Hi there Cal. Love your outfit by the way! I wonder if you have been to a bunch of tropical islands in a region far to the east of Greece. I think the locals call it Nusantara or something. Have you met the people there? What do you think of them?
Well! Back in my day, they called these islands "Atlantis", though scholars of your time refer to it as "Sundaland."
I have a hymn written just about this, actually!
*pulls out baglama*
youtube
I haven't been there in a while though! Perhaps a visit is in order~

Aight, so lore dump time. This is going to be a big one. But essentially for those not in the know, this map is fantasy map, created by Ohawhewhe and crew, and has been reposted by flat earthers who legitimately believe in it. It's also been my past hyperfixation for 9 months, so I'm taking this chance to lore dump about it.
So first things first, the map, isn't actually depicting a flat setting, Gaia(the name of the world) is actually several globes stacked on top of each other, sort of like a snowman, with Earth being at the top, Atlas being in the middle, and Akupara being on the bottom, like this:
As you descend down the globes, more and more magical phenomena are found, with Earth having the least magic, only being observable through use of hallucinogens or those particularly attuned to the magical world. Atlas has a medium amount of magic, most potent in places with divine or mystical entities already inhabiting them, and Akupara has the most amount of magic, where you'll find stuff like demons and spirits openly manifesting for all to see.
This entire world rests on the wastes, that being the Walls of Asgard, the Scorched Wastes, the Abyssal Ocean, the Frozen Wastes. They are a semi infinite plane, and the furthest expanse humanity, in all it's incarnations, has reached. The Wastes are not like the rest of the world, they are harsher than any natural environment, lacking in the stable reality that our world is known for, trying to traverse it is an effort in futility, for unless you are the strongest and most skilled explorer, you will not go very far until it claims you.
Now, onto the actual geography.
The Montane ring is a naturally forming ring of Mountainous terrain that started forming during the Permian, and completely divided Atlas and Akupara in the early Jurassic. It's basically completely prevented biotic interchange from means that don't involve falling into a wormhole or flying landmasses(more on flying landmasses later).
Now, on the topic of Egyptian and Norse gods, while I can't speak on any Egyptian gods existing, I can say that Norse gods kind of exist. If any of you have heard of Hyperborea, that plays a role into the people living on Odin(which, I should mention, had it's name changed to Asgard, this whole map is actually severely outdated, and current placements of continents and even the wastes don't necessarily reflect current canon)
Essentially, every 1.5 billion years, another globe forms on Gaia, and roughly 2 million years ago, the realm of Hyperborea formed. Rich in pure Azoth, a substance known for it's potent magical proprieties(kinda, it's more complicated than that but I don't have time) it attracted humans to it, an off shoot of Homo erectus unrelated to Homo sapiens, who formed a civilization on it roughly 500 thousand years ago.
Eventually, these Hyperboreans (along with Atlanteans, Lemurians, Muians, and Iramites) would reach incredible heights of magic using the Azoth mined from Hyperborea and Agartha, which rested right under the small globe of Hyperborea. But their potential was limited on Earth, being the least potent in magic of all the globes. So roughly 100 thousand years ago, they would migrate their continents, literally having them fly off into they sky, with Atlantis settling neat the scorched wastes (apart of which would later become the sunken wastes), Lemuria next to the Frozen Wastes and Greater Lemuria, the Muians in the Abyssal Ocean, the Iramites in the Scorched Wastes, and the entire globe of Hyperborea settling right on Asgard. These civilizations, now called the Subnoteans, are adept at magic, and have long since stopped caring about the affairs of Earth (minus Santa Claus who mines Azoth from the North Pole for the Subnoteans(it's a long story)) but they still inspire the myths and legends of humans thousands of years after they departed, with notable Hyperboreans pre migration having been mistaken as gods by the local humans.
That's about all I have to say on your questions, I could go further into human societies that formed past Antarctica, the age of exploration past the ice wall and it's abrupt end in the 1910s and numerous other topics, but this is already long enough lol. Thanks for listening to my lore dump
Honestly though, this shit would be so cool if it was real. You’re telling me beyond the ice wall there are some mythological lands? And then there’s ANOTHER wall in the form of giant mountains?! And past THAT is where Norse and Egyptian gods live?!?
