Another superhero family is here!!

Im so excited when I see the official logo and poster of The Fantastic 4 on Valentines Day. All the 60s vides, the cast reveal, and also H.E.R.B.I.E!!

Just in time when I release Doctor Doom previously, this will complete the Baxter Building in your Sims 4 world!

All of the suit is based on Marvel Future Fight model. The texture, the mesh, and now im working on 5 swatches for all 4 of them so it will give them more alternative looks. Stay tuned!!

WE ARE BACK!

Hey everyone!

I’m so happy to announce that I'm finally back with more Sims 4 custom content after an unexpected break. First, I want to sincerely apologize for my absence. A hurricane recently hit my town, and unfortunately, my laptop was destroyed and drenched in water. It’s been a tough time, but I’m excited to share that my laptop is now fixed, and I’m ready to get back to creating and sharing with all of you!

Thank you all for your patience and support during this time. I’ve been working hard to make up for the lost time, and I’ve got an exciting lineup of new custom content ready to go! Here’s what you can look forward to from now until mid-October:

DUDELZ of the Damned | Pokétober

HEY THERE PEOPLE OF TODAY AND ROBOTS OF TOMORROW! IT'S ME, CLARK!

A chill is in the air. You can feel it can't you? Perhaps you even recognize it. That same chill arrives every year right on the dot. With it comes a frightful howl in the moonlight, the only other sound to be heard. Otherwise there is a strange calmness settling around you, like the point of ease before the storm. By now the howling has stopped. It has been replaced by a different sound. Footsteps. Big, heavy, dragging, as if the figure didn't quite know how to use their legs. Perhaps it's a random passerby. Perhaps it's a rotting, frightful feature freshly risen from the grave. Perhaps it's some other, unspeakable horror waiting to pounce! Whatever it is, you're not waiting around to find out! Yet no matter how far you run, it can't be escaped. The chill in the air, the howling of the wind, the heavy footsteps, it all leads back to one thing: October is here! And with it comes the return of the DUDELZ of the Damned!

Yes weirdos, like last year, my approximation of Sketchtober has returned. I call it an proxy because there was no list of prompts. Nah, that'd be too limiting. This is yet another case where I compiled my own list of ideas, sketched them out, then used one color per picture. With all that said, let's see what spoopy scribblings await us today!

Whatever changes may come, some things remain the same. Sue the Game Genie has figured this out for herself while exploring the modern world of gaming. Despite the decrease in competitors, the race for console supremacy still rages on. People are still obsessed with VR for some reason. At least now it’s in full color instead of simply red and black. Mobile gaming has especially come a long way. Her trusty Game Buddy never insisted she pay another two bucks to advance in the game. It can all become so overwhelming for a program who hasn’t been active since the late 90s. Luckily one thing remains the same: she wants to be the very best! That no one ever was! So what if there’s over 150 of them now? That just makes it more of a challenge. Gotta catch’m all! Gonna catch’m all! And nobody better get in her way…

Trust me, I speak from my experience. My spotted butt still has grill marks where she sicced Charizard on me. Speaking of the big iguana, those of you who have been around awhile know my rule regarding fan art and DUDELZ. Basically I can draw my characters in settings and outfits similar to those seen in other media, but drawing characters from said media is a big no no. Not unless said character is from an online creator. The reason is simple: my even thinking of drawing Donald Duck would result in the happiest lawsuit on Earth from Disney. Whereas drawing Queen Monova wouldn’t result in the same happening from SIM-N. Dem’s the rules. Luckily, being the giraffe who wrote them, I can dictate when to break’m. This was a decision made after watching tons of North of the Border videos. After years of joking about it with Sue’s co-creator The Bargain Bin Hobo, it was finally decided to show Sue catching Pokémon. Or at least as many as I could fit onto the page. Was gonna include her friend Freeze Frame and boyfriend Action Replay, but they’re currently undergoing design tweaking. Instead, enjoy my Game Genie with her favorite pocket monsters. Oh, and unlike Most Gen 1 fans, Sue gave these creatures names:

Charizard = Smokey

Squirtle = Caravaggio

Digletts = Larry, Curly, and Fred

Muk = Labrea

Pikachu = Pikachu (why mess with a classic?)

Arbok = Irwin

Headcheese = Avidan (props to anybody who gets this reference)

Gardevoir = Mindfreak

Mew = Mewone

No doubt all you Poképurists are grinding your teeth right now at Sue’s audacity. Either way, I hope you all enjoy this DUDEL as much as I enjoyed drawing it! And remember: ff you’re gonna enslave tiny creatures to have them battle one another, the last you can do is name’m.

