Fusion Lads as vines (and a bit more context under the cut)

LONG story short, Spiff did some funky ~illegal human experimentation~ and now the lads can fuse like steven universe :) but with computer chips instead of gems. And since Spiff keeps on doing illegal fusion experimentation, the lads formed a rival company and now do superhero-esque shit.

Spiff: villain because we didn't know where else to put him. Owner of SpiffCo.

Kiwo: Ex-head scientist of SpiffCo. who spear fronted the fusion experiments, now works at Fusion Lads & Co. with the lads to keep the chips up to date

Liam: Still Kevin's friend, worked at SpiffCo. under Kiwo, now also works with Lads

Max: Didn't work at SpiffCo., now the Lads' chef

Now for the fusions :) yes they're color coded in the vine comp in case you couldn't already tell lol

(Something to note: how compatible a fusion's components are determines how stable a fusion is, which in turn determines how conscious a fusion is. More on that later)

Keviel (Dan+Kevin): The most stable motherfucker on the block. However, he is SO stable that he doesn't have any of Dan or Kevin's memories, which means he knows next to nothing about how the world works.

Seániel (Dan+Seán): Short anxious man who loves doing paperwork. No we don't know how he got this short he is literally shorter than both of his components NO we don't know how he got six arms when only four went in but we love him anyways <3 terrified of spiders

Danthi (Dan+Daithi): Very no nonsense. Three strikes and you're out (and by "out" I mean "punched into next tuesday")

Braniel (Dan+Brian): yes the drift king still exists in this universe. rip. At first he was so unstable he was a literal monster (see: proto-Braniel), but over time they get over themselves and Bran becomes a very strategic, VERY competitive son of a bitch

Seávin (Kevin+Seán): Very friendly, very nice! Most human looking of the bunch besides Keviel, and he does use that to his advantage. Chaotic good

Kevthi (Kevin+Daithi): Also one of the least stable fusions - at first he's literally just Kevin and Daithi trying to pilot a giant meat suit at the same time. Did not work very well. Instead of becoming a monster to let off his unstable energy like Braniel, though, he just lights his hair on fire. Also he's over 4 and a half meters tall. Did I mention that? I think I forgot to mention that

Brivin (Kevin+Brian): all he knows is start shit, annoy people, eat hot chip, and lie. Bane of Daithi's existence and Brivin accepts this title with pride

Seáthi (Seán+Daithi): If Seávin is chaotic good, this this guy is just chaotic. Somehow a worse influence on Brivin than Brivin is on himself. Do not leave them in the same room together alone they can and will blow everything up

Breán (Seán+Brian): He's so emo. that's all you need to know

Daian (Daithi+Brian): Arguably second most stable fusion (except when he isn't), and is good friends with Keviel because of it. His friends are the only ones he's chill with though - everybody else better watch the fuck out.

Mr. Riz "The Ball" Gukgak Fantasy High: *creates Baron from the Baronese from lies made so his friends who are getting into romantic and sexual relationships dont judge him for not getting into similar relationships and then this lie turns into a physical manifestation and quite literally a reflection of the fears stemming from the uncertainty of not understanding relationships the same way and being unsure if the people around you will accept you for that when they're so into those types of relationships themselves*

Me who's been struggling to figure out and accept if I'm aro or not for the past four years straight for this very reason:

The thing that I love about ajr's Living Room is that the album's whole vibe is basically "life's great and it can really only get better from here! <3 cant wait!!1!" and then all their other albums are basically "IT HAS NOT GOTTEN BETTER IT HAS NOT GOTTEN BETTER PLEASE GOD SEND US BACK"
