Anjelle makes kissy noises.

Kaynik says, "Good point." Kaynik kisses you happily.

Anjelle asks to Hrung, "Anything I can do for you before I disappear?"

Athenais smiles happily, squeezing Kaynik around the middle.

You ask, "May I have a halo, please?"

Celyn looks at you. Celyn says, "You are halo'd."

You peer about.

Kaynik eyes you.

You say, "I'm also blind, apparently."

Sindra says, "She couldn't be more holy."

Kaynik says, "Fucking same."

Sindra covers her mouth with one hand to hide a smile.

You hold Kaynik. You say to Kaynik, "I love you anyway."

Celyn snickers.

Athenais shuffles around from foot to foot.

Secretly: Sindra melts. To Sindra, you send secretly: Athenais sniffs.

Sindra says to Kaynik, "It's good for you to engage in some nonsense now and again."

You say to Sindra, "He's literally in a Father Wintermas outfit, though."

You tell Sindra: And he wandered around town with his ass out all day.

Kaynik says, "It's not. Never has been. Nonsense is for the nonsensical and we're adults now."

Celyn holds Sindra.

Sindra says to Athenais, "Somehow he makes it look serious, like it's just his daily attire."

Celyn looks at Kaynik.

Kaynik nods.

Secretly: Sindra rolls on the floor laughing

You chuckle.

Celyn says, "Nice beard."

Kaynik tugs his beard respectfully.

Sindra says to Kaynik, "I hear you wore another interesting outfit recently." Sindra smiles sweetly.

You bite your lip.

Celyn peers about.

Secretly: Sindra sells you out, laughing all the while. You tell Sindra: Don't forget the time he was Father Winter Massacre. Sindra tells you: Imagine if he was a nude Father Winter Massacre. Like with the hair and the eyes and the beard, but otherwise nude. You tell Sindra: I'd still ride that. Secretly: Sindra rolls on the floor laughing You tell Sindra: They don't call me Mrs Ho for nothing. Sindra tells you: I was going to say, you'd either find it hilarious or erotic, Mrs. Ho.

Celyn says, "Witch doctor first then."

Kaynik says, "It's the worst weapon ever."

Sindra says to Kaynik, "It LOOKS appropriate, so she can just hold it."

You say, "I am a walking rod of fire."

Kaynik says, "I'd rather use a toy dagger."

Celyn bites his lip.

Sindra says to Kaynik, "Not everything is about efficiency, Kaynik."

Kaynik says, "She has whips! It's all she ever wants." Kaynik grins.

Sindra huffs delicately at Kaynik.

Celyn says, "M-Maybe it's gotten better."

Sindra glares at Kaynik. Sindra gives Kaynik a dainty, dirty look.

You laugh.

Kaynik exclaims, "Glare all you want. She gets only the best and that's far from it!" Kaynik holds you.

Sindra puts a Black leather in Backpack. Sindra gets a Silver robe from the Southern Grasslands - Hut. Sindra exclaims, "Immigrants!"

Athenais leans into Kaynik's embrace, casting a sheepish look Sindra-wards.

Kaynik exclaims, "Shields and shit!" Kaynik eyes you. Kaynik says to Sindra, "It's a good thing she's cute."

You agree.

Sindra says to Kaynik, "She was born that way." Sindra stares in admiration.

Kaynik laughs out loud.

You say to Sindra, "It's a good thing I trust him to keep me alive."

Kaynik exclaims, "To death!"

Sindra says, "Poor big mole." Sindra grins at you gently.

You grin.

Finally made a ref for my awful lady-drake, Sindra.

She's the main antagonist in my OC world, the leader of an extensive crime network. Her specialty is normally assassination and extortion, but recently she's set her heart on a much more heinous crime. One day I'll get to writing the story that she and most of my OCs are a part of.

two word prompts

It was difficult, sometimes, to remember that Sindra was still a child. He certainly didn’t like being treated as one. Enough people on the island, lulled in my the slight, quiet form, had tried to coddle him back in the early days. How those people had managed to get away with all their fingers still attached was still a stroke of luck. Still, it meant that most veered away now.

All except for Crix, at least. The only person there too worn down to even have the energy to try anymore. Not a point in trying to indulge someone when all he ever earned for it was a punishment from some higher power.

Others still found a way to whisper about him being cruel, but it was that which Sindra excelled under. And wasn’t that the whole point?

Or, at least, it was until Sindra went down during training; too many half a beats passing without him getting up.

“Sindra?” He didn’t realize the panic that had been building until he knelt down to got his hand on the boy’s back, able to feel the rapid rise and fall then. “We’re done for the day.”

“No.” If it were anyone other than Sindra, he would have expected that muffled protest to be followed by kicking feet. “I can still keep going. I’m not weak.”

Crix blinked a little at that then eased out a sigh, surprised to find himself smiling. “Course you’re not,” he said. “You wouldn’t be mine if not. Now what do you say we raid the snack supply while everyone’s busy?”

Sindra whined about being hoisted onto his back, heels digging hard little points into his sides. But the tight arms wound around his neck and the quiet hiccups suggested that he couldn’t have done that much wrong.

Kaynik says, "Good point, we should go kill the lion king." Kaynik nods.

Drayax says, "Yes."

