Episode six of Chaser Game W 2, and Fuyu and Itsuki are in color-coded bliss after Itsuki came out to her grandmother. Just walking around arm-in-arm in each other's color and being happy. Good for them, I guess.

And the rainbows now appear everywhere! In the past AND the present.

I am very salty that my girl Park Yeo Reum exited the show in the last episode (it could've been poly!), but I am happy for these two color-coded lovebirds getting all they wanted.

But the ex-husband no longer being in gray now that he is divorced is a choice, especially because he is wearing red, which I don't trust in this show.

Ladies! Don't get too comfortable. There are still two episodes left, so good for y'all exchanging colors and being happy, but who knows how long it will last since the ex is wearing red.

The panda on the moving boxes is cute though considering the color-coded girls in love are a Heavenly Human and a Black Brooder.

Yet all I'm seeing is the strawberry cake, which should represent love, but . . .

Marina bit her lip, looking up to meet Minty’s eyes through her dark lashes. “But you do still love me, right?”

“I don’t want to,” Minty repeated stubbornly, curled in Marina’s arms despite her own protests.

“But you do.” Marina’s lips curled into a wry smile. “I love you too. For the record.”

Minty leaned down, connecting their lips in a gentle kiss.

Writing update - 4/2/2025

Happy Liberation Day! :D

Also there was no way I was doing this yesterday none of you would have believed any of it X'D

Moving on! Spent all of March adding at least 100 words a day to the following:

The Glowing Tide

Ghost's Reign

Live and Learn 2

Shadows and Ash

Snips and Scars

One day I wrote up 11 1/2 pages and seven of those were for Snips and Scars

Which, by the way, I'm working to upload to AO3 as well, that'll probably take a few months

Y'all know I announced that Ghost's Reign would come back tomorrow (April 3rd)--well it comes back with a good sixteen chapters ready to go, we're good for weekly updates until the middle of July

And with Shadows and Ash and Snips and Scars both having at least a month's worth of updates, that's this month we're eating good with the live fics

Live and Learn 2 is coming along fine, technically we got three chapters finished and are down to eight episodes left, still plugging away there

The Glowing Tide is what's really coming along nicely--still plugging away at the same pace LaL2 is, but we're about halfway through Part III there. Hopefully, keeping the same pace, we'll start posting that one May 2nd

So! For April I'm still going to work on Live and Learn 2, Shadows and Ash, and The Glowing Tide with the 100 words per day--I'd like to get those three finished before summer at least. I'd also like to get the next entry to the DS/PotC crossover going (need to get my old PS2 working or get an emulator for it OTL) so we might be tacking that one on as well.

In the meantime--I really recommend doing the 100 words a day it makes such a difference and it does add up (like come on, guys, that's a minimum 3K to your fics each month!)

So I'm back at the newspaper research and while 2009 has a lot of things I'm familar with since I was an age to pay attention more to the news, there's also a lot of hidden gems (and I'm starting to notice that a lot of them appear in Todd Babiak's column, lol. thank you todd i liked your book)

here's such a gem on Edmonton's branding that encapsulates why i struggle so much with Edmonton-ness and also has a glimpse of an alternate reality where we had a silly slogan.

anyway you understand why i am so "ugh" about perceptions of edmonton and how i have to bite my tongue every time i say where i'm from and the reaction is either ??? or "OH, THE WEST EDMONTON MALL!" - it turns out it's a shared feeling.

anyway our current branding i think is still Original Since Way Back and while i find it a little silly, especially in light of the fact that "authenticity" has been a trendy buzzword over the last decade or so, I do have a little fondness of it like. yeah. it's edmonton. we know what we're about even if you don't. hahahaha.

Six Some Sentences Sunday

Doing the meme (late) this week with a bit from the latest of a totally normal number of MCU Medieval Adultery AUs. Thor has gone off to war, leaving his pregnant wife behind with Loki who has promised to "take care of her" and obviously he means that and won't just seduce her as soon as Thor is out of the way.

Here's a snippet of him seducing her as soon as Thor is out of the way:

To test this apparent naivety he takes a berry from the bowl himself and carries it all the way to her lips, and without any hesitation she lets him feed it to her, and he is careful to squeeze a drop of juice from it so that he can brush that from her lip with a fingertip just to see how she reacts. Her tongue sweeps over the spot when he draws his hand away, seemingly unaware, her expression too serene to settle the issue of whether his brother’s wife is an idiot or a whore. Which would be worse? he wonders. Either way, it’s a little disappointing; there’s no real challenge there, all it would take is a little persistence and he could have her. Still, this isn’t about how difficult the task is, it’s about tarnishing something that Thor treasures, about being able to take something from him even if it’s only for the duration of a furtive fuck or two. Or more, he amends, as he watches Alfrida suck another stain from her fingers.

i have a favour to ask all of you:

i’m writing a speech about how music (of all different genres) can bring people together. so my favour is that you guys either comment, reblog or even message me your music stories (direct or indirect), and how music has helped bring you closer to people. please make sure you mention specific artists and genres when you tell these stories (if you don’t remember that’s okay too). i’m hoping that i can make a collage of stories from all different people of all different backgrounds. i want pop stories, country stories, hip hop, blues, rap, bebop, classical, jazz, give it all to me.

I’ve had quite a few new followers these past few weeks, so I thought I would make a little about me post, just so you all know what you’re getting into.

First off, hello! My name is Madison (she/her), I’m 20, I’m bisexual, extremely liberal (racists, misogynists, homophobes, transphobes, etc. can fuck off and die), and I live in Saskatchewan, Canada. My favourite thing in the world to do is write, and I love to read as well.

I love every movie and TV show (to varying degrees, but nonetheless) but my favourite movies are Endgame, Infinity War, No Way Home, Eternals, Winter Soldier, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Ragnarok (not necessarily in that order), and my favourite shows are Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Loki, Werewolf by Night, Hawkeye (not necessarily in that order)

I also very casually read Marvel comics (just a few here and there whenever I find some that pique my interest)

DC

Admittedly, not nearly as much as Marvel. There isn’t a lot of emotional attachment. Honestly it’s bordering on contempt at this point, especially after spending money to go see The Flash in theatres

But I love The Batman, Wonder Woman, The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker, the Dark Knight trilogy, Harley Quinn, and Batman (1989). I am cautiously excited for many of their upcoming projects under James Gunn’s leadership

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is my all-time favourite comic book and honestly just one of my favourite books of all time. It’s truly a beautiful work of art.

Lord of the Rings

I’ve seen all three movies and 2/3 Hobbit movies, and I’ve read Fellowship of the Ring (planning on getting to the other two soon). I also watched and absolutely adored The Rings of Power.

My favourite characters are Éowyn and Aragorn, but I love Merry, Pippin, Legolas, and Gimli too. And Galadriel, Elrond, Durin, Elendil, Miriel, and Halbrand in TRoP

I’m admittedly not the most well-versed in LOTR, but I do really enjoy it.

A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones:

Don’t even get me started on those goddamn shows. Seasons 7 and 8 of GoT and HoTD infuriate me on a daily basis but goddamn it I love this world so much. Westeros is so important to me
