-ore I cannot agree with the proposed hypothesis on swarm behavior amongst mer species. Too little is known of how the frequencies of the sounds tentatively dubbed as “siren song” affect the human nervous system. And nothing at all suggests that mer are similarly affected by this frequency as humans.

Lamentations therefore seem to be an occurrence not only dictated by the sirens themselves, but also by the various congregating mer species that may gather at the site without attacking one another, despite being natural enemies.

So because I'm a FREAK

I was looking through Tumblr for Sailor's Song Siren's Lament stuff

Anyway I came across the answered question of (I'm assuming) Jesse's tail

You said it's like a goldfish tail.

My question is, what kind of goldfish

Because I could have a lot of fun with this

I had to take a second to remember that question cause I have a goldfish brain.

What I was implying at the time is that Jesse's fins are less solid and structured than other mermaids hence a "goldfish tail"

He has no muscle in his fins, unlike say a shark based mer whose tail would ve solid all the way through - just like a shark

Hope that makes sense fjdudusus

Like all my characters though I don't care if someone has fun and deviates from my design, so if you have something in mind, go for it!