And then the four corners of our world include a huge ice wasteland, a giant desert, a giant sea, and… THE WALLS OF ASGARD?!?! Like this just sounds too dope. Whoever made this had to have watched too much One Piece, there’s no other explanation

Arariel
Very Large, Alpha World
A large very oceanic planet that is the system’s primary source of food through the floating ocean fisheries dotted all over the planet. The global ocean that covers the entire surface of the planet is too deep in most places to allow the proper formation of continents. Because of this gigantic vertical cities tower over what small islands are able to form, making as much use of the small landmass available as possible. Floating cities have been built to accommodate the growing numbers of workers coming to the planet to work as fishermen. Recently the inhabitants have been experimenting with building their cities under the water to make room for more people as well as avoid the harsh life of weathering the sea storms on the surface.
The ocean waters of Arariel are some of the deepest known to the Imperium, diving down several kilometers below the surface. In fact, the ocean is so deep that before you would reach the rocky “bottom” of the ocean you would run into a dense wall of ice formed by ocean water pressed into solid matter by the sheer weight of the water above it. Attempts have been launched to study the planet’s core but the lethal amounts of pressure at those depths have made progress slow.
The planet is host to an extremely diverse amount of aquatic wildlife that the Tennin system uses as one of it’s primary sources of food. The fisheries of Arariel are well known and food from the planet is served on every other planet in the Tennin System. Because the ocean is so deep, and the land masses are so small, most life on Arariel will go it’s entire lifespan without ever meeting a solid surface. As such the marine life has evolved in extremely unique and uninhibited ways. There are trillions species of small fish that find strength in numbers while roaming the global ocean, as well as a fair number of giant species of apex predators that prey on everything in between; some of these monsters are as large as the Imperium battle cruisers that pass over the planet.
History – Arariel was originally settled to be a paradise world for high ranking officials and wealthy business people to retire to in order forget their personal problems. As such the first structures on the planet were not fisheries or housing units but lavish resorts and exclusive beach-side mansions. Over time however as the planet was explored and the vast number of food sources were discovered, Arariel was instead seen as an answer to the food shortages the system was experiencing due to the growing Hiveworlds on Dumah and Kirman Katibin. It was not long before the world was stripped of it’s paradise status and fisheries with colonies of workers were established to make use of the world’s natural resources.
Any conflict on the planet comes from the competing fishing companies, which often turn violent, as well as from battling the harsh storms that wrack the planet. In fact, Arariel is the only planet in the Tennin that has never suffered a raid from Chaos forces, besides Maalik, and seems to have gone unnoticed by any other faction. It is unknown why this is the case; though it is speculated that other races or factions do not have the resources or patience to make use of the planet’s natural wealth. There are some fringe theories that state that other factions are afraid of something buried in the ice shelves at the bottom of the sea, but no surveys have yet found any evidence that such a thing exists.
Current Condition – Being the largest planet in the Tennin System and possibly the one with the largest amount of natural bio-mass when considering how full of life the oceans are, the planet was one of the first targeted by Hive Fleet Varanus after they left Zephon. Any island cities were extremely quickly over run and most of the floating cities have since been cleaned of life by the forces of the Hive Mind. The only surviving personnel on the planet are those in floating cities that had enough foresight to cut their anchors and are now drifting aimlessly across the global ocean as well as those inside the experimental under-sea cities which the Tyranids have yet to find. While some rescue operations are under way to save those not yet consumed, the Imperium is encouraging citizens to resume their fishing duties to alleviate some of the famine now engulfing the system after the planet was attacked. This is a mission that few have elected to undertake however as security feeds reveal that several of the surviving cities have fallen into anarchy with rioting, murder, rampant psychosis, and cannibalism. Some of the records that have since been restricted reveal that some cities have lost all faith in the Imperium of Man and have since fallen to Chaos as a means of preservation.
Interesting to those studying the Tyranid menace, there have been sightings of aquatic Tyranid organisms that have adapted to hunt the seas full of potential food, the likes of which have never been reported any where else. It is extremely likely that these new aquatic hunters will eventually not only cleanse the global ocean of life, but also locate and devour the hitherto hidden sunken cities.