Poppycock Progeny - Pikabu (33)

DOTY kept me busy the last couple months, since I was so close that it only counted in horse shoes to the final round, I thought it would be fun to see what my Sims were up to. I might even finish cropping my previews and zip up all the stuff I made for six rounds of DOTY 2024.

Pikabu had a few days off before returning to work so besides talking up a storm on her cell, I thought she could work on those skill points. She was half done with her final Cooking point, so I set her down and got her on it. Pikabu took herself off the Sue's Secret Kitchen that Sharlene Royce had invited her to while she was skilling. Pikabu chose to compete with a turkey. Note how everyone else made Baked Alaska. Thought I might have picked the wrong food to make. She's competing against Sharlene Royce (chef), her niece, Bathsheba, and Emily Pons from the Hoytona P.D.

Wahoo! Looks like Pikabu's turkey is the winner!

The next night at work, Pikabu made her LTW. Her new LTW is World Class Ballet Dancer.

Mary-Sue: How long?!

Daniel: What?

Mary-Sue: How long have you been cheating on me with that woman? That woman that you knocked up and brought into our house!

Daniel: Mary-Sue it’s not like that! I told you she doesn’t know who the father is! Come on let’s talk this through calmly.

Mary-Sue: Get off me! Stop lying to me tell me the truth now!

Daniel: Okay, okay I’m the father! But it was a mistake, a huge mistake! Please Mary-Sue I didn’t mean for any of this to happen.

Mary-Sue: You mean you didn’t expect to be caught! How long has this been going on?

Daniel: I started sleeping with Kaylynn when we lived in Pleasantview-

Daniel: No- I mean yes I mean well I stopped seeing her when we moved to Veronaville but then the day after Evelyn’s birthday I was downtown for work and I ran into her and well we kind of woohooed.

Some of my favorite worlds part 2

The next world I’ve been spending some extra time in is Pleasantview by @pleasantsims​.  Oh, the nostolgia!  This is so crazy!  I actually felt like I was in the sims 2 for a minute!  The world is as close a replica as was possible to the Sims 2 hood complete (via save file) with a full population including the Sims 2 NPC’s.

I started out in Don’s house and needless to say within two minutes of playing Nina was with child.  I have always felt that poor Cassandra didn’t deserve Don and his antics so I sent her over to catch him and dump him before she could marry him.

With that settled, it was on to the Pleasant household.  Can we just take a minute to appreciate how amazing this whole family looks!

Daniel of course was carrying on with Kaylynn, but Mary Sue was completely oblivious!  Also, I plopped down some public lots in the many empty lots included because the base world was built up using Base game and Late Night only.

Finally!  She caught them...then promptly passed out on the dinning room floor!  Poor Mary Sue!

Dina got flirty with Don, haunted by the ghost of her dead husband and asked Dustin Broke to move in with her??!!  Oh!  She also got engaged to Mortimer, had his child and broke up with him...Oh Dina!

Speaking of Mortimer, apparently he’s upset about clowns for some reason!

Darren Dreamer painted up a storm.  SP got him together with a pregnant Brandy Broke and they got engaged.  Lilith moved in with Dirk and the rest of the family once Daniel moved out!  Phew!  There is never a shortage of drama drama in Pleasantview!

Languages you speak: My first languages are English and Braid Scots. I can speak conversational French (although it has been several years and I’m not very confident with it), a little bit of German and a little bit of Polish.

Are you a mermaid: Fuck that, I’m Ursula

Your Playstyle: I basically live in CAS and leave from time to time to play with my sims. I generally play legacies and occasionally play a longplay rotational where I’ll manually age sims and keep spreadsheets and whatnot for accuracy. I avoid building if I can. Does collecting CC count as playing?

Your favorite age state: Probably teens and YAs as for me, that’s when we really get into the legacy generation and get to know them, but when Caleb and Valentina became elders, I began to develop a love for them too!

Your favorite season: Spring

Your favorite holiday: My sims celebrate Pride and I love playing through that as they generally have an amazing time and it’s a happy occasion. I also love Winterfest.

How was your day: We’re in the middle of another doom storm, the town is flooded and my good boots are now fucked, however I also listened to crime podcasts and had passive-aggressive email wars with our property providers, while eating shortbread, so fairly okay when averaged out.

Your favorite career: A lot of my sims end up as writers, however Heather is playing through the stylist career and I kind of love that....oh and the Conservationist career! I refuse to choose!

Your favorite aspiration: Family.

2020 WNBA Mock Draft 1.0

This draft is difficult to predict because so many picks have been traded since free agency started, and there are many top caliber juniors who are eligible to declare early. The only junior to do so thus far has been Satou Sabally. I will only include players who are seniors or have announced they will declare early.

