Transgenderism And The Bible -- Dewayne Bryant, Ph.D.
The rise of transgenderism in our culture presents a thorny challenge for Christians in a world that is blurring the lines between male and female. One of the newest challenges believers face is that of responding in a manner that is both faithful to Scripture and sensitive to individuals convinced that a person’s sex may be fixed at birth, but gender is fluid. Our obligation is to uphold…

Did anyone watch this while the whydunnit part was still up? That's what I most wanted to know what he could possibly come up with to explain and it's not there anymore :(
Loving the rosatrice video presenting the idea of Erika washing up on shore and immediately fucking dying before anyone could even find her
#anyways on the first part when he talks about Maria it already shows bad understanding of so many concepts#this man doesn't understand transgenderism autism or found family is it so weird that beatrice and maria would care about each other? No!#so frustrating#everytime I watch a new person talk about Umineko and they start to mention Maria I point a metaphorical gun at the screen#because she really is like a litmus test and I do not care for the opinion of people who don't get her#like seriously I'm so curious to know why he thinks Rosa would give a shit about Battler's sin especially since that line of logic was#something he used to “disprove” the official explanation#this is silly but I'm a curious bean I care I want to know :(

There's a genuine concern about Christian nationalism here in the States with Trump most likely entering office in 2025 and the agendas the Republican party has. Several states are legally requiring the Ten Commandments to be hung up in classrooms, Bible stories to be taught in classes, PragerU curriculums to be utilized. Our country's children- and us- are going to be endrenched in Christian ideology beyond any cultural norms we've ever seen, and we need to be vigilant about who we're getting our information from and putting our trust in.
To be clear, I do NOT think all Christians are Christian nationalists, nor are all Christians the bad guys. Liberal and non-Trumpie Christians are our allies. The kind of Christianity I'm talking about here is Evangelical Christianity- the kind that commands sharing your religion with other people so they don't go to Hell, giving up control of your personhood in favor of what the Bible teaches and church believes.
Thankfully, Evangelical Christianity has a lot of special lingo, and they love to cycle through the same talking points. This isn't some mystery we know nothing about- this is something, like anything else, we can use critical thinking to track and reason through. As a former Evangelical Christian living in the Bible Belt, here's some buzz points you're going to want to be aware of. Please feel free to add on if I missed anything, or correct me if I got anything wrong.
Phrases
Calling the Bible:
the Word (of God / God's word)
the Gospel (of Jesus)
The Scripture(s)
The Word / Gospel according to [book name]
Calling God:
Yahweh (my apologies to Jews for writing out the full name. I wish I didn't have to. There's been a rise lately in Evangelicals saying it, unaltered, and it's extremely rude to y'all.)
King Jesus
(the) Lord / Lord God / the Lord our God
(Heavenly) Father / Father in Heaven
(the) Savior
About the world:
We live in a fallen/broken world / there is so much sin around us
We can't trust our feelings / we can only trust God's word
We can do nothing apart from God
We must humble ourselves before God
We need Godly leaders in this country / we need God to lead this country
God works in mysterious ways
We need to say "Merry Christmas" more (not joking)
Wars and rumors of wars (this pertains to the end times as described in Revelation)

Please Dear Lord, have mercy on me. Have mercy on all of us, as we watch and pray for our return. Rid our mind, body and souls of any sinful thoughts and desires. Be with us always until the day you finally come for your church. Knowing the times we are living, now is more than a greater time than ever to turn towards you. For you, are the one true path to Heaven. And forever will we be putting our faith in you, watching for you and speaking your truth.
Come fast, Lord Jesus.
Amen.

