The protagonist WOULD have been Kay, fifteen, got lost while chasing after their dog; but the portal was slightly miscalibrated, so instead you have the dog that came through. Border Collie, male, the tag on the collar just has their rabies vaccination info and not the dog's name, responds to "boy" or "pup" or "dog" or "furball". Affectionate; knocks things over with wagging tail. Get this precious dog back with his family where he belongs!

(Re my earlier ask: the Border Collie’s name is actually Prince, so they might be able to resolve some loose prophecies with that.)

Injuries sustained in entrance to the Realm: He bumped his snoot. He’s okay though.

Details of Prophecy: We are currently unaware of any prophecies specific to animal companions, but frankly I wouldn’t put it past Granny Featherfly. She’s one for eccentric forecasts. However, two predictions have been unexpectedly resolved since our Fluffy Protagonist’s appearance. I am currently charting any similarities they may have had so that we can isolate what exactly about our fuzzy friend that fulfilled the prophecies.

Actions Taken: We patted him on the head and scratched his ears and gave him a bowl of water because he is a good boy and he was most receptive. My secretary suggests making him a place to stay here in the Offices so that if the chance for a portal back comes up, he’ll be first in line. Considering the rules for portaling animal companions are somewhat different than sentients, we may be able to send him home sooner than later. Please make it sooner. We are all getting attached.
