After receiving the order, we almost made the airline cry with our persistence! Such dedication moved the client: only a freight forwarder China like this would do.
A factory in Guangzhou had a VIP client in Johannesburg, South Africa, who deals in high-end products such as electronics and high-end clothing. The South African client had very high requirements for the timeliness of the services provided by the freight forwarder China. This time, there was a shipment bound for Johannesburg, and the client demanded strict adherence to the schedule. The Guangzhou factory insisted that we must not delay.
As an experienced freight forwarder China, I know that some airlines' flights are relatively unstable and prone to delays. This could be due to the age of the aircraft, company management, dispatch efficiency, etc. The Guangzhou client emphasized, "Our budget is ample, but we demand timeliness. I know you are a professional freight forwarder China, and you must not let us down!" Indeed, they trusted us because we are a responsible freight forwarder China. I couldn't just pay lip service to ensuring timeliness; I had to put it into practice by using airlines with stable services to ensure punctuality.
In fact, Sunny Worldwide Freight Forwarder China's service is not based on price but on value for money, which is why many of our clients are repeat customers. We track goods throughout the journey, remain available during holidays, and respond to issues within 24 hours. Many clients can't do without us after one cooperation. They are very satisfied with our timeliness and service. We focus on every aspect of the logistics process, achieving an 83% national inquiry transaction rate, which is unmatched in Shenzhen.
Our team held a meeting to discuss and gather information. I first considered Ethiopian Airlines, the largest and most extensive airline in Africa, with moderate prices. However, it was summer, and high temperatures would trigger load limits, combined with the company's specific situation, significantly increasing the chances of delays. For a 25-year-old freight forwarder China company, this must be known. Both South African and Ethiopian airlines are relatively unstable, contrary to the client's requirements. If the client focused on freight costs, this would be a good choice. But the client prioritized timeliness, so Ethiopian Airlines, despite being a major airline, was not an optimal choice.
After rejecting this option, we reconsidered another major airline, Turkish Airlines. TK reaches 96 countries and about 140 cities, offering extensive services. We contacted the TK representative to discuss the issue, explaining we were a freight forwarder China with a shipment to South Africa. Although there are many flights from China to Istanbul, after discussions, we learned there is only one cargo flight from Istanbul to Johannesburg every Friday. If there were unexpected delays in Istanbul, we would have to wait until the next Friday for the next possible flight, which the African client couldn't accept. With the risk of transit issues abroad, we, as a freight forwarder China, would be helpless, so we had to abandon this option.
Such a good client perfectly matches Sunny Worldwide Freight Forwarder China, so we had to find a better solution. I mobilized a business manager and a salesperson, both very experienced and resourceful in this field. They used their resources to find a better solution. We considered Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, and about seven or eight other airlines that we frequently cooperate with at Sunny Worldwide Freight Forwarder China. However, they all had one problem: they all involved transfers, which posed a risk of mid-route delays.
Finally, we received a recommendation email from Capital Airlines, suggesting China Airlines. CA has direct flights from Shenzhen to South Africa, with three cargo flights per week on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. After finalizing this preliminary plan, we immediately recommended it to the client, with the TK plan as a backup. The client was hesitant. Although CA had three flights a week, TK had a great reputation for service, despite the risk of having only one flight a week.
After multiple communications and thorough discussions with the client, we still recommended CA's plan. After all, with three direct flights a week, even if there were delays, we, as a freight forwarder China, would have more control over the situation if the goods were delayed domestically. The client finally decided to go with CA's plan.
Booking the space was just the beginning. I almost daily urged the airline for details: How is the cargo allocation today? Is there any overweight issue? Any weather problems or maintenance issues? We even annoyed CA so much that they said, "Why do you keep asking every day!" But it was this relentless spirit that ensured the first batch of goods was shipped smoothly. The Guangzhou factory was aware of our entire process and was moved by our wholehearted service, saying, "As long as we hand it over to responsible freight forwarder China like you, I know there will be no problem with the shipment to South Africa!" Since then, all shipments from the Guangzhou factory to Johannesburg have been entrusted to Sunny Worldwide Freight Forwarder China.
As a freight forwarder China company with 25 years of experience, we care more about our clients' needs than they do. Barring natural disasters, our punctuality rate is 99%. If you have international shipping needs, please contact us at [email protected]. We are confident that you will be satisfied.