By: Jerry A. Coyne
Published: Mar 30, 2025
As an evolutionary biologist, I joined the Freedom From Religion Foundation because I supported its work guarding the wall of separation between religion and government, educating the public about how to be moral without faith, and, most important, upholding science and rationality over dogma and superstition. I served on an FFRF advisory board, and the foundation gave me its annual “The Emperor Has No Clothes” award in 2011.
I resigned because the foundation has abandoned science. Two other board members, Steven Pinker and Richard Dawkins, joined me.
The trouble began in November, when the organization published an essay on its website denying the basic biological fact that all animals, including humans, have only two sexes. The FFRF piece, titled “What is a woman?,” concluded by begging the question: “A woman is whoever she says she is.”
I wrote a rebuttal, “Biology is not bigotry,” which FFRF published in late December. But the woke care more about “progressive” ideology than scientific facts, and within a day the FFRF took down my article and issued a statement asserting the publication of my piece was an “error of judgment,” that it “does not reflect our values or principles,” that it had caused “distress,” and that the FFRF stands “firmly with the LGBTQIA-plus community.” Then, after Mr. Dawkins, Mr. Pinker and I left the advisory board, FFRF dissolved the entire board.
In many ways, transgender ideology is no different from the religious dogma the FFRF was founded to oppose. It insists on doctrines that are palpably untrue (“trans women are women”), engages in circular reasoning (“a woman is whoever she says she is”) and affirms mind/body dualism (“your self-concept is more real than your actual sex”).
It also makes anathema of heresy and blasphemy (tarring of dissenters as “transphobes”), attempts to silence critics who raise valid counter arguments, seeks to proselytize children in schools and excommunicates critics (J.K. Rowling is the best-known example). Like religious fundamentalists, proponents of these views have a fierce conviction that they’re morally correct and know what’s best for you and society. To disagree is to be immoral—sinful, you might say.
The FFRF’s road to quasireligious views was a long one, paved by secular philosophers and the movements they spawned. It includes the Gnostic view that one’s true identity goes well beyond the physical body. As a Catholic website comparing Gnosticism with transgenderism notes, “The underlying concept is the same, that who we ‘really’ are is not our bodies, but rather some sort of interior ‘ego,’ or ‘I’ that constitutes our true self. It is incumbent that the body must conform to that true self.”
Some forms of feminism have made a contribution, with constructivists like Judith Butler arguing that sex is a social construct, not “a bodily given on which the construct of gender is artificially imposed, but . . . a cultural norm which governs the materialization of bodies.” This is a denial of evolution.
Existentialism has contributed the idea of self-definition, and postmodernism the notion that there is no objective truth, only struggles over power. Critical theory puts forth the view of a hierarchy of victimhood, in which “trans” people hold a position near the top.
This is why I titled my critique of these views “Biology is not bigotry.” The definition, development and recognition of biological sex is a scientific issue, while the rights of gender variants is an ethical one. There is nothing in biology that supports stigmatizing gender nonconformists, so it’s wrong to force people to choose between trans rights and scientific reality.
The FFRF has not only abandoned science but suppressed discussion and argument about its decision. Given the organization’s embrace of quasireligious and unscientific dogma, I’m proud to proclaim myself a heretic.

