Invited you out to see Dave Chapelle + Lauryn Hill. You were more than happy to come. 

Come over to your house after an hour and a half in traffic. Tell you casually I’m walking up. 

We talk in your apartment for a second. Catch up, drink a little and as I’m in your kitchen, you are hugging me from the back, kissing my neck. 

I miss your touch.

we head out of your apartment and go to the show. 

We’re sippin’ on vodka on the way to the show. It’s so fun. It’s a long way up the hill, but we’re making the most of it. As we get closer to the entrance, you can’t keep your hands off me. You tell me that you missed me and that it’s been a while since you’ve seen me. I tell you that I’m on my period and you tell me you don’t care. 

I can’t have everyone looking at us while we look like we’re about to kiss passionately, so I tell you we need to get our seats. Just in time for the show.

The set was great. Probably one of the best experiences I could’ve asked for. 

After Dave Chapelle, we get out of the venue and you tell me, “I dropped a lot of girls for you.” 

I’m unsure why you’d tell me this info. 

perhaps it’s because you want to discuss our next steps but I just don’t want to ruin it. Maybe because you told me that your last ex-girlfriend was your best friend but you couldn't’ fuck her. maybe this is what you want with me. I don't know. 

I just know that when we’re together it is hella fun and you make me really happy. I just want to live in this moment. can we? I don’t want to rush anything.

Later in the night while I was taking hella long in the bathroom, you went to look for me. ( in the ladies room!) Afterward, we snuck into an abandoned building, and to top it off, you made me a tuna melt and serenaded me with your guitar.

For the first time in my life, I’m not afraid. And when I say that, I mean, I’m not afraid of falling deeply - madly - in love with you. 

But I won’t tell you just yet.