A Comprehensive Guide to Logistics, Air Cargo, and Ocean Cargo Services in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, known as the City of Pearls, is one of the major economic centers in India. Over the past two decades, it has developed into a leading hub for the technology, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries. As companies based in Hyderabad expand their operations globally, efficient ocean cargo services in Hyderabad and logistics connectivity becomes critical to linking them to international supply chains and markets.
Tumblr media
Ocean Cargo Connectivity
Ocean freight is commonly used for transporting large volumes of cargo overseas out of India. Here are some of the major ocean cargo gateways used by businesses for ocean cargo services in Hyderabad:
Nhava Sheva (JNPT Port):
Located over 700 km on India's west coast near Mumbai, JNPT or Nhava Sheva port handles over half of all India's container cargo. It offers regular container shipping services to all major regions, such as East Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, and North America. Several international shipping lines, such as Maersk, MSC, and CMA CGM, provide less-than-container load (LCL) and full container load (FCL) services from inland container depots in Hyderabad directly to Nhava Sheva port.
Chennai Port:
Situated about 600 km southeast of Hyderabad, Chennai Port has emerged as one of the largest cargo hubs in India handling various types of bulk, liquid as well as container cargo. Direct container liner services connect Chennai with regions in the Mediterranean, Southeast Asia and East Asia. Leading container shipping companies like OOCL, Evergreen Marine and Hapag Lloyd operate services from Chennai Port to destinations like Colombo, Singapore, Dubai, China and Europe. Customs bonded trucks facilitate the movement of export-import cargo between Hyderabad and Chennai port.
Krishnapatnam Port:
This rapidly growing private port in Andhra Pradesh, located around 200 km from Hyderabad, offers regular container feeder services to the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the U.S. Several large logistics companies operate frequent road transportation services between Hyderabad and Krishnapatnam port to coordinate the first-mile and last-mile connect for shippers.
Vizag Port:
Located over 500 km from Hyderabad, Vizag Port primarily handles bulk cargo such as coal, fertilizers, steel, and oil. However, feeder services are also available from Vizag to connect with leading international container transhipment hubs like Colombo, Singapore and Port Klang. Customs clearing agents at Vizag port facilitate trade documentation processes for Hyderabad-based traders.
Domestic Logistics Support
To facilitate the smooth movement of export-import cargo between production and warehousing facilities use these gateway seaports for logistics services in Hyderabad:
Container Freight Stations (CFS):
These offer services like stuffing and de-stuffing containers, temporary storage, palletization, and customs examination and clearance of less-than-container-load (LCL) cargo meant for exports by sea. Over 15 CFS facilities of leading logistics companies are spread across Hyderabad.
ICDs and PFTs:
Inland Container Depots (ICD) and Private Freight Terminals (PFT) operated by Concor, Gateway Rail, and others act as dry ports to consolidate LCL cargo, temporarily store containers and enable customs clearance before final dispatch to the seaports. Key ICDs near Hyderabad are located in Sanathnagar and Pantancheru.
Transport Companies:
Various road transport companies provide door-to-door services to carry export-import cargo in dry or refrigerated (reefer) containers as full truckload (FTL) or partial truck load (PTL) between Hyderabad and coastal port terminals like Chennai and Krishnapatnam.
Customs Clearing Agents:
Local customs clearing and forwarding agents assist traders with customs documentation, examination, appraisement and clearance processes at the seaports and airports to expedite cargo movement.
Air Cargo Infrastructure at Hyderabad
While ocean freight is economical for voluminous cargo, air cargo logistics is faster for time-sensitive deliveries of perishable commodities or high-value items. Here are some of the facilities available:
Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA):
This is the sole international airport serving Hyderabad with connections across India and major global transit hubs in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Europe. More than 50 tonnes of international air freight passes through it daily. Leading international air cargo airlines operating belly cargo and freighter services from RGIA include Lufthansa Cargo, Emirates SkyCargo and Blue Dart Aviation.
GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo (GHAC):
This recently launched dedicated air cargo terminal has an annual capacity to handle over 500,000 tonnes of air freight. The integrated terminals include facilities for truck docking, palletization, cold storage, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), customs clearance, and handling dangerous goods, VAL cargo, and live animals. The GHAC promotes Hyderabad as a major cargo hub and can process special cargo like pharmaceuticals, perishables, and e-commerce shipments.
Hyderabad Airport Free Trade Warehousing Zone (AFTZ):
Located near the RGIA, this 90,000 sq. ft. facility promotes air cargo exports by enabling duty-free storage of goods meant for exports worldwide. Trucks operate between the AFTZ and GHAC terminal in seamless connectivity.
