What is one sexual insecurity your muse has?

Berrod suffers a mild case of insecurity regarding size when with a Roegadyn partner. He’s very used to being big all over, and to contend with someone bigger in every respect often brushes at that inadequacy at the back of his mind. 

It’s not something that detracts from a sexual experience with a Roegadyn -- far from it. He enjoys it thoroughly and fiercely once there’s that connection. It’s just something that very gently nags at him at times.

UHHH, he does a very good impression of chocobos, having helped raise his own since he was young in Ishgard. It’s a very silly thing, that he probably only does as a party trick if he’s very drunk.

👒 - Don’t be shy, what’s your personal style?

“Um…” Alfeaux looks down at himself, having forgotten what he was even wearing: a frumpy, blue sweater and simplistic trousers. Other than the pouches clipped onto his belt, he’s devoid of decorative elements (and even those pouches are more for function than anything). 

“…s-simple. I think. I…I r-really have no experience with this s-sort of thing…Although…” He looks up, finger drawn to his lip in thought. “…I-I’d like…to w-wear something p-pretty…m-maybe a dress…” Immediately, he buries his face in his hands, embarrassed.

FEAR. -What are your muses biggest fears?

I touched upon some in a previous post, but going into more detail: Synn fears being abandoned/ hated by those he considers friends this is more so for Adeya. Hell the very idea of starting all over itself scares him be that by his own fault or his inability to protect those he cares about. Recently there’s been an ever growing fear he’s been having which is losing control of his Darkside and having Adeya kill him.

Hello, Tumblr. It’s been a while. I was once known to you as @singforalamhigo, but things have changed -quite- a bit since then, so I wanted to start fresh. That may mean that I’ve bailed on some Discord servers, left some Free Companies, and generally been absent. In some cases I extracted myself because I felt disconnected. If you fit into any of these categories, I apologize. I do still care about you, and if all parties are still interested - I’d like to talk and be friends; perhaps RP. I assure you that nothing was personal. I needed space to think. To be honest, I’m surprised many of you have stuck around, when I’m sure you’ve all got other, *active* blogs to follow!

I’ve deleted my OOC blog, as well as my individual blog for Miden (if any of you remember him), and completely cleared 3+ years worth of history from this blog. If ya’ll like Highlanders, Xaela, aesthetics and bad writing, please feel free to continue following me. Otherwise? No hard feelings!

[starter] - a primer in arcanima

“May I speak with you for a moment, Ahlis?”

She looked up from the text she was reading to see none other than Thubyrgeim, the stand-in guildmaster of the arcanist’s guild. Her arrival was unexpected and Ahlis’s confusion must have been apparent since Thubyrgeim gave a gentle smile of understanding.

“I apologize for interrupting your studies, but something of interest has come to me and I wish to have your insight on the matter.”

Ahlis didn’t need to hear anything else to put her book aside and to follow the other woman on a slow paced stroll through the stacks towards the lower level where their training grounds were located.

“I had a man come to me asking for admittance into the guild. An Ala Mhigan, in fact.”

That last part couldn’t help but make the hairs on the back of her neck bristle in goosebumps. Ahlis wasn’t entirely sure where Thubyrgeim was leading to with this, but she had an idea...

“He goes by Elushai and his skill is not lacking. I see no reason as to why he cannot join our guild.”

“So what does this have to do with me?”

The two followed the curving stairwells down to the lower level but Thubyrgeim paused for a moment to look upon Ahlis in earnest.

“This may after all be an unnecessary request, but I feel it prudent to seek the only Ala Mhigan I know of who currently trains our novices; your presence and assistance may help him feel more at ease here.”

“So...you want me to be a kind of mentor? To him?”

“You’ve said you’ve been wanting more responsibilities within the guild, is that not true? This is a perfect opportunity to expand your teaching repertoire.”

Ahlis did not know what to say; suddenly her previous ambition to strengthen her role within the guild seemed far too immense. For all she knew this man could be older than her by far, an elder in social standards, and the youths did not teach their elders, not to mention Ala Mhigans did have their less-than-desirable  reputation...Ahlis certainly disagreed with such prejudices. She was one of them after all, but a respected exception to the so-called “rule”.

