Alpha waves are brainwaves between 8Hz and 12Hz which peak somewhere around 10Hz. Good healthy Alpha production promotes mental resourcefulness and enhances overall sense of relaxation. Alpha waves bridge the conscious to the subconscious. When Alpha wave production is within normal ranges we tend to experience good moods, see the world truthfully, and have a sense of calmness. You can increase Alpha waves by closing your eyes or deep breathing or decrease Alpha waves by thinking or calculating. Alpha waves increase sensation, abstract thinking and self-control. **FOR HEMISPHERIC BRAIN ENTRAINMENT** DO NOT LISTEN IF YOU SUFFER FROM EPILEPSY. - 10hz Binaural Beat / Isochronic Tone - Tone - F# @ 90 &100hz - Headphone Use Only - This was custom created by myself for my personal use during meditation. //----------------------------------->> So,....what is this? Binaural beats were originally discovered in 1839 by Heinrich Wilhelm Dove. He discovered when signals of two different frequencies are presented separately, one to each ear, your brain detects the phase variation between the frequencies and tries to reconcile that difference. In doing so, as the two frequencies mesh in and out of phase, your brain creates its own third signal — called a binaural beat or isochornic tone — which is equal to the difference between those two frequencies.
For example, if a frequency of 100 Hz is presented to your left ear, and a frequency of 105 Hz is presented to your right ear, your brain “hears” a third frequency pulsing at 5 Hz, the exact difference between the two frequencies.Research has proven that introducing a binaural beat will cause the brain to begin resonating in tune with that beat. By creating a binaural beat at 10 Hz — an Alpha frequency — you can trigger your brain to resonate at that same 10 Hz frequency, automatically inducing brain activity in the Alpha range. This technique can be used to guide your mind into any state, rearranging the calcite crystals in your pineal gland, and quite literally “changing your mind” but that’s another post. If you know what these do - row yr boat!

Did this jam waaaaay back in 2014. This was the last thing I recorded before I left Portland for NYC and it’s going to be featured in an upcoming episode of Apple TV’s, The Morning Show.
