  played  out  for  her.  not  only  with  her  career,  but  also  because  of  the  people  she's  met  along  the  way.  if  one  were  to  ask  though,  yongguk  would  be  on  top  of  that  list.  smiling  away,  her  eyes  focused  on  the  stage,  getting  distracted  momentarily  as  the  band's  set  started.  music  has  always  been  the  one  thing  that  got  her  through  her  toughest  days,  so  her  interest  would  always  be  there  -  whether  it  was  her  singing  or  someone  else.  despite  this,  she  did  feel  the  weight  of  yongguk's  stare,  which  caused  her  to  freeze  up  in  place.  it  didn't  help  too,  the  way  he  whispered  in  her  ear,  knowing  then  that  he  was  even  closer  to  her  now.  there  was  an  inner  dilemma  in  her  mind,  thoughts  racing,  having  an  idea  of  what  was  waiting  for  her  if  she  turned  her  head  to  face  him.  though  something  in  her  prompts  her  to  do  so,  throwing  caution  into  the  wind.  meeting  his  eyes,  with  his  face  oh  so  dangerously  close  to  hers,  "  i-  i  think  they  will  be  too.  "  she  responds,  brown  hues  scanning  his  face  -  from  his  eyes,  down  to  his  lips,  then  back  up  again.  the  crowd  by  then  started  getting  rowdy,  and  despite  the  chaos  happening  around  them,  sunhee  felt  a  sense  of  calmness  staring  at  yongguk  like  this.  unspoken  words  swirling  in  the  air  between  them,  the  next  thing  that  happened  caught  her  off  guard  too.  resting  her  forehead  against  his,  smile  still  in  place,  she  spoke  up  again  in  a  whisper,  "  thank  you  for  coming  with  me  tonight.  "

       "  yeah,  i  definitely  think  we've  even  been  to  this  exact  bar  before,  if  i  remember  correctly.  "   as  they  walked  in,  there  was  always  a  few  sketchy  looking  people  hanging  around  in  these  places,  so  yongguk  ensured  that  his  eye  was  always  on  sunhee;  not  wanting  her  to  feel  uncomfortable  when  they  were  out  here  together.  or  perhaps,  that  was  just  until  she  got  enough  to  drink.  sunhee  was  the  throwing  punches  type  so,  perhaps  she  might  end  up  protecting  him  at  some  point.   "  did  you  also  get  scouted  from  a  bar  like  this  ?  "   yongguk  know  the  time  he  was  hired  as  security  at  one  of  their  gigs  but,  it  was  after  they've  already  hit  the  celebrity  status  around  here;  which  was  probably  also  why  so  many  was  taking  glances  in  their  directions.  sunhee  was,  at  the  end  of  the  end,  a  celebrity.   "  me  too,  it's  almost  surreal  to  be  here  again,  together  ...  it  was  a  good  idea  you  got  there,  sunhee  ~  "   as  the  lights  was  slightly  dimmed  and  brighter  ones  shined  towards  the  stage,  sunhee  didn't  have  to  let  him  know  but  he  smiled  nonetheless  at  her  pointing;  his  gaze  landing  on  her,  staying  longer  than  needed  just  because  he  felt  so  much  endearment  toward  her.  naturally  at  her  leaning,  his  arm  wriggled  free  to  wrap  around  her  shoulders,  hugging  her  closer  to  his  side.  attention  being  half  on  the  band  introducing  themselves,  to  the  petite  woman  sitting  close  to  him.  pondering,  if  he  should  just  try  and  be  selfish  for  once,  to  see  if  it  was  truly  only  him  who  felt  the  spark  between  them,  whenever  they'd  be  this  close  against  one  another.   "  i  have  a  feeling  they'll  be  good.  "   head  turned,  lips  leveling  with  her  ear  and  although  he  spoke  normally,  it  came  out  as  a  whisper  amongst  all  the  other  noises  rummaging  the  room.

10 a.m.

you have a pastel pink heart and represent everything that's soft and gentle. you're a tiny bit of a perfectionist and you work hard towards your goals, but you can be too hard on yourself at times. your heart is easily broken and you're sensitive, but that helps you see magic and beauty in the small things. sometimes you daydream of one day living near to a bakery/florist/café/bookstore in a beautiful old city so you can munch on fresh bread every morning with your pet kitten.

ok i wrote this post on oct 5th 2022 as a silly little post and well. still thinking abt that chuck-as-jack theory tbh!!!!! the jack we saw today just felt.....off. down to his off-white blazer sjdkfd. and there was a clear shift imo between bobby being onboard w/ helping dean on this "last hunt" and going to get "the cavalry" and then just showing up with jack and trying to wrangle dean back to heaven. and i think this theory fits well with @millicentmarva's theory here about dean + bobby being sus about heaven and deciding to break out and defeat chuck forreals but then jack-chuck is on to them so bobby + dean are playing it cool.

the good spn prequel that lives in my mind as of 5 mins ago: dean suspects god-jack isn’t really jack. he’s had his suspicions for a while. things in heaven are just…off. he starts building a case in his head that chuck is still pulling the strings. he decides he needs to bust out of heaven to properly be able to stop him, but how? creates this convoluted plot that he desperately wants to know more about his parents. convinces god-jack-who-might-actually-be-chuck to let him take a little “hiatus” from heaven to explore the past. he totally won’t interfere ! god-jack-who-is-totally-chuck decides sure why not? 1. to keep up appearances that he’s just sweet little jack who would totally let dean visit his parents’ past, 2. because he’s gotten too comfortable in his win and too comfortable believing dean thinks chuck’s really gone and 3. because it’s entertainment and there’s nothing chuck loves more than to watch dean. however, this all backfires for chuck because now dean is a time-traveling alivegirl (who knows what chuck’s up to) and he intends to stay that way. also he’s got an angel to track down