They continued down the stairwell and came to the bottom floor where the training ring awaited them. A number of novices were already well into practicing their summons while a couple others were listening to instruction from one of the trainers.

“Let me introduce you to him,” Thubyrgeim insisted as they entered the large training area.

⚽️- What games did you play with other kids when you were younger? (Eiden

“Games I played when I was young.. that’s actually a good question. I’m not real sure if anyone other than other Wolves would really know most of them.For me one of my favorite things was playing pretend, just using my imagination and what I had. For myself, Askaren, and Iyrn that was a lot more than the other children. They played with sticks most of the time, but we had proper wooden training swords, puzzle boxes, and things like that. At least until we shared them anyway, I.. hah. I should actually just share, I guess!

We would play like we were tough warriors on the sea raiding and fighting. I remember Askaren would always pick me for his ‘crew’, along with any of the stronger boys and girls before we got to our ‘ship’. It was usually just something we could all stand or sit on while someone pushed it to our target. Usually the other group, or whatever someone may have been building.Whenever the enemy crews met, we’d have a fight! Nothing that serious, maybe a few bruises from someone swinging too hard or tripping while we ran around. Whoever won, they’d get to keep the other crew’s toys - you know, sticks, balls, wooden swords, at one point Askaren even captured a tray of cream puffs. Just for the day though, we weren’t THAT serious.

Moms and dads would put us in our place if we took it too far, not that it hurt that much to me. I was on Askaren’s crew a lot. We won most of the fights.

Overview

Alys was raised in the Village of Tym in the Golmore Jungle till about 20 Summers Old.  Thought to be odd due to her quick mind and desire to make things better for her people rather than always following the past she was left for the most part alone.  She learned early on as had many within the village how to draw a bow and became exceptional with its accuracy.  After leaving the Wood at 20 she found herself being raised the rest of the way by a kindly Bangaa miner who taught her the trade.  After coming to Eorzea she took an interest in Arcanima due to her quick mind and then the summoner arts.

Strong thanks to years swinging a pickax in the mine with endurance to match. She still relies more on speed, agility and accuracy with ranged weapons more than anything.  She will resort to magic if the situation seems more favorable for it rather than a bow or firearm.  

Due to her past it is sometimes difficult for her to work with others particularly if they tend to want to just do as their elders did.  Her Bangaa ‘father’ Lestrik did impart on her the wisdom of working together and she ever tries to do so.  

Not above trying to get the field to her advantage she took to the tactics training of Arcanima quite well. Alys is not much of a healer but she can patch hurts well enough for a proper one to get to the person.

Her main focus in combat is bring it down so it cannot hurt others.  She can be reckless and forget her own safety from time to time  much to the vexation of those who want to patch her up.

–Any lasting combat injuries?–

Nothing that truly interferes with her ability to move mostly scarring from not getting out of the way in time and taking a strike or burn.  She typically tries to keep her distance from her foes be it with bow/gun or magic.

FEAR. -What are your muses biggest fears?

Okay you didn’t say who to have this for so you get everyone. XD 

T’ikala Bhudi - Is scared of being ignored. Well more so of being so unimportant and uncared for that people just don’t notice that she’s there. 

Kuroji Takatori - He’s lost most of the things important to him already so there isn’t much he fears. Though, he’s never been fond of caves. 

Gale Bishop - Not being strong enough. He wants to help and protect everyone that he can. It’s his biggest fear that he won’t have the strength to.

Ylaine Charlemond - Her past. She’s running as hard and as fast from it as she can. The only parts of her past that she cared about are dead, but she doesn’t want the rest of it to drag her back to that frozen nightmare. 

Jovvy Clarion - Being discovered. Nobody knows her, and she’s good with that. She doesn’t want to form connections with people. Connections are made just to be broken. 

Gabriel Maerten - Giving in. He’s scared of giving into his feelings, his passions cause often they go against all the laws and rules that he holds dear. The way he would put it, he doesn’t want to become his father.
