Have the Boleyn tabs been changed to loops with green inside for all costumes?

Yes! That started with the Boleyn redesign for Broadway in 2020 (what I call the 3.0 costume). It's been used for practically all new Boleyn costumes ever since:

Above examples are Andrea Macasaet (2020 Broadway), Naomi Alade (2023-25 West End), 배수정 (Pae Su-jeong, 2023 South Korea), and Analise Rios (Breakaway 6.0).

All current costumes have the looped tabs and green lining. However, in some prior costumes there’s been a few exceptions:

(aisforashleee, paiged_perc, James D Morgan)

L’Oréal Roaché and Ashlee Waldbauer (Bliss 3.0) both had the 3.0 looped tabs but it didn’t appear to have the green backing.

Kala Gare (2021-23 Australian Tour) has been in an earlier production and re-used her 2.0-style costume, which had the 2.0 flat tabs rather than the 3.0 looped tabs. They added some studs to her flat tabs to mimic the 3.0 design changes, but didn’t actually replace them with looped.

A few notes:  - this includes the performances in both Seoul (Mar-Jun) and Sejong (Jul) - There are likely some mistakes. I only have limited information from social media.  - If you use this information, please credit and tag. sixcostumerefs here, six.costume.refs on Insta.

The Korean cast is sooo good!! Park Hye-na Seymour is like my new favourite Seymour and the costumes look stunning on all of them.

Also the way they let Lee ARumSoul have her blonde highlights incorporated into her Aragon. We stan.

Do we know what set is being used for the German production - is it the AU/NZ set or the current UK tour one? If it is the latter, is it going to stay in Germany and the updated set used in Seoul maybe brought to the UK?

The German production is the UK Tour set. All of the UK Tour assets traveled with them. The UKT set is also specifically rigged for touring, with easier assembly for load in and strike.

The UK Tour should continue touring with their current set. Again, it’s rigged for touring. Additionally, the dimensions of different sets substantially differ, and the South Korean set was particularly large and may not fit on all UK touring stages (some of which are on the smaller side). And between both the rigging and sizing, changing sets mid-run poses some additional logistical challenges for both the tech team and the actors - changed spacing, changed load-in/strike logistics, the whole shebang. It’s not an impossible switch by any means, but it is such a complex one as to be unlikely.

I’ve been expecting that they’ll keep the Korean set available for any other international productions, or possibly for the Australasian Tour.

I know there are lots of negative comments among Korean theater fans, about how poor the Korean translations are. But I did like some parts. I won't say I'm fully satisfied with the translations but some parts were really touching just like the original ones. Hope they make progress in the future. 😊