In summary, Hyderabad is well connected by ocean and air cargo options to send cargo to destinations across the six continents. Businesses can engage various domestic logistics partners and international air cargo agents in Hyderabad to access leading Indian ports like Nhava Sheva, coordinate customs clearances, and handle first- and last-mile truck transportation. The integrated air cargo infrastructure at the RGIA also allows rapid freight movement on global air networks. Leveraging these services facilitates Hyderabad-based companies' efficient expansion of their worldwide supply chain footprint.

USEFUL TIPS TO DEAL WITH SHIPPING DELAYS
Accurate, damage-free, and on-time deliveries are crucial for business success. An efficient delivery service is vital to the success of your business. In this age of ecommerce, customers have higher expectations when it comes to the delivery of their goods. If you are unable to meet your delivery schedule, it can leave your customers dissatisfied with the quality of your service. Despite seeming relatively harmless, shipping delays can hinder supply chain efficiency, decrease customer loyalty and hamper sales significantly and can wreak havoc on your brand reputation. Sometimes  delays by shipping freight forwarding companies are inevitable, like in COVID-19 when entire manufacturing and distribution units came to a standstill. In this article, we’ll discuss what causes shipping delays, the negative impact of delayed deliveries on your business, how to deal with late deliveries, and how avoiding delayed deliveries can boost your customer lifetime value.
Tumblr media
What causes Shipping delays?
To best avoid any shipping delays, it’s best for businesses to understand what causes them. It will also help improve customer satisfaction and the entire customer experience. Part of this includes mastering and truly understanding last mile delivery and how it can affect customer retention
Current Events
Global current events can have a big effect on shipping if they prevent supply chains from operating normally. We’ve seen this in the current global pandemic or it may also occur during war situations or any government regulations or other  emergencies. Coronavirus shipping delays have been felt across the world, from China and Singapore to Italy, India, the UK, and the US. FedEx shipping delays (and those of other couriers) have increased due to lockdowns, curfews, and other measures put in place by governments to help combat the disease.
2. International vs. Domestic Shipping
Congestion in airports and bad weather are some of the leading causes of international shipping delays. Customs issues can also hold up packages, which is why it’s important to ensure your customs paperwork for international shipments is properly and correctly filled in.
However, domestic shipping is more affected by traffic, construction, major roadblocks and detours, and accidents. All shipments can also be delayed by failed delivery attempts, high volumes (especially around holiday and peak periods), and vehicle trouble.
3.Logistical Oversights And Labour Shortages
A lack of proper logistical infrastructure can cause order sorting and processing delays. Smaller businesses, which handle everything in-house, can have orders pile up as they make time to ship them. Inefficient warehouse and inventory management are major logistical challenges to be overcome.
Labor shortages or insufficient delivery vehicles at hubs or distribution centers can cause significant order delays.
Using old software during shipping isn’t efficient. It may cause problems due to the inability to integrate new features and technologies that may help avoid or mitigate shipping delays.
By investing in updated shipping technology, such as using cloud-based software, businesses can provide a more streamlined approach to the shipping process. This includes 3PL which allows transportation companies to stay connected using real-time data.
4.  Peak Season
During peak season, your freight may be delayed due to high shipment volumes. Festivals, Holidays, weekends are something many of us usually look forward to . These are  prime time for eCommerce, and the industry often experiences huge spikes in orders  during this period. To avoid shipment delays during these times  due to the large volume of orders, businesses must plan ahead to establish efficient logistics systems.
5. Incorrect Documentation
Not having the right documents for your shipments can cause shipping delays. This is possible during different parts of the shipping process including when the package leaves the port of origin, clears customs, or arrives at the final destination. Common documentation errors include:Missing paperwork, Inaccurate content description and Improper labelling.
6. Inaccurate shipping information
When customers give a misspelled or incorrect address, or when the retailer doesn’t document the customer’s order properly, the courier company may not have enough information to correctly deliver the package. This can cause shipping delays, increased last mile delivery costs, or worse, the package never arrives.
7. Customs
When it comes to international shipments, customs are a huge factor in shipping delays. It’s crucial to have all required documents handy to avoid issues and delays as much as possible.
Delays are inevitable without the necessary documentation and this can jumpstart additional complications with cargo inspections. If items are held up by customs, businesses should have a backup plan ready. This includes having relationships with courier services that keep up with accurate documentation.
