mostly stopped responding to this post because it's so old like ive been living here almost 3 years but i love it when architects are wrong on this post. i do not live in a circle sorry that person's aunt

also @wanderer-chronicles it wasn't anything before. it was built to be flats. it's always been like this.

#since somewhere between 1900-1920 idk the exact year #the building next door was built in 1895 and it wasn't here then #but it is listed on the census done in the 20s #id probably have to go to the city hall and look at physical paper records to find out because that has not been digitised yet #but i'm simply not that invested in the exact year it wouldn't make much difference #it's a bit over 100 years young #the older building next door WAS originally something else. a factory. it's been converted into flats #this was always a tenement flat building. possibly made to house workers for said factory #honestly this is just what glasgow tenements are like but this is one of the wonkier ones ive seen which is why it made me laugh so much #nobody building any of these had access to a set square apparently