Vesper Henry at MMFA:
June this year will mark a decade since the Supreme Court codified gay marriage across the nation — a ruling right-wing media said was worth “weep[ing]” over, and lamented at the time as “the greatest, most historic, landmark blunder in the history of the United States Supreme Court.”
In the interim, right-wing media focused their attacks on transgender people, materializing into a yearslong culture war and now a presidential administration with an unabashed anti-trans agenda.
Confident that they have put transgender people on their back foot, right-wing media are mobilizing against gay marriage once again, a fight for which they have years of practice.
Trans rights became the new focus for mainstream and right-wing media after Obergefell v. Hodges
The cultural spotlight was already shifting toward transgender people by the time gay marriage was codified.
A year before the Supreme Court ruled on Obergefell, Time magazine published “The Transgender Tipping Point” as its June 2014 cover issue, highlighting trans actress Laverne Cox and burgeoning transgender visibility. In 2015, just weeks after the court ruling, trans actress Jen Richards wrote for The Advocate about the need for a more cohesive trans movement, writing, “With the battle for gay and lesbian rights on a seemingly inevitable path to victory in the United States, both the media and LGBT organizations have been in search of what's next. And there are plenty of people to point out that no one has been treated less equally than trans people.” [Time, 5/29/14; The Advocate, 7/14/15]
To that end, right-wing media quickly mobilized against the trans community post-Obergefell.
In June 2015, the Family Research Council — which the Southern Poverty Law Center calls a hate group — released a document outlining how to respond to the transgender movement, pushing rhetoric that called trans identity a “fantasy” or “delusion” and arguing against pro-trans legislation. In December of that year, Media Matters wrote that right-wing media had begun wholly recycling anti-gay rhetoric against trans people, claiming that acceptance was a “slippery slope” to incest and bestiality or a threat to religious freedom and that trans people were a threat to children. Anti-LGBTQ televangelist Pat Robertson notably changed his tune, shifting from asserting in 2013 that he did not believe transness was sinful to calling trans people “frauds” in 2016. [Family Research Council, June 2015; Southern Poverty Law Center, accessed 3/17/25; Media Matters, 12/28/15; The Advocate, 7/29/13; People for the American Way, 4/19/16]
[...]
Right-wing media are employing anti-trans rhetoric to attack gay marriage.
When some Virginia lawmakers launched a fight to strike the state's same-sex marriage ban, the Daily Signal — an outlet previously affiliated with the Heritage Foundation — platformed Alliance Defending Freedom's arguments against doing so. The proposed resolution would prevent the state from denying “lawful marriage on the basis of the sex, gender, or race of such parties.” A lawyer for ADF, an SPLC-designated hate group, submitted a letter to Republican state legislators targeting the use of both “sex” and “gender” in the text. He argued that adding “gender” to the state constitution would cause “chaos and abuses” to follow. Weeks later, Michael Knowles reiterated his belief that gay marriage is “predicated on the logic of transgenderism,” saying: “Well, if transgenderism is wrong, that means there really are distinctions between men and women. If there really are distinctions … then maybe we need to rethink that redefinition of marriage thing. Because that … is predicated on the logic of transgenderism — the notion that the sexes are basically indistinguishable and indiscernible.” A month after that, Knowles’ colleague Matt Walsh argued that gay marriage was not “settled,” citing “gender ideology” as a reason for its declining support in YouGov polls. Walsh added, “What conservatives need to do as quickly as possible is to capitalize on Democrats' weakness, start passing laws that reverse the derangement that's been so dominant for so long.” [SPLC, archived 3/17/25; The Daily Signal, 1/15/25; The Daily Wire, The Michael Knowles Show, 2/6/25; The Daily Wire, The Matt Walsh Show, 3/6/25]
Nearly 10 years after SCOTUS handed down the Obergefell v. Hodges ruling, right-wing media are back to lobbing anti-marriage equality attacks after being mostly successful in their attacks on trans people.

Prayer For Today 🧡

Dear Lord, Heavenly Father, who called us to live in peace; crime is on the increase and destroying our inner cities, our country and the world.
Our so called leaders have failed their people, thrown millions of dollars into corrupt and failed policies, destroyed the churches that used to be a safe haven and crushed the family unit.
Instead of children playing in the streets safely, drug dealers are ruling the neighborhoods.
Our leadership pushing abortion homosexuality, transgenderism and pornography on our children, instead of teaching love, virtue and charity.
Artists pushing their filth, hate and evil on the world. Holy Spirit, bring healing to our world, open the eyes of the people, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God,
so that they may thus receive release and forgiveness from their sins and place them among those who are consecrated and purified by faith in, and through Jesus Christ we pray, Amen🙏✝️
Ephesians 6:12
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Transgenderism is a mental illness. Repent and turn to God. I hope He forgives you for your sins, and can turn you into a pure, holy soul. Transgenderism is not the answer.
Two can play at that game, buddy.
Transphobia is a mental illness. Be rational and turn to reality. I hope you can forgive yourself for your vitriolic rhetoric, and can turn yourself into a pure, kind mind. Transphobia is not the answer.

It's always weird when I see people mention Sarah Z. I thought we all gave up on her a long time ago. The fact that she apparently still has viewers when the comments under every video of hers I've ever seen are full of people correcting her on extremely basic things like "Honest Trailers and Cinema Sins are not the same company or same people, which you should know since one of your friends used to work for the former and she would've mentioned it to you if they were the same thing". That anyone still watches this idiot deeply baffles me.
Her calling random people who are popular a TERF isn't remarkable, though. Lots of antis do that. Lily Orchard infamously called a trans woman a TERF, misgendered her (despite being trans herself) and called her a Nazi before, that exact same day, retweeting an actual self-identified white nationalist who views "the disease of transgenderism" as something we will one day be able to cure with medicine.
And gloating about getting harassment and doxxing going against someone... anon, that's almost all antis. Think of Stitch. Think of Lily Orchard stealing art from an artist and then making a video about what a bitch the artist was in order to send her 100k fanbase on a mass harassment campaign against the woman. Think of Harriyanna Hook showing uncensored screenshots of people who ship "racist" (interracial) or "pedophilic" (height difference) ships to her followers in her videos so they do the same thing.
Sarah is notably devoid of charisma or personality but being a hateful bully who misuses serious words to win internet arguments is the entire movement. That's who they are. They're ignorant, vicious, and think they're noble and good because their media intake is "correct", and they are wonderful inherently, by virtue of being them.
This is not unusual. This is the kind of person their cult morphs everyone into who gets into it.
Being terrible is by design. Cruelty is the point.