The Impact of Shipping Delays
Shipping is a crucial part of any trade. That’s why every top freight forwarding companies in India keep in consideration the fact that carts abandoned due to shipping delays are lost sales and revenue for retailers. If that weren't bad enough, shipping delays can also prompt dissatisfied customers to leave bad reviews that dissuade other potential buyers from going through with their purchases, further reducing sales and revenue. Here are 4 ways that late freight shipments can negatively impact your business.
Tumblr media
Chargeback penalties
If you miss a delivery appointment or deadline, a retailer or customer may assess a chargeback, a penalty for not being in compliance with their requirements. In other words, make a late delivery, make less money.
Higher costs
Late or missed freight deliveries mean having to make another delivery, which incurs additional costs for fuel, driver time, and additional charges from your freight carrier.
Customer loss
If you incur enough late deliveries, your vendor scorecard grades could place you in serious jeopardy of losing the business.
Increased Customer Acquisition Cost
Losing a customer is bad, but replacing a lost customer is extremely expensive. As everyone knows, it’s much less costly to keep an existing customer than find a new one.
Impacts to your planning and production
Late inbound freight shipments can delay production, which impacts inventory levels, which can impact sales; all of which negatively impacts cash flow.
6 TIPS FOR DEALING WITH SHIPPING DELAYS
Online retailers work very hard to ensure customers have a seamless shopping and shipping experience. While eliminating shipping delays entirely may not yet be possible, there are ways to minimize and manage them. Here’s what you CAN do to prevent and manage shipping delays:
Choose reliable providers
Work with vetted providers you can trust
Pay close attention to your providers’ experience and performance reviews
Plan any extra services you need for delivery of your goods to avoid surprises down the line
Ensure alignment between your providers
Give your supplier accurate contact information for your freight forwarder – and vice versa – to ensure smooth communication
Make sure all your providers have the correct reference number for your goods
Clearly differentiate shipments from the same supplier to ensure timely delivery of each shipment
Make sure all paperwork is in order
Spend extra time reviewing all the documents related to your shipment
Make sure your goods are classified with the correct HS code
Work with your providers to file paperwork on time
Work with your forwarder to arrange a smooth warehouse drop off
Get the estimated time of arrival at the port from your freight forwarder
Ensure in advance that any special equipment required for handling is available
Arrange for quick freight pickup right after unloading
Book warehouse space ahead of time
Plan ahead for peak season
Avoid shipping goods during peak season as much as possible
Keep in mind any promotional campaigns or expected spikes in demand
Prioritize shipments of fast-selling goods
Plan ahead so you’re not caught short on inventory
Keep buffer inventory for markets likely to be impacted by delays
Store inventory across several warehouses to optimize transit time and costs
Account for avoidable causes of shipping delays – but remember that some delays are not avoidable
Tumblr media
Ultimately, managing delays in the delivery process comes down to good communication and demonstrating to your customer that you want to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. If you can do this effectively, your brand will gain a competitive advantage and a base of long-term, loyal customers who trust that you can deliver. AFM Logistics  is the  best shipping company in India  that can help you streamline your delivery operations and ensure that you stand out from other delivery businesses.

Three key stand outs from the 2024 F1 calendar
The 2024 Formula 1 World Championship calendar has broken cover, with a run of 24 races that begins in Bahrain and finishes in Abu Dhabi. So what are the main differences for this upcoming campaign? The season begins with two Saturday races For the first time since 1985, a full World Championship Grand Prix will take place on a day other than Sunday this year when the lights go out for the much-anticipated inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix at 10pm local time on Saturday 18 November 2023. READ MORE: Formula 1 announces calendar for 2024 In 2024, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia will join Las Vegas in making it three Saturday races on the calendar, the former two accommodating Ramadan, a period of fasting, prayer and reflection observed by Muslims around the world, which begins on Sunday March 10 – one day after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. It means everything will shift forward a day for the opening two events, with the media day taking place on Wednesday, the opening two free practice sessions on Thursday, FP3 and qualifying on Friday and the main event – the Grand Prix – on Saturday. The Bahrain Grand Prix season opener will take place on a Saturday Races move position to support regionalisation Formula 1 calendars are complicated things, with some races needing to be at certain times of year otherwise it’ll be too hot or too cold to go racing. It makes slotting each race into the calendar an interesting challenge.