1. New York Liberty- Sabrina Ionescu (Oregon)

This is no brainer. She is the first player in NCAA history to have 2k points, 1k assists and 1k rebounds. She will not only bring talent to New York, but much needed hype and publicity. With their move to Brooklyn, this is perfect timing for the Liberty. She will rejuvenate the organization and fan base after 2 disappointing seasons. 

2. Dallas Wings- Satou Sabally (Oregon)

Early mock drafts had Lauren Cox going to her home town Wings, but with Sabally declaring early that changes things. Sabally has all the tools to be an MVP in the WNBA. She is a versatile big who can play as a guard. Sue Bird and Skylar Diggins- Smith have said Sabally is the most pro ready player in college right now. Even though Ionescu is no doubt going to be the number 1 pick, it seems like Sabally has the most potential and the highest ceiling of anyone in this draft class.

3. Indiana Fever- Lauren Cox (Baylor)

Cox is an elite shot blocker. If Indiana has her coming off the bench, they will have some of the best rim protection in the league. If she plays with McCowan on the floor she also has the ability to stretch the floor and hit from the 3. She is also a great passer from the post. There isn’t much she can’t do. Lauren Cox is also a Type 1 Diabetic, and will be the first diabetic in the WNBA. As a type 1 diabetic myself this is great for me to see. I wish I had a female diabetic athlete to look up to when I was younger. 

4. Atlanta Dream- Kiah Gillespie (Florida St.)

This is where the draft gets especially tricky. Atlanta has made a lot of moves this off season. They traded for Kalani Brown, and Courtney Williams. They also signed free agents Glory Johnson and Shekinna Stricklen. They have overhauled their roster without having to give away too much. Gillespie has been one of the biggest draft jumpers this season. She can do a bit of everything, and can be a solid back up to Stricklen. 

5. Dallas Wings- Ruthy Hebard (Oregon)

The Wings have 4 top 10 picks, and about a million players set to be at their training camp already. They’ve made all sorts of moves, but I’m not sure what their ultimate goal is. I’m going with the best available pick here. Depending on who else declares this pick can change. 

6. Minnesota Lynx- Crystal Dangerfield (Connecticut)

Minnesota has been the most quiet this off season. Augustus is off to Los Angeles, Odyssey Sims is pregnant and most likely to miss all of the 2020 season, and Danielle Robinson signed with the Aces. The Lynx are in desperate need of a guard. Her assist numbers are down this year, but Dangerfield has the ability to be an elite passer. She is also a sharp shooter who isn’t afraid to launch from way downtown. She was also teammates with Napheesa Collier for 3 years, so they already have chemistry. 

7. Dallas Wings- Tyasha Harris (South Carolina)

With already picking 2 bigs, it seems logical the Wings would go with a guard here. She is a consistent scorer who is an above average defender. She is the senior point guard to a young South Carolina team. She is a big reason they are currently number 1 in the country. If the Wings get into injury trouble this season, Harris is a player who won’t have a problem stepping up. 

8. Chicago Sky- Mikayla Pivec (Oregon St.)

Pivec is a versatile guard who plays bigger than her height. Very similar to Sky Guard/Forward Gabby Williams. She is currently shooting 51% from the floor, and grabs rebounds like a power forward/center. She is also a great passer. The Sky don’t have any glaring holes to fill, so a versatile player like Pivec is a great player to have on the bench for whatever problems may arise.

9. Dallas Wings- Kaila Charles (Maryland)

Here we are again with a pick for the Wings. Charles and Maryland have had a tumultuous season. But they are making a late season surge. She is currently shooting 50% from the field and is an incredible rebounder for a guard (very similar to Pivec). She is a great defender who can get you a steal or a rebound when it’s crunch time. 

10. Phoenix Mercury- Beatrice Mompremier (Miami)

Mompremier has been dealing with a foot injury for most of this season, so she is a bit of a wildcard. Phoenix lost Bonner to Connecticut, and Sacho lyttle and Camille Little to retirement. They will be looking to replace the height and length they’ve lost. Mompremier could potentially be a big steal for Phoenix and 10th. 

11. Seattle Storm- Te’a Cooper (Baylor)

Cooper has been phenomenal for Baylor this season. She is a floor general who is also capable of being a scorer when her team needs it. Seattle doesn’t have any holes to fill in their roster, so this pick looks to be a bench warmer no matter who they pick. With Sue Bird having who knows how many seasons left, having a young point guard is never a bad idea for the Storm. 

12. Washinton Mystics- Mikiah Herbert- Harrigan (South Carolina)

GM and Head Coach Mike Thibault likes to draft outside of the box. That’s why I’m going with Herbert Harrigan. She is an incredible shot blocker who is a consistent scorer and rebounder. She plays bigger than her size and hustles on both ends of the floor. This is the type of player Thibault likes to have on his team.
