SISKY BIZ, TELLING IT LIKE IT IS...Part II [from MYSPACE]

What's up myspacers, it's me...Adam T Siska. The Truckstops And Statelines Tour has been nothing short of incredible. Thank you all for making this national tour completely SOLD OUT! A lot has happened since my last entry so I will bring you up to speed with some of the high points of the past few weeks. On March 1st we taped a preformance of "Slow Down" for Last Call with Carson Daly. It was quite possibly one of the busiest days of my life, but it came with high rewards. I got a high five from Flava Flav. I grew up as a big Public Enemy fan so I was very excited to meet Mr. Flav for the 2nd time in my life. After the Carson preformance we drove over the House Of Blues Sunset Strip. I was sitting upstairs in the lounge area and none other than Jimmy Page walks into the room. For those of you who are unaware, Jimmy Page was the guitarist Led Zeppelin, and he is nothing less than a god. He stood up on the balcony and watched our entire set. I can't begin to describe the feeling of preforming in front of one of the most brilliant minds in rock history. Unbelievable. -In Las Vegas my girlfriend and I hit the dollar slot machines. At one point we were up 6 dollarinies, but in the end, I lost about 60 bones of cold cash. - Anahiem was a very special day for me. Not only did I get to enjoy the rides, parade and fireworks at DisneyLand, but I got to spend some time with one of my best friends in the world, Andrew McMahon. It was a great feeling watching him preform again. He has been through a lot this year but yet has kept positive through out it all and has inspired me and everyone around him. If you haven't done so already, go buy his new record: Jack's Mannequin's Everything In Transit. It will tell you a lot about yourself. I am currenly lying in my bunk in Boise, Idaho. I have been thinking a lot lately about how amazing you all are and how lucky we are as a band to have you. Thank you to everyone who has come out to our shows and reminded us how incredible our lives are. Much love, Adam P.S. I told a girl named Katie I would dedicate my next entry to her.