You ask, "Isn't he surrounded by lionesses?"

Sindra nods at you seriously.

You ask, "And aren't they the un-fun cats?"

Sindra says, "The ladies are the scary ones."

You bite your lip.

Celyn hmms.

Kaynik says to Athenais, "So here's how it works."

You whisper to Sindra, "We are scary, especially when we whisper to one another."

Celyn says, "Big lion king is pretty scary."

Athenais listens to Kaynik intently.

Sindra whispers to you, "You and I are a lioness pack." Sindra says, "He's very mocha."

You agree.

Kaynik says, "You climb this big rock, and fight your way through lionesses all the way up. Then you jump across a gap, and fight the king, who summons more lionesses and will throw you off the rock at times. So, you need to climb back up, fighting any lionesses that have returned, only to enter and be punished and continue the fight."

You bite your lip.

Sindra says, "It sounds like a great Tuesday night."

Celyn says, "That's why you pine sap yourself in place."

You ask to Kaynik, "Is there any special reason one might want to slay this lion king, or is it just for bragging rights?"

Sindra admires Celyn.

Celyn exclaims, "Death or glory!"

Sindra says to Celyn, "I really enjoy the way your brain works."

Kaynik says, "Last time I fought him, I was soloing the guy and his queens for way too long before I realized I was alone and should probably leave."

You laugh. You say to Kaynik, "You... have a way of doing that." Athenais nods understandingly.

Kaynik says to Athenais, "He drops his claws, which people wear on their hands."

Celyn says, "Can skin em too."

You hmm.

Kaynik says, "And you can lash out with them."

You say, "I guess he'd make a nice rug, but.."

Sindra wiggles her fingers at Athenais. "I'd look good in lion claws."

You agree with Sindra. You say to Sindra, "You'd be the best cat lady."

Sindra tells you exclaiming: MEOWOWOWOWOW. GO MEOW! GO MEOW!

Hi! I’m here again to say Happy Xmas and how a huge fangirl I’m of your art! As a humble gift I’d like to give you a picture of Aquila and Sindra as  12 years old (omg it’s terrible, there is no proportion, or anything correctly done - I have no idea from where I took so much courage to post it in a global site) and a tribute fanfic about it in a AU of this magical world of yours.

Thank you so much!! I wasn’t expecting this at all, this is such a welcome surprise.

This is adorable! Aquila & Sindra are happy about this and they were really needing a picture together. I’m so glad you felt inspired by my characters… now I feel the need to write more about their childhood and how they first met, etc… and yes, you just guessed that they had a brief but important encounter back then, before they get separated by destiny and their story is bound to get entwined again…

I really love the way they have each their own style and above them there’s the phoenix and dragon symbols! Also, I’m glad you posted the drawing, I’m very self conscious about mine too but I’m glad at some point I started posting them on DA and that made me improve so much though the years! I can see you already have a good level of imagination and ideas for clothing, armor, etc.. the rest is just a matter of practice! Never beat yourself down for drawing anatomy and proportions, they aren't easy, plus you’re just going to improve if you keep trying.

The fact that you posted this and my characters inspired you enough for drawing makes me immensely proud!

About Midori, please give me a few moments to think about ... what came to my mind is that she would be extremely glad and grateful and above all, relieved. She loves her Izuna and deep down she has a presentment that she would lose him eventually. Midori dreamed that Madara would be all alone in the world, so she feared immensely…

If a girl saved her son she would be very interested in meeting her and thanking her the way she knows best: first she would hug her and then she’d probably invite her to some good talk and food (she’s great at cooking!), then I think if she noticed interest from the girl, I think she could definitely invite her to train a bit.

Honestly, Midori really wishes she had a female child, she had a daughter called Hikari which died when Madara and Izuna were too young. It was extremely traumatic to her and she feels really lonely sometimes with her duties, despite having two children alive and her husband she really misses Hikari and I think she would even be inclined to adopt a girl if she were in need.

I think she would love also to have a companion and someone she could take to her personal council, etc.. and also teach her not only how to fight and dance, but to write and keep records, to draw with ink and arts in general which are something she is passionate about. To be honest all I drew on the Midori ask blog is supposed to be Midori’s own art so you can see her style ^^

BTW. I’m so glad to see this and read your comment. I never talked to you before so nice to meet you, and it put a huge smile on my face to read you started liking birds more because of my stuff! This makes it all worthy, and aren’t birds magnificent creatures? xD

Crix had always known that, one way or another, things would have to come to an end. And, when it did, he only would have accepted one of three people to come for him.

So, even with the energy that rolled off of Sindra hard enough to suppress his breathing, he felt relief more than anything else.

“You lied,” Sindra spat, the sound made even worse without his mask. “You promised and you…” He shook his head. “What makes her so important?”

“You know why.” Crix didn’t need to close his eyes to remember days spent under a desert sun; how her eyes would light up at any scrap of gift he managed to bring her. “She’s always been the exception.”

That stung, he knew, so the kiss made little sense. At least until he heard the hiss of the saber.

“I don’t forgive you.”

Crix huffed out a laugh at that. “Be honest with me, Sin—you never did.”

A quick death was more than he deserved, but at least he could be assured that Rey would be safe. Heroes always were, after all. It was the villains that were fucked.