Why I Do Not Celebrate “LGBTQ+ Pride Month” But Mourn It

by Robert A.J. Gagnon
Not only is pride generally a sin, but also there is nothing to be proud of in the so-called "LGBTQ+ Pride Month." Let us love persons with same-sex attractions and gender-identity dysphoria by rejecting that facet of their existence that dishonors the persons whom God has created in his image.
We should also show sympathy for their struggle with sinful desires, and applaud the way God can use the mortification of such desires to deepen a relationship with himself and others. Yet no one should take pride in such desires or the behavior that follows from gratifying them.
I. What is there to be proud of?
Why should one take pride in being erotically aroused by the distinctives of one's own sex, which is either narcissism or self-deception (viz., the failure to apprehend that one is already fully one's own sex)?
Should people also take pride in being erotically aroused by close kin (incest, i.e., attraction to a kinship same, akin to attraction to a sexual same) or by multiple persons concurrently (which Jesus rejected based on the logic of God's intentional creation of a sexual binary)?
Why should one take pride in rejecting the messaging of one's body as designed by God by identifying with a "gender" at odds with one's biological sex? A complaint against one's Creator is nothing to be proud of, but rather an expression of idolatry.
II. Social harm and the condemnation of Scripture
The "queer" lifestyle is one marked by disproportionately high rates for sexually transmitted disease and higher numbers of sex partners (especially for homosexual males), as well as higher relational turnover and increased mental health problems (especially for homosexual females).
These risks correlate with known male-female differences; expected results when an intimate relationship lacks true sexual counterparts or complements. Same-sex unions don't moderate the extremes of a given sex; they ratchet them up; don't fill in the gaps, but widen the breach.
Scripture (including Jesus and the apostolic witness to him) views homosexual practice and transgenderism as abhorrent sexual immorality ("abominations") that can get unrepentant offenders excluded from God's kingdom. Such behaviors assault the foundation of sexual ethics as defined by Jesus himself, his Scripture, and his apostles.
III. The dangers of “LGBTQ+” politics
The "LGBTQ+" political agenda is the most illiberal and hateful agenda in politics today. It is characterized by efforts to stifle free speech and the free exercise of religion. It is the greatest threat to these freedoms in the Western world today, and has been for decades.
No political lobby has concentrated more on canceling and censoring others, indoctrinating school children, and even mandating compelled speech (the hallmark of totalitarians). People's jobs are being put at risk who dissent from "LGBTQ+" dogma: teachers, doctors, nurses, psychologists, florists, photographers, small business owners, lawyers, corporate executives, etc.
Children are being directed toward chemical castration and mutilation surgery, an obvious instance of child abuse being pushed by the state. Indeed, the state is now moving in the direction of regarding parents who fail to affirm their child's "LGBTQ+" identity as perpetrating child abuse (we know who the real child abusers are), requiring the state's intervention to take your own child away from you.
Men identifying falsely as women are invading women's restrooms, locker rooms, sports, shelters, and prisons, even being celebrated with misogynistic awards declaring them to be better women than real women.
The very idea of faithful Christian education is being put at risk, with calls for tying federal student loans, grants, and accreditation toward lock-step compliance with "LGBTQ+" ideology.
IV. Moral rot and true love
Science is suffering at the hands of a movement that teaches that men too can have periods and give birth. A gnostic spirit pervades the land, declaring entrapment in bodies not designed to express their sexually immoral desires.
This is not a month to be "proud" but rather a month to mourn. Mourn the moral rot pervading our country. It has harmed not only the nation as a whole, but especially those who in their self-delusion celebrate what is injurious to themselves, and to their relationship with others and God.
As Paul told the Corinthians, they should not be "puffed up" or "inflated with pride" over their ability to tolerate an egregious act of sexual immorality (there a case of adult-consensual incest). To support the "queer" life is a manifestation of functional hate, not love.
Therefore, I choose rather to love, to love truly, those who identify as "gay," "lesbian," "bisexual," and "transgender," rejoicing in the truth rather than in the lie, whatever the cost for doing so.
