The Beatles - Now And Then (Official Music Video)
I don’t have words because of deeply personal reasons, HOWEVER I’m deeply addicted to watching “Now and Then Reaction Videos” right now and that’s sort of healing. You should do that, we should all hug it out and laugh together and maybe get a little dewy eyed.
“The Last Beatles Song” everybody, what a time to be alive.

The Beatles made their last public appearance when they performed on the rooftop of the Apple Building in London, January 30, 1969.

Mr Yolland was directing the Beatles’ Christmas Show which was to be presented at the Finsbury Park Astoria Cinema in London. Because of the screams that usually accompany a Beatle performance he had decided to pre-record their lines, and he was there that night for this purpose. The sketch, which Mr Yolland said would be the comedy highlight of the show, was a satire on an old-fashioned melodrama. The heroine was played by George, who was thrown in front of a train by Sir Jasper (John) only to be saved by Fearless Paul, the signalman. Ringo was to remain mute and occasionally dispense some ‘snow’ to sustain the proper mood. The Beatles were scheduled to go on stage in half an hour and Mr Yolland had only this one opportunity to record them. He had provided them with scripts of the sketch, and he now stood behind them with a stopwatch as they went over their lines. ‘Oh please, who will save me?’ says George. ‘I will,’ says Paul. ‘Who are you?’ says George. ‘I’m Fearless Paul, the signalman,’ says Paul. The recording took twenty minutes. While Yolland was playing it back, the Beatles joked among themselves and mentioned the fact that their new record, issued that week, had sold a million copies. Afterwards, Yolland displayed copies of the sets for the Christmas Show. ‘I’m changing the concept of the pantomime,’ he explained. ‘I consider this a splendid challenge.’ He seemed very nervous.
